My Rules

Hello, welcome to my Rules page. In this page I put some rules that my friends and me use in duels. They are not official but I think is important to show other ways to play games.

• Cards like Mystical Space Typhoon and Dust Tornado negate the activation of the cards and destroy them, so they work against cards like Tribute to the Doomed.

• Send cards from the hand to the Graveyard is the same as discard.

• "Tribute" and "send" cards from the field to the Graveyard is the same as if they were destroyed. For Example: if you tribute Twin-Headed Behemoth you still can use his effect.

• Trap Cards and Quick-Play Spell Cards can be played anytime (but trap cards must be set at least for one turn to be activated). For example: Scapegoat can be played during your opponent's Battle Phase to protect your Life Points.

• There is no "correct timing" on the cards effects. For example if Butterfly Dagger - Elma is destroyed in a chain you can use it's effect and return it to your hand.

• A monster that effect includes: "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by" can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard if they were properly Summoned first. This doesn't apply for Egyptian God Cards.

• There are no Forbidden Cards, however there are Limited Cards. It is just like Traditional Format.

• Players can use Japanese Cards and counterfeit cards (Note: I don't play with counterfeit cards but many people do so, that's why i've decided to include this rule).

• Egyptian God Cards can be used under certain conditions (Only if the other player(s) allow it) and they have the following effects:
  • Slifer the Sky Dragon: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by tributing 3 monsters on your side of the field. The ATK of this card becomes the number of cards in your hand x1000. When your opponent summons a monster decrease the ATK of the monster by 2000 points until the End Phase of this turn, if the ATK of the monster is reduced to 0 by this card effect the monster is destroyed. This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard.
  • The Winged Dragon of Ra: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by tributing 3 monsters on your side of the field. The ATK of this card becomes the number equal to the combined ATK of the monsters you tributed to summon this card. The DEF of this card becomes the number equal to the combined DEF of the monsters you tributed to summon this card. This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, select and activate one of the following effects:
    • Pay 1000 Life Points to destroy one card on the field.
    • Pay any amount of LP to increase the ATK of this card by the same amount until the End Phase of this turn.
  • Obelisk the Tormentor: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by tributing 3 monsters on your side of the field. Tribute 2 monsters on your side of the field yo destroy all monsters on your opponent's side of the field. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase during this turn if you used this effect. This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard.
