Surging-Wave Erosion[edit]

You want to be completely sure then? Talk to this guy; he's a good translator.
I just want to let you know that with that sort of logic, how do you know it is "a Spell/Trap card"? It could be just "destroy a card" for all you know. Also, the ATK boost could be permanent, or all WATER monsters gain 500 ATK each turn! This is an extreme case, but this points out the bias in your reasoning. I'm not saying this angrily, nor am I angry/annoyed; I'm just saying this to make a point. 99% of the time when a new anime card has its lore presented for the first time by a regular yugioh.wikia user (with a username), it is usually correct. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 17:07, November 6, 2012 (UTC)

We don't run run this Wiki on the terms of some random anon. You don't know Japanese, I am telling you as an intermediate reader of Japanese that it clearly says Field Spell Card, what grounds do you have to say I'm wrong? What proof do you have that it isn't? I've added the Japanese lore to the page, and it clearly has "フィールド魔法カード" or Field Spell Card written on it. Next time, don't revert edits without any basis.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 17:15, November 6, 2012 (UTC)
Incidentally, the guy I referred you to CAN translate and write down the kanji. But Yami-Wheeler did it fine =P --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 17:19, November 6, 2012 (UTC)
We do not write the effects ourselves. We don't just willy-nilly write what seemed to happen in the episode. Most of the time, when a card article is created, it comes from a source that can understand Japanese. Are they right 100% of the time? Of course not. But please do not write us off like that. If you know any Japanese, you can see that it says Field Spell Card. There are cases where an effect isn't fully known, in which we can use {{reconstructed effect}}. This is not one of the cases. The entire card lore is clearly visible. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 18:49, November 6, 2012 (UTC)
