Dark Xyz Rebellion Dragon trivia page

How come no effect relation unless it's intentional? How is it even supposed to be known it's intentional?

Long story short, so many cards with similar effects have been released that the similarities aren't even notable anymore (see the ATK-draining effects of Riryoku, Number 96: Dark Mist and Elemental HERO Gaia). Arc-V

I undid your edits because as I already mentioned, contractions are alright. Some of the Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL summaries still have contractions. And as for your tagging, the summaries are still fine as they are. User:Cheesedude (one of the admins here) was the person who wrote the last dozen and a half ZEXAL summaries and even he added contractions and the vast majority of what happened in the episode. I wrote the summaries of the episodes before that. I'd recommend talking to him because I don't like arguing about this. ChaosGallade (talk • contribs) 23:12, December 26, 2014 (UTC)

I guess contractions are alright, but removing the contractions would be an improvement. I have not looked at the ZEZAL summaries, but the Arc-V summaries have some problems and they are a bit too long. As I mentioned, talk to Cheesedude about this. For one, he thought that the summary I wrote up for the first episode was alright, but the minor edits were for parts I missed and English name changes. Contractions are fine. Contractions in card names are not. Always use "the effect of X", never "X's effect". See Yu-Gi-Oh!:Manual of style. There is no actual rule in regards to contractions in other cases, its best left up to the editor. So use them if you want. Or don't if you don't. It doesn't matter. Probably it is the problem from Sematic Media Wiki (SMW) that listed here. I'm not really into SMW and its code, but from what I have learned, the solution for this is to make a null edit (Edit, change nothing and publish) will force the page to refresh/purge and display properly, which is something you should do instead of reverting the last person's contribution. --Blackwings0605 (talk) 16:17, June 17, 2015 (UTC)

Response

Plenty of pages I've seen contain full deck lists. Many people find that useful because it gives them more of a visual on what an actual deck build may look like and how it can work. I've had multiple people online ask me to add my build to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia website as well as to YouTube (which I'll be working on when time better allows it in the future). The deck build is Yu-Gi-Oh!-related, in fact, it's also informative. Like I said, a lot of newer or "less-competitive" player (heck, even some competitive players or "veterans" of the game) tend to find it much easier to get an idea of the style of a deck they might want to try or cards they can put in the deck if they see a fully functioning, non-noob deck build to generate thoughts and ideas. That's why I had edited the page and listed my full build. There is absolutely no reason it can't be there. No rules state that a full deck build can't be listed and, like I stated previously, I've seen many full deck builds listed on this wikia.

Arc Section names

With a new arc starting in a few days, what are we going to be calling it, and are we going to rename the current arc, seeing as it looks like the Synchro Dimension season is spanning two arcs. I'd guess that the second Synchro arc would be something like Friendship Cup placements or whatever the term is for the placing round, but how about the first part? "Different Dimensions" was something that I picked on a whim after seeing an article on the Org, but it doesn't seem applicable to an arc. Name one monster that has the same blade-like wings that are coming directly from the head, are 3 tiered, same one eyed halo'ed head and same bell shaped bottom. Yes, i'm well aware of the rest of the Synthetic Fairies/Angels which is their designated archtype in canon, but when you look at the rest: Harvest Angel, Meltiel, Voltanis, Layard, the various heralds, not a signal one are remotely close to Artemis's appearance. Regarding the edit you made a while back, it was very incorrect. Magnas did not have a phrase that excluded "drawing" from its prevention effect. Please be more careful in the future when changing effect formatting, especially when X-Metaman is involved. Personally, I don't mind it that much unless someone consistently makes such edits, and mostly in the mainspace articles (e.g. character pages, episode pages, location pages). If it's in the card trivia sections, I generally clean it up or revert if it's a pointless trivia addition. If it's in the card tips sections, sometimes I deal with it and sometimes I don't, mostly because the Card Tip pages are a nightmare to keep track of and maintain in good state.
But for that 1 person, it seems like they're capable of good grammar, so I don't think what you asked of them was unreasonable. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 21:18, December 4, 2015 (UTC)

Sky Iris is pretty much a staple in Odd-Eyes and Magician Decks. Luster Pendulum and Master Pendulum are splashed in mainly for access to Ignister Prominence, Majester Paladin, and Dinoster Power, though the former is still useful for setting up the Extra Deck. Sign your comments with 4 tildes next time. The Recommended cards list only gives out suggestions on how to make decks. You don't have to include everything on that list; it's up to the player on which cards to include and how many of each card to include. The main reason why I keep reverting your edits is because you don't follow the Yu-Gi-Oh!:Manual of style. It gives me a headache trying to revert things back to the manual of style. Tori is one of the main characters of ZEXAL. That's noteworthy in my book. Even if what you "carry" is top secret, I can only tell you that all of it is false and you made everything up because TV Tokyo never even released that "secret information" in the first place. This wiki documents just about everything official about Yu-Gi-Oh, and what you say doesn't apply, since they didn't come from an official source. Red Dragon Archfiend Xyz/Pendulum

The focus of the deck should be Synchro Summoning. When there are commited RDA Xyz monsters, then there will possibly be wiggle room for it, but as it stands Xyz monsters just eat up space for better and more cohesive Synchros.

The same problem is presented with Pendulum Summoning for this Deck - it subtracts, rather substantially, from the Deck's overall effectiveness and cohesion.

A lot of my conclusions came from extensive play testing. Yes, Xyz is easier, but you can't Synchro off it. In a competitive atmosphere, it becomes less of a convenience and more of an outright liability.
