Nov. 12th, 2011. Long time...wow. Got back from San Antonio in April and I'm ready to re-enter the dueling world. Anybody know when theyre gonna remake duel disks o.O?

Army money has gone a long way though in supplying my deck and collection and I think legendary collection2 is the best thing upperdeck could have done and I predict it won't be long until we see the third set.

Oh and just wanted to make a happy note about the fact that Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning was taken off the forbidden list, probably thanks to all the new cards being added to the meta game. Also I think Xyz monsters were a great addition to the extra deck due to the AGAIN easier summoning method, but I do think they will become increasingly annoying due to their staple like property. Lastly I'm having a love hate relationship with the way they're printing the instructions on the new cards. I can see the convenience in Banish and inflict Piercing damage but now they're gonna have to go back and reprint all the cards to reduce confusion.

Deck strategies

Loss and Gain, Gandora and Gorz Strike

I like to start out this strategy by already having Gorz the Emissary of Darkness on the field with a Emissary of Darkness Tokens on the field and Herald of Creation. Making sure I have more than just Gandora the Dragon of Destruction in my hand, I sacrifice Gorz the Emissary of Darkness and an Emissary of Darkness Token to summon Gandora the Dragon of Destruction. Then Using Herald of Creation's effect, i discard one card in my hand to return Gorz to my hand (This step can be replaced by Monster Reincarnation). After Gandora has used its effect when you end your turn you still have Gorz in your hand. It is more than likely that you will be attacked directly next turn so this makes Gandora's effect less costly on my part.

Tips

A good place to make your card buys is at flea-markets. Its a treasure cove. That's where I bought my new cards. There great because they're all individually owned so every now and then you could strike deals with the owners. The only con are conterfits. Fakes will not be displayed singly, so don't buy form the places that don't look good. Also, if you can see though the package that is an istant fake indicator. Lastly if the cost something $2.00 or less then they're fake or if the package looks like something thats cheep, dont buy!!
