Welcome[edit]

Hi and welcome to the Yu-Gi-Oh! wiki! Thank you for your edit to the Burn! page.

Japanese names[edit]

Don't make up Japanese names for articles which have no official name. Unlike Zuzu's bracelet, none of the other bracelets received a name in the anime or a magazine. -- The Talk Goblin 20:35, November 26, 2015 (UTC)

Reversions[edit]

The reason why I reverted a large amount of your edits before this is because Cheesedude specified who exactly the opponents were. You took those specifications out. This is because the characters Dueled only a small amount of members of each faction, not the faction as a whole. ChaosGallade (talkcontribs) 09:19, January 18, 2016 (UTC)

"Unofficial members"[edit]

There's no such thing as an "unofficial Lancer." Neither Zuzu nor Sora have any of the benefits of being a Lancer without actually being named a Lancer. Lancers' benefits: modified Duel Disks with the ability to produce "Solid Vision with Mass" without the help of an ARC system, with the custom Action Field "Cross Over"; the card "Dimension Mover"; and custom Pendulum Monsters made for their use. At best, they're just allies to the Lancers' cause. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 21:36, January 26, 2016 (UTC)

While the section probably still shouldn't be re-added, it came about because the Executive Council decided to count Zuzu's win in the first round as one for the Lancers and Declan himself called her equal in skill to the Lancers. Does that warrant Trivia, maybe? Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 22:04, January 26, 2016 (UTC)
I think UK's rationale is fine here. As for the Council, that's a fair point, but who becomes a Lancer has nothing to do with the Council. Reiji is the one making these decisions, what the Council thinks is entirely irrelevant If you can find a way to integrate that point as trivia without simply adding it in a trivia section of its own, I have no objections. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 03:47, January 27, 2016 (UTC)

Summoning Methods: Lancers[edit]

Reinforcing what UK and Cheesedude have said; get on the talk page and start discussing reasonably. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 00:06, May 6, 2016 (UTC)

Talk page. Now. You didn't even give him a reason this time. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 03:25, September 17, 2016 (UTC)

Images[edit]

The infobox image is right-aligned. Images go right-left-right-left-etc except in very, very specific circumstances. Do not revert again. You need to stop reverting people (regardless of who they are) without providing an explanation as to why. If you have a specific argument as to WHY we should do something a certain way, you need to make that clear in edit summaries. Thanks, Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 09:08, May 24, 2016 (UTC)

Character biographies[edit]

When you're writing character biographies, please keep the tenses consistent. Past tense is highly preferred. ChaosGallade (talkcontribs) 15:24, May 30, 2016 (UTC)

Manual of Style[edit]

Follow the Yu-Gi-Oh!:Manual of style more carefully, please. More specifically, follow the quotation marks section of the link. ChaosGallade (talkcontribs) 05:27, May 31, 2016 (UTC)

My bad ChaosGallade, sometimes I can't word the summaries so I be trying the best I could to get it right. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 06:20, May 31, 2016 (UTC)

Talk Before Undo[edit]

If you have an issue with my edits on the Lancers article, take it up on the talk page first before you go undoing them. Otherwise, it'll end up blocked again. --Jackpo21 (talkcontribs) 03:23, July 5, 2016 (UTC)

The same can be said about a lot of things on this wikia, like the trivia or the dimension each Lancer came from. The summoning methods are a plot point to Arc-V and I don't appreciate you deleting them every chance you get. On another note, you never really argued your case about it until the page got blocked. --Jackpo21 (talkcontribs) 03:56, July 5, 2016 (UTC)
Which no one bothered to follow up on, leading to Cheesedude forgetting about the block until I reminded him. --Jackpo21 (talkcontribs) 23:45, July 5, 2016 (UTC)
  • Then maybe you can stop undoing my edits and talk it over in the talk page for once. --Jackpo21 (talkcontribs) 01:45, July 6, 2016 (UTC)
  • Well I hope your happy. The Lancers article was blocked again. --Jackpo21 (talkcontribs) 05:13, July 6, 2016 (UTC)

Manual of style[edit]

If you've been the one editing the ARC-V character articles, I suggest you follow the Yu-Gi-Oh!:Manual of style more carefully. For instance, it's not right to do this: "monster name's" effect. It's better to do this: The effect of "monster name". ChaosGallade (talkcontribs) 07:12, July 18, 2016 (UTC)

Seconding what Chaos said. English isn't an easy language, and I do appreciate that you add the information, but it is getting a little tiresome to clean up the grammar afterwards. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 03:08, August 3, 2016 (UTC)
Just another request for you to fix your grammar. Also, we're putting Episode 125 in the Heartland City arc; we don't split arcs in the middle of Duels and Episode 126 is where the story begins to change. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 05:43, October 10, 2016 (UTC)
I'd like to specify the thing you haven't been following the Manual of style. It's the card names and possessives part. You have to do this: the effect of "[card name]". You don't do this: "[card name]'s] effect.
More specifically, this rule: "It is best to avoid adding a possessive apostrophe s ('s) that is not part of the source to a name in quotation marks." ChaosGallade (talkcontribs) 01:21, March 27, 2017 (UTC)

Template capitalization[edit]

Please don't change the capitalization of template names when editing, as you did in this edit with {{anime}}. It makes literally no difference for the wiki software, and only clutters up the diff. Thanks! ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 05:05, September 28, 2016 (UTC)

Questions about the Awakened Page[edit]

Couple of things about the awakened page, 1. Sorry about the edit, did not know about the that they have made the 6th arc. 2. Would Yuto changing body count as awakened? 3. Reference 19 should be with episode 125 right, not 126?

Bdun4 (talkcontribs) 05:13, October 3, 2016 (UTC)

Changes?[edit]

Hey why did you undo all the changes i madeYugosynchropaladin (talkcontribs) 19:51, October 6, 2016 (UTC)yugosynchropaladin

Let's just wait for the episodes to air, the spoilers are making a mess on the pages. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 23:48, October 6, 2016 (UTC)

Duplicate files[edit]

DragonEmeperor, you uploaded two files exactly similar to two already existing files, but with a different (and better) name. If you want files to have another name, you just have to tag them with {{Rename}}, if they are in the same format of the ones you would upload (PNG, in this particular case). Do not re-upload them under a different name. Further more, if they are re-uploaded by you with a different format (JPG that you upload as PNG), at least tag the stray ones with {{Delete}}, please. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 22:01, October 10, 2016 (UTC)

My bad. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 00:47, October 11, 2016 (UTC)

Again, if you re-upload a JPG image as PNG, please tag the JPG one with {{Delete}}. And since anime images don't follow any naming policy, if you could pass the new path, it would be great. E.g., {{Delete|reason=File:Yuya & Yuto in control.png}}.
We really don't want to have copyrighted content floating around meaninglessly. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 11:27, October 31, 2016 (UTC)

Celina and Lulu[edit]

That image that you put on their pages with them cornering Yuya doesn't really feature them. May I suggest the shot with them both in it while the "Parasite Fusioners" cower in fear? It's fine to leave it on the Duel Academy page though. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 05:25, October 13, 2016 (UTC)

Undoing[edit]

I noticed you undoing edits without giving an explanation of said undoing. Please give your reasoning for undoing things in the future; edits summaries are there for a reason. ChaosGallade (talkcontribs) 20:05, October 16, 2016 (UTC)

Second warning on the above. In addition, you also removed the summary of the latest ARC-V episode when there was clearly nothing wrong with it. Please explain yourself. ChaosGallade (talkcontribs) 07:53, October 17, 2016 (UTC)
The summary was already put back and I decided to just fix it a little instead.DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 09:52, October 17, 2016 (UTC)

You did it again for Yusho's page and started a mini edit war with User:Lol-ionel!. Do NOT do that, please. Do not remove material before you replace it; do it at the same time, after all it's what I do when I clean up your mess. And if you had a problem with Loli's grammar, you are the LAST person to gripe about that. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 06:06, October 24, 2016 (UTC)

It's important that we give reasons when we undo edits. We need to be considerate that:
  • It's disheartening for someone to have their work rejected without explanation.
  • If your reverts are indeed correct, the other person needs to know what was wrong, so they don't just redo their edit.
  • If people are in disagreement over the content of a page, they need to give their reasons, in order for some resolution to be made.
I think that you have good intentions behind your undos and you're genuinely working to improve the pages, so I'd rather it not come to this. But you've made at least 15 unexplained reverts since your third prompt above. If you continue to undo without making an effort to add an explanation, you will be temporarily blocked from editing. -- Deltaneos (talk) 19:59, October 29, 2016 (UTC)
Just to voice that I also support this, because, DragonEmeperor, I've been keeping an eye on you for several months now; before the messages above, you only reverted with an explanation twice (as far as my records go, at least (not 100% accurate)). I always tried to avoid saying something regarding it, because, just like Deltaneos, I also think you don't have bad intentions. However, everytime you click on "undo", a notification saying "If you are undoing an edit that is not vandalism, explain the reason in the edit summary rather than using only the default message." appears and you never (bar a couple of times) respected it. So I'd also like to leave the note here that I want you to start making use of the edit summary, at least when you revert other people's edits. Thank you. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 20:08, October 29, 2016 (UTC)
And again, on the Duel Academy (ARC-V) page. Get to the talk page there and discuss with User:Superlogan7437 instead of undoing his edits without telling him why. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 03:36, October 31, 2016 (UTC)
Good. Thank you. Make sure that you keep it up please. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 04:12, October 31, 2016 (UTC)
You've made at least thirteen unexplained reverts in the past two weeks. You have been temporarily blocked from editing. -- Deltaneos (talk) 12:19, January 1, 2017 (UTC)

Ya did it again, and it's annoying people. Least you seem to have noticed, but the point shouldn't have had to be made in the first place. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 02:58, April 26, 2017 (UTC)

What are you talking about. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 04:50, April 26, 2017 (UTC)

You're undoing edits without leaving explanations. It took two instances of this - and a complaint from the other user - to get you to comply, which shouldn't have been necessary in the first place. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 06:52, April 26, 2017 (UTC)

I did explain this time. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 19:23, April 26, 2017 (UTC)

Yeah, but only on the third undo; you should have done so the first time that you reverted it. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 22:31, April 26, 2017 (UTC)

Oh for goodness sake; you'd think that you'd folow instruction over something that you've been blocked for. And for that matter, you were wrong this time, so that looks even worse. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 21:38, April 28, 2017 (UTC)

I thought we go by order. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 21:45, April 28, 2017 (UTC)

Mental State breaks[edit]

someone did not read episode 127 summary (Declan interrupts and relays his view of the story, that Leo was so immersed in his incomprehensible research that Henrietta's mental state started to break) (Clayton Carmine 23:55, October 16, 2016 (UTC))

Pages with no links[edit]

I suppose you went through all of those pages adding just one link to remove them from pages with no links, correct? You see, the point is not to remove them from there; the point is to clean them. And they still need that clean-up as much as they needed when they didn't have a link. The difference now is that they can't be easily (if at all) tracked. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 09:37, October 19, 2016 (UTC)

I honestly did try to do all of them, but it got tiring so yeah I did it the lazy way.DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 00:08, October 20, 2016 (UTC)

I'm looking forward to see more from the deck of leo and the awakening of zarc Yamamoto genryusei (talkcontribs) 22:30, October 30, 2016 (UTC)

BASTA!!! (means stop in Italy) (Lionel Head (talkcontribs) 17:39, November 7, 2016 (UTC))

Lol-ionel, your edits didn't have any source to back them up. No, we don't assume stuff. If an official source says Zarc will be voiced by A and Ray by B, then we add it here. Else, we don't. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 17:41, November 7, 2016 (UTC) —Last edited at 17:42, November 27, 2016 (UTC). Reason: Fix typo.

More undoing[edit]

Could you explain why you reverted this, please? Sure, I can see it doesn't have the best grammar, but some tweaks could put this into place. Why did you revert? And again, no explanation given. DragonEmeperor, this is not to be repeated. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 17:42, November 27, 2016 (UTC)

Some of the info was in the wrong section and was half done. 0123456789 The Great wasn't even trying to finish the relationships, that's why I reverted it so somebody could try to clean it up. DragonEmeperor 20:01, November 27, 2016 (UTC)
If it was in the wrong section, it means it would have to be moved to the correct section (or the section name being adapted (depending on the case)). If it was half-done, now it's zero-done. At least before, it had something that wasn't erroneous (if it was erroneous, that erroneous part should have been removed; the erroneous part only). Please don't do this again. People try to help; they may not have the time to build the prettiest of the texts, but they try to add some info. If it's not complete, you or anyone else can complete it; don't remove it entirely. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 20:12, November 27, 2016 (UTC)

Hi, I was wondering why you took down the pictures I added for Zuzu's page. That goes for every other picture I've posted as well. If you are going to take down something someone else posted you should at least give the person a heads up on why and tell him how he can fix whatever mistake he made. And what is this about edit summaries? Are they really necessary? Because I don't understand exactly what I should be typing?

Sign, ----AJ1989---- Denofa 08:55, December 31, 2016 (UTC)

There are a few problems with how you add pictures, but DragonEmeperor here hasn't mentioned this in his edit summaries like we've asked him to in the past. When placing images, they are generally arranged with one on the left, then one on the right, rinse and repeat; they generally aren't placed in the middle of paragraphs but at the top; blank sections aren't added for space (use clear sections if you have to; you should find some examples on certain ARC-V character pages), and sometimes there's too many images for the space. All of which are easily fixed with more than just undoing it. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 20:33, December 31, 2016 (UTC)

WHAT THE HECK PAL!? Why did you erase all the info I added for Leo Akaba and undo the separation I put down for the death list page? It makes it easier for others to see the difference between the manga & anime! As I said before, give someone a heads up before you undo their hard work! I hate to repeat what my mom says, but that's just common courtesy. Who do you think you are, do you even work for wiki or are you just a user like me? Denofa 06:28, January 1, 2017 (UTC)

Calm down mate. Goodness only knows why he did that; he's always been a bit too friendly with that undo button. He's been asked to give edit summaries before, and if you go to his user page you'll see that he's just an ordinary user.Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 06:38, January 1, 2017 (UTC)
Leo's info was a mess and jumbled all up with different events so I'll fix it later. And the deaths aren't hard to tell the difference. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 07:38, January 1, 2017 (UTC)

What on earth did you do to Jack's page and why? Now I've got to go and fix this mess... Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 06:50, January 16, 2017 (UTC)

Loli's getting irritated with your lack of leaving edit summaries when you undo (and yes, that includes your "stealthy" undoing). Best to make sure that you tell people why you do stuff, lest the admins step in again. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 22:28, March 10, 2017 (UTC)

Loli need to stay out of my business because you and me put the needed info for the bios, his looked copy & pasted. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 01:48, March 11, 2017 (UTC)
I know, you just need to let him know each time, okay? Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 01:56, March 11, 2017 (UTC)
I'll think about it. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 01:59, March 11, 2017 (UTC)

Drags, you did it again, and this time your edit was wrong. I suggest adjusting your preferences (wiki settings) to remind you to add an edit summary. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 05:12, March 20, 2017 (UTC)

What edit are you talking about? DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 05:17, March 20, 2017 (UTC)

One on Yuya's page (and thanks for doing the Rollerboots page itself, that one completely slipped my mind). This edit; [[1]].Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 05:22, March 20, 2017 (UTC)

I did that one on purpose in order to revert the deck back into the Duel Academy list (and no problem I been editing every character that appeared in the episode again). DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 05:26, March 20, 2017 (UTC)

Template[edit]

It's been agreed to be removed in favour of hardlinks. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 23:27, January 8, 2017 (UTC)

Bot edits[edit]

Stop your edits. When the edits have been made by a bot, that usually means they shouldn't be reverted. At least ask the account why they made those edits? And wait for their response, please. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 23:28, January 8, 2017 (UTC)

Sanokal just told me, but I want to know when did the discussion happened for the template. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 23:30, January 8, 2017 (UTC)

Forum:Template:Anime_and_Template:Manga_usage. A month and half with no objections. Regardless, read the discussion. Using a template to replace a basic wiki function like a pipe link is pointless. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 23:38, January 8, 2017 (UTC)

Edit War[edit]

You get to them before I do. That is a legitimate thing; I wait for the subs to come out; you don't and you thus get there before me (not grumping at you for THAT). Thus, by the time I get to them, you've usually added your poorly worded stuff, and it honestly demoralizes me every time I go through and correct it.

You say you like to go into detail, but you go into too MUCH detail that doesn't really describe the character, and is often just reactions that aren't very relevant.

As I've said before, I do appreciate that you add the info in the first place; if nothing else, it's a good base for me to fix. But when you replace what I've written with content that has...problems, it just presses my buttons and seems to be needless.

That's how I feel about it. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 07:43, January 16, 2017 (UTC)

I wait for the subs to come out as well, its just that I was working on Jack's bio when Denversapple put that weak crap up. I go into detail for the important parts of the Duels and discussions. Besides, most of todays episode only had Jack talking mostly at the beginning and near end of the Duel. He did more action than talking. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 07:55, January 16, 2017 (UTC)
Wait, did you mix my stuff up with his? (Not feeling insulted, just genuinely curious). Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 07:59, January 16, 2017 (UTC)
I just pasted my work over everything because I had finished and had seen stuff that was not needed like two pics. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 08:23, January 16, 2017 (UTC)
Ah, now I see the reasoning behind the initial confusion. I must have cleaned up Denversapple's stuff while you were writing your stuff (and I will admit that I didn't look at the images too closely, I'm at fault there). Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 08:29, January 16, 2017 (UTC)
It's weird how this always happen to us, I don't even know if I could this coincidences anymore. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 08:35, January 16, 2017 (UTC)
Well, we're usually the only people editing the pages so it is bound to happen sometimes. When I was doing a mass-edit on Yuya's page I had to keep track of other edits and merge them in. Anyway, we'll continue this tomorrow; I need to sleep. Blasted work... Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 08:48, January 16, 2017 (UTC)
Alright. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 08:52, January 16, 2017 (UTC)

ARC-V DVD covers[edit]

Can you explain why you tagged for deletion a JPG file with a resolution of 1,016 × 1,436 pixels, saying there is a PNG available, uploaded by yourself, but only with 85 × 120 pixels of resolution? Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 12:06, January 18, 2017 (UTC)

Also, you should upload them with the correct {{Fair use}} tag. Some of the JPG ones already had one, so please just copy and paste it. We try to change the images to one extension only (PNG); but if you're doing that by cutting the resolution to 1/12 times and by removing the fair use tag; I prefer you to not do it. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 12:09, January 18, 2017 (UTC)

Anime images[edit]

Since you re-upload several of ARC-V anime images, it would be great if you could add the following to them, when you upload them:

== Licensing ==
{{Fair use|tv-screenshot}}

[[Category:Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V Anime Images]]

Thanks. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 14:10, March 11, 2017 (UTC)

I did every image I uploaded and just finished. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 20:30, March 11, 2017 (UTC)
Alright, nice. Keep in mind this is just for ARC-V images. If you upload for other series, just use the respective category (you can check them on Category:Anime card images). If you upload images for other stuff, like video games and such, just use the correct parameter on {{Fair use}}. Thanks. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 21:26, March 11, 2017 (UTC)

Undoing without explanation[edit]

Special:Diff/3778102, Special:Diff/3777184, Special:Diff/3781419 (even though you then reverted again with explanation), Special:Diff/3784577, Special:Diff/3777183. None of the edits you reverted were with bad intentions. Once again, explain. You have been blocked twice; sure, a matter of days. But if I see you reverting without explanation, even if it's vandalism and you don't write "(vandalism)", I will block you for a bigger while. So please try to show more respect for other users. It's not good for the other users to have their work reverted without explanation, especially since they are trying to help. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 21:46, April 28, 2017 (UTC)

I didn't know the card's name took "Servant" out of it, that's why. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 21:48, April 28, 2017 (UTC)

Undoings[edit]

You're doing it again, without explanation. I don't care how obvious they are, you are going to state on every edit summary why you are reverting. Else, you're out of here. Enough is enough. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 11:23, July 1, 2017 (UTC)

Edits[edit]

I've noticed how you have been checking those walls of texts I add. I should be thanking you for that. Truth be told, I also do this sort of stuff on an another Wiki, although I don't have many proofreaders there. Perhaps you can share some advice on that? Energy X 09:47, August 7, 2017 (UTC)

I usually check for mistakes and try to slim down the summaries to make simpler. You could also ask Sanokal K-T for tips as well since he always do the samething but better. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 20:00, August 7, 2017 (UTC)

No explanation or heads up again[edit]

Hey! You deleted my pictures again! What's wrong with you? That was a good picture.

When is the eighteenth episode of Yugioh vrains gonna come out?

Aren't you an administrator?

GY[edit]

I've noticed a lot that GY is expanded to Graveyard. I thought we should use modern terminology, even anime cards use GY rather than Graveyard. Besides, Life Points is abbreviated to LP, is it not? Energy X 20:58, September 30, 2017 (UTC)

You could try it, I just read that it was abbreviated in card texts now starting from Starter Deck: Link Strike now. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 21:12, September 30, 2017 (UTC)

More unexplained reverts[edit]

You've undone over a hundred edits by one user with no explanation. I can understand that at least one other user gave them some explanation beforehand. Although they're not the only reverts you've been making without comment. And you're not replying when other users ask why you've reverted their edit. I'm sorry, I have to block again. -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:51, December 19, 2017 (UTC)

I couldn't explain on all of them because it was too many to do. My reason for doing it was because those duels still count even if they were only in a dream or flashback. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 23:41, December 19, 2017 (UTC)
I wasn't blocking you for just that incident. I acknowledge that an explanation was given by another user for those edits. Not all of Finaldraw's edits that you undid fell into that scope and you've been making numerous other reverts against other people, since you were last warned (e.g. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6). -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:54, December 19, 2017 (UTC)
On Ray's page, there's no room for anymore pictures and on Ai's page, we always have links to other pages for each new arc of the series. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 00:20, December 20, 2017 (UTC)
I understand that are reasons for each revert. But you need to communicate that to the person whose work is being undone. You can do that in the edit summary. Even in the scenario I mentioned earlier, where someone directly asked you why their edit was undone, you could have replied. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:27, December 20, 2017 (UTC)
There don't any room for all those pictures and it overcrowds the page. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 00:36, December 20, 2017 (UTC)
I got that from your last comment. You haven't been blocked because I disagree with the reverts. You're being blocked because you're not explaining it to the other person.
For example, a user makes an edit. You undo the edit. There is no way of him knowing why his work has been rejected. You're being unfair to the other person and doing it repeatedly. I've went into more detail before on why explaining reverts is important. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:53, December 20, 2017 (UTC)
Deltaneos, would you be able to explain your reason on a 100 reverts straight cause I couldn't. I wouldn't have done all of that if FinalDraw waited for someone to tell him their have a vote on it if those duels should count. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 01:04, December 20, 2017 (UTC)
If I may Drags, it's actually not too difficult, surprisingly. Your computer might be different, but Google Chrome on mine actually saves edit summaries. It might get funky when it comes to reverts, but you can just Copy/Paste them in even if that is the case. I'd (as I have before, and as I do myself) suggest changing your preferences to remind you to always leave an edit summary. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 01:17, December 20, 2017 (UTC)
If it's 100 reverts, but just the same few reasons for each one, then yes, you can just explain it on the user's talk page. Even if you revert all the edits without giving a summary, you've still given them an explanation. Like Sanokal, I'd probably copy-paste the summary or use the browser autocomplete. Although, if that makes for a massive difference in time, just the talk page message would suffice. -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:34, December 20, 2017 (UTC)
Okay, but what about Finaldraw. He's still causing problems and the other users who revert his edits are stuck in a edit war with him. 20:42, December 20, 2017 (UTC)

Cut it out[edit]

We need a talk. Please stop the annoying edit war, or you'll be blocked again, for a much longer period of time. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 01:07, December 30, 2017 (UTC)

https://discordapp.com/ use this url, click "Open Discord in your browser" in the center of the screen (or possibly top-right corner), enter any username of your choice, then click the arrow. I gave an explanation this time just like Deltaneos wanted me to. When the discussion about the duels on the Forum:Duel Records Edits come to a better conclusion, things will be different then. DragonEmeperor (talkcontribs) 01:13, December 30, 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for using the summary. Although having a summary is much better than leaving no explanation, it's not always justification to make a revert.
  • I would encourage you to use something more specific than "The former listing was fine". When someone revert, it's a given that they think the previous version is fine. You should really say why your version is preferred to the one you're undoing.
  • If there is an ongoing discussion, you should take part in the discussion, not try to force your version. 50+ reverts to non-spam/vandalism is considered edit warring. Please don't do that.

Given this entire fiasco, I'm going to be drafting up a policy page for duel records, attempting to make clear what should be done under all circumstances a duel has occurred, including taking over by other characters, etc. I will take the forum thread thus far into account as I construct it. You obviously then should not be editing duel records without further discussion. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 02:03, January 11, 2018 (UTC)
