RE:Card Timing[edit]

Err, pardon? I'm not sure what you mean. Are you asking about missing the timing? --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 19:50, August 15, 2010 (UTC)

RE:I have a question...[edit]

1) Yep, you can activate the effect of "Spear Cretin". It was flipped and sent to the Graveyard, so its effect will activate. It can't miss the timing or anything, since its effect isn't optional.

However, your combo won't work. "Spear Cretin" can't Special Summon itself - see its rulings. However, you can Summon a second copy of "Spear Cretin". Even if you do Summon a second "Spear Cretin", then you can't flip it face-up. You Summoned it this turn, so you can't change its Battle Position, so you can't Flip Summon it.

2) This doesn't work either. As above, you can't change "Des Lacooda"'s Battle Position since you Summoned it this turn, so you can't Flip Summon it. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 07:23, August 16, 2010 (UTC)

Well, it seems "Machina" already answered the question, and he answered them correctly, so there is no reason for me to answer them again! ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 07:35, August 16, 2010 (UTC)

RE:Black Rose Dragon[edit]

The Special Summoning part of Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon is a Summoning Condition not an effect. So it doesn't have a Spell Speed thus it can't be chained to an effect like Black Rose Dragon's effect. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 07:46, August 28, 2010 (UTC)

RE:black rose dragon[edit]

Remember that "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" Summons itself by a Summoning Condition, not an effect. You can't Chain it to anything. It's the same as how you can't "Chain" a Normal Summon to anything. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 15:09, August 28, 2010 (UTC)

RE:Return from different dimension[edit]

Returning the monster(s) to the hand will prevent their removal from play with Return from the Different Dimension's condition. The same applies if the monster is flipped face-down. You can also activate a card that prevent them from being removed from play, like Imperial Iron Wall. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 07:32, September 2, 2010 (UTC)

RE:Mausoleum of the Emperor[edit]

You must either fully resolve Mausoleum of the Emperor's effect and pay 2000 points, or don't apply its effect at all and tribute 2 monsters. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 17:46, September 2, 2010 (UTC)

RE: Special Summoning Ritual and Fusion Monsters[edit]

Yes! All Synchro, Ritual and Fusion monsters must be Synchro/Ritual/Fusion Summoned successfully in order to be Special Summoned from the Graveyard with an effect.

For example, if you discard Relinquished from your hand with Tribute to the Doomed then you cannot Special Summon him from the Graveyard with Monster Reborn.

Also remember that some monsters have the restriction that they cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion/Synchro/Ritual Summon. Those monsters cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard even if they were Summoned properly before.

Psychid Welcomes YOU to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki![edit]

Salutations, Butterflyelma! My name is Psychid, and I'm kind of old here on this very Wiki (old enough to get familiar with most of the Wiki's rules and regulations, at the very least). In case you are wondering how I found you, I noticed your username underneath the "Recent Activity" section. Thus, I have decided to check you out. However, I see that you have been on this Wiki for about a year and a half now. And although you have received some messages on your talk page, you haven't received an official welcome as of yet! Well that's a major bummer! In that case, let me be the first to welcome you to the official Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki!

The purpose of this very message is to inform you about some activities you can participate in on this very Wiki, besides editing mainspace articles (i.e. Spell Economics, Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity, Lucciano, etc.). One of such activities includes editing your own userpage! By that, I mean include some information about yourself (i.e. your age, your gender, your location, etc.), just so the rest of us users can get a better idea of the kind of person you really are.

Another activity you can participate in on this very Wiki is messaging other users (not much of a surprise there, if you ask me)! To do so, simply go to another user's talk page, type in your message, and presto! You, my friend, have officially mastered the art of messaging other users!

However, when participating in this very activity, it is highly recommended that you:

  • Leave your message on another user's talk page, and not your own. That way, we will be notified that we have received a new message(s) on the Wiki.
  • Leave what is called your "signature" at the end of your message (being the following code: --~~~~). That way, we can easily keep track of which message is from which user.
    • Of course, you can customize your own signature, if you want. To do so, simply click on the drop-down menu bar in the upper-right-hand corner of the page (right where it says "MORE"), then scroll down to where it says "Preferences". Better yet, click here; it's much faster, and much easier to do. In either method, you can customize your signature from there, and you can do so in any way your heart desires. I suggest that you look at the coding for some sample customized signatures such as mine, just so you can get an idea. If you have any further questions concerning this very topic, don't hesitate to ask.
      • Before I forget, when customizing your signature, make sure the check box where it says "Custom signature" is checked off, or else your customized signature will not work properly.

I hope you have fun on the Wiki! :D --Yes, it's PSYCHID! He talks! He does stuff! 13:27, September 8, 2010 (UTC)

RE:Assault on GHQ[edit]

Remember that when your opponent declares an attack, the monster isn't immediately destroyed. You have to go through the Battle Step, Damage Step, and damage calculation before it's destroyed.

You can activate "Assault on GHQ" during the Battle Step. It'll resolve properly and everything. Afterwards, a Replay occurs, so your opponent gets to re-select the attack target. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 20:28, September 8, 2010 (UTC)

RE: Basic Ruling[edit]

You can place the monster in any Monster Card Zone you want. The same applies for Spell & Trap Card Zones as well. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 08:11, September 9, 2010 (UTC)

RE: One for One / Relinquished[edit]

It isn't possible. A Ritual monster works exactly like a Special Summon-only monster like Chaos Sorcerer. You cannot Special Summon it from the hand unless with its Summoning Condition (for the Ritual Monsters with their Ritual Spell Card).

After it is Summoned normally with its condition, then when it is sent to the Graveyard (or removed from play) you can Special Summon it with other effects like Monster Reborn or Return from the Different Dimension. If it is returned to the hand or deck then you have to Special Summon it again with its Condition.

ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 14:39, September 10, 2010 (UTC)

RE:De-fusion[edit]

Yep, you have to Summon the EXACT same five monsters. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 00:33, September 11, 2010 (UTC)

RE: Addition to the negate effect question[edit]

Yes, you can negate the effects of Dark World monsters with Doomcaliber Knight or Gladiator Beast War Chariot. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 07:56, March 31, 2011 (UTC)

RE: Activate / RE: Delta Crow - Anti Reverse[edit]

If it's a simple question like those, then it's probably better to ask them on the Ruling Queries Forum. More views, faster response most of the time and more people checking. and in times when ATEM is busy and leaves for a while; like now.
1) No, Solemn Judgment cannot negate monster effects.
If it was Divine Wrath instead, still No, they can only activate 1 more S/T AFTER the current chain has resolved (after Shi En negates the activation of the card)
2) Yes, but only if it was set 1 turn earlier (just like every other Trap Card)
Only from the hand. If you control 3, you can activate it during either player's turn.

Sorry that I wasn't here to answer your questions in time. I was really buzy those days -_- . Falzar thank you for answering the questions for me. :) ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 08:25, April 30, 2011 (UTC)
