A mom who plays Yugioh to stay involved with her kids! And, yes, I am into the Martial Arts, having earned a black belt in American TKD, and studied Tang Soo Do, Song Moo Kwan, Tai Chi, and even a bit of Kung Fu.

Following are the decks we're tinkering with so far - built with a LOT of assistance from people involved with this Wikia.

Cool-Looking Decks[edit]

This is simply a list of decks I stumbled across that caught my eye (or my son was asking about). I take no credit for any of these decks.

  • Crystal Abundance OTK is the most competitive Crystal Beast variant that I know of. Here's my version of it.

  • Hope you're satisfied. I can tell that you like the Rainbow Dragon variant, but Rainbow Dragon just isn't competitive enough to base a deck around.

Sworn Red-Eyes[edit]

I'm really proud of this one, because it was my idea (though I can't take all the credit for the build - THAT took a lot of help from a lot of people). Some day, I'm going to try to put this together and see how it does.

Notes: Using Plaguespreader Zombie you could send a "Wulf, Lightsworn Beast" back to the top of your deck that would usually be a dead card. You are then free to mill it in the End Phase, or through the effect of "Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter" or "Celestia, Lightsworn Angel", or maybe even "Charge of the Light Brigade". This would net you a free monster, while also opening the door to a Synchro Summon. (Grants access to Synchro Monsters, and its effect to revive itself is useful when coupled with Wulf, Lightsworn Beast or Necro Gardna and another Lightsworn Monster (Wulf or Gardna will be put on top of the Deck, and the Lightsworn's effect will mill them, granting a free Summon or a defense). With Imperial Iron Wall, this can be done as many times as the player wants.

Chaos Sorcerer reads: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster in your Graveyard from play. Once per turn, you can remove 1 face-up monster on the field from play. If you activate this effect, this card cannot attack during this turn.

Necro Gardna : Negate 1 attack from a monster your opponent controls and use the monster you've just protected to Tribute Summon Celestia, Lightsworn Angel or Gragonith, Lightsworn Dragon. Since its place is in the graveyard, it can become a positive thing if milled by a Lightsworn monster or discarded by Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner.

Possible alternates Darkblaze Dragon, Shiny Black "C"

The above deck is a hybrid, Cyber Dragon and Ancient Gear. It utilizes Ancient Gear Drill to search for cards like Future Fusion, Heavy Storm, and Overload Fusion. The deck can run multiple ways; the main being to OTK or FTK via Chimeratech Overdragon (superior in that it can attack multiple times - one 8000 attack from foretress can be blocked by one monster. A 4000atk beater that can attack 5 times can clear the field AND win is far superior. Overdragon is also compatible with Overload Fusion, dump your machines via Future Fusion and use Overload for a possible OTK). As well as OTKing via Overdragon, the deck can also win through a well timed Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem; placed well, the Ultimate Golem can kill your opponent (it's easy summonability helps as well.). On top of Overdragon and Ultimate Golem, the deck can play it out via the Ancient Gears. Geartown allows the deck to summon Golem with one tribute and allows Beast to be summoned alone. Gadjilitron Dragon is included as when Geartown's destroyed, you can Special Summon an Ancient Gear. As Golem can't be Special Summoned, Gadjiltron Dragon is included.

Note One Elemental Hero Prisma s good, more is better ;) this is the most expensive component of the deck. It's recommended, not essential.

I had to increase the monster count to 24 to increase the probability of removing a Fairy with Miraculous Descent. The deck has greater than average amounts of deck draws, but it has many great first-turn moves. Set a Ryko. Set a Marshmallon. Set a Sangan. Set a Shining Angel. Set Torrential Tribute. Get Valhalla and summon a bunch of guys. If you are playing Blackwings and you draw Brain Control and Gale, you can Special Summon Gale and Synchro Summon with their monster, all without using your Normal Summon. Side deck well against Gladiator Beasts, because they will be tough to beat with this deck. Tell me what you think of the deck. I'll be happy to make another draft of it. -bewk 02:22, May 30, 2010 (UTC)

  • My notes: I'm hanging onto this one in hopes that some more of the dark or fallen fairies come out in the TCG. That would make this deck REALLY fun!
