Sorry for wasting your time with this

I tried the decks you suggested. They still won't work for me; I still cannot get any use out of any of the stun cards beside Wanghu and Ryko. It's like I'm cursed to be stuck with my crappy billy deck, at this rate. Even the Darklight deck didn't do anything; I couldn't even get the combo out in the duels I tried it with. So sorry, but these decks failed, and I dunno why. Thanks anyway, but sorry I wasted your time with this.

Oh, great, I just found another hitch in the Neko Mane King deck; Dark Deal has to be a RANDOM discard, meaning there's no way to guarantee you discard NMK. I might as well just stick with my Billy Tiger deck, at this rate. SynjoDeonecros (talk • contribs) 02:20, December 20, 2011 (UTC)

Catsith I'm only going to limit to 2, because of the fear of clogging the hand, but I figured it would be better than nothing. As for replacing Heavy storm with a third MST...I still don't see the reason why. I don't have any Prisons on me, so until I can get some, Armor is the best I can do. As for stalling the opponent, it was suggested I go with something like Threatening Roar to keep the opponent from destroying it in battle, so they'll be forced to use their destruction effects to get rid of it. I also remembered I forgot Dark Bribe to keep the opponent from negating my Dark Deals and whatnot. Seeing as we seem to be getting more and more requests for Deckbuilders, I think we should create an Application section on the Main DFF page, under our staff section. Turbo Cannon

The Extra Deck isn't very substantial, since nearly all of my monsters are low Level. Past Turbo Cannon and Armory Arm (and at a stretch, Librarian), all that remains are Rank 1 Xyzs.

Well, I know its futile now (you guys really need to hide your decision-making page better), but I figured that a job left undone was simply not in the spirit of things. I always see a project through, even if the requester no longer cares, simply because its useful to me and they may start caring again (although I know that in this case, the latter is impossible).

The deck should be fairly self-explanatory. Rocket's quite hard to seaarch, but I'm hoping that what I could muster was enough. D-Prison deals with Destruction negaters, while Volcanic Queen, while she may seem pointless compared to Lava Golem (who gets rid of 1 additional opposing monster), helps to get rid of pesky face-down monsters.

That's about all I can muster here. It was a very difficult request (in my opinion) and I've kind of lost some of my spirit after reading the others' comments. Do with this what you will. Battlemaniac (talk • contribs) 21:55, March 7, 2012 (UTC)

Turbo Cannon redo

After looking back at my Turbo Cannon deck, I've realised it has one fatal flaw: although it's easy enough to get out my non-Tuners, Turbo Rocket is another story. And while I've already failed, I feel it would be an injustice not to update the deck (which is ironic, seeing as you were the only one who had anything nice to say).

Decks for Free! Test: Alien Deck

Hello SyncroManiac10. DarkAce allowed me another chance. My computer has been down so it took me a while to get it fixed. -__-. Don't aske me to explain. Anyway here is that Competitive Alien Deck you requested.

Ok so this is a Personal Favorite of mine. Aliens are a very fun archetype but lack very little competitive value in todays metagame. One of the first things i notice about aliens is the utter lack of Draw Power. While it was a pain in the butt to find a consistant draw engine to cram into the deck, i found that Pot of Duality solves the problem quite nicely. Another thing about aliens is that they kinda rely on their "A-counters" to drop the power of my opponent, so i included several monsters to help put the counters to action. One Little guy i found that works wonders for the deck in this day and age is Alien Kid. Boasting only 1600 ATK this guy takes a lot of Strategy and Prediciton to Play Properly but if he is he is a blessing in disguise. With the ablity to play an "A-counter" on any monster that is Special Summoned, he can quickly stop some OTK's. Unknown Syncron is one of those monsters that seems to not fit with the deck but works so beautifully. With him, i am able to make a quick LV. 8 or 5 Syncro Monster without missing the Timing of Alien Dog. Offering to the Snake Deity is a card i found that works wonders with this deck. WHile Code A Ancient Ruins is on the field i can destroy 1 of my aliens and 2 cards my opponent controls and place an counter on the Ruins. TO tell the truth, this deck actually faces a lot of threats without its Side Deck. I have one ready i can send you as part of the deck or you can create your own. I hope you Enjoy ^^. DFF Issue - Getting Our House in Order?

Some of the posters have been recently posting that I've been the only one doing requests. Now that's kinda true, but I know some of your reasons for this. Now I have a few propositions to make:

• Issue 1: We have a backlog of requests again, so is there any way you guys could be on more/comment more on DFF Applicants, so we can hire new people? Also, what do you guys think about possibly taking on "Deckbuilder Apprentices"? They would just be people who applied and that we personally think would have potential later?

• Issue 2: We have a huge backlog of Decks in the Archive that should be moved into the Galleries, so why not hire people to specifically move the Decks into the Galleries?

• Issue 3: Do we need 3 people to do the trials? I personally think 2 should be good.

• Issue 4: Should we ever make the "Dark Sun" public? Sometimes it's important for people to know what we think, and sometime the raw comments and better than our soft-cake comments?

Just Reply back with the "DFF Issue" header followed by your name, that way I can follow it easier.

I see you're trying to help with the Bounzer request this time. Just a heads up about his topics, if you haven't noticed already, if he doesn't like the look of the deck he will criticize it without testing since it doesn't look like what he envisioned it to look like. I tried to help him last month or so and he was difficult to negotiate with. Also I'll try to get the Union deck done in the next few days to ease some decks off you. Stand Alone GK Engine

Hmm, well the deck seems really passive, and it looks like your trying to respond to your opponent's play, instead of making them.

True, but in all honesty, decks like this are kinda pointless...why manipulate battle position when you can just win bigger bodies and better defense? But that's obviously not going to work here. I heard you are really good with building decks, and i had this idea( dont worry it will be interesting unless this has been done before.) i had the idea of having a main deck that can be customized by having as many extra decks with distinct "personalities" at this point i am trying to make a normal sized deck that can work with itself or the extra deck to change up the playing style. The people that i duel usually are six samurai swarm deck users but a couple are pretty smart and the deck i use now isnt cutting it. It honestly feels like a toss up between the Diviner build (I'm assuming you mean D-Hero) and the level 8 one. They both have a good amount of draw power that can compliment Gem-Knights. Yeah, I was hoping you'd pitch in with your set of advice, but for future reference I suppose it's good to know. In all honestly, the maintenance cost was throwing me off, but I can see where you're coming from, a reusable Fiend's Sanctuary is better than a single use Sanc.
