Tips[edit]

Truthfully I agree with Deltaneos... why run a combo that really requires multiple cards when there is a simple 2 step alternative... if the whole deck is based on DMG and Warriors then maybe but let's try to make the tips as useful as possible without confusing the readers. --Pcouw 18:13, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

How I did it[edit]

Sorry for being so slow with my reply. How I archived your talk page was I first copied all of the information that needed to be archived to a word document. I then typed User talk:Evil Yugi /Archive1 and put into brackets and saved the talk page. I then clicked on the link to the page and pasted the information on the page. I am glad I was able to help you out. Big Boss 21:05, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Feel free to take a look at my userpage. Tell me what you think. Big Boss 01:08, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Exodia[edit]

You might have read the shared Divine Attribute monster effects. I have that effect for the reason that the god cards were supposed to be stronger than Exodia in the show. So with PDL I made it that if a person gathered Exodia in their hand when their opponent has an Egyptian God card on the field they will automatically lose. At the same time I gave Exodia Necross the effect that when it battles with a Divine Attribute monster it automatically destroys it. It has happened to me before numerous times. Big Boss 13:40, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

PDL & God Cards[edit]

PDL is a duelist league where various card effects have been altered. However as far as the Egyptian God cards go I feel that they get their invincibility from their attribute and not a card effect as quoted from my userpage:

"Divine Attribute Monsters Effects-This card may only be normal summoned by offering 3 monsters on your side of the field as a tribute. This card is not destroyed at any time by the effects of monster, spell, and trap cards. When this card is specifically designated as a target by a card controlled by your opponent negate the effect at the end of the turn. Control of this card cannot switch. If your opponent gathers the five pieces of Exodia in their hand they automatically lose."

I feel that this effect does apply in the TCG format because the Egyptian God cards are supposed to be stronger than Exodia you can easily assume that Exodia will either fail to work or cause an automatic loss. Not to mention Konami and Upper Deck are not specific as to the power of the Egyptian God cards. So yes I feel that it does work this way if you duel with god cards with the Konami format. In PDL to make sure no card is unstopable I altered the effects of Pyramid of Light and Exodia Necross to be able to stop the Egyptian God cards. If you have any questions about the Creator of Light Horus I will be glad to answer them. Big Boss 21:33, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

PDL is a separate thing completely from the TCG. Some of the things such as Divine Attribute monsters I feel that they get the majority of their invincibility from their attribute. That would explain why there are only 3 Divine Attribute monsters. Think of PDL as the game being reinvented. Most cards still have the same effect. There are some that have more power and others have less. Not to mention the fact that certain counterfeit cards (i.e. Dark master Exodia) are legal for play. Just read through all the information on my userpage for more understanding. Big Boss 13:32, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Guardian Kay'est[edit]

The real card says it cannot be selected as an attack target. I don't think this was changed in the anime because in Yugi's second duel with Rafael, Rafael had Guardian Kay'est on the field when Yugi ordered Amulet Dragon to destroy Guardian Eatos. If Guardian Kay'est could be attacked by the opponent, Yugi could have had Amulet Dragon destroy her instead. That meant that Yugi missed two opportunities to win both of his Duels with Rafael, which is highly unlikely. This is why I believe Guardian Kay'est did not change in the anime. Question[edit]

What does your real deck look like. What cards does your deck in real life contain? Big Boss 02:04, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

Twin-Bow Centaur[edit]

I went back and watched the episode when Dartz played Twin Bow Centaur and when he said a monster would be randomly chosen he meant of the two monsters he had already chosen (which would be equivelent of flipping a coin in the real world game). Right after he played Twin-Bow Centaur he said "Next I'll pick two monsters, one on my side of the field and one on yours". --70.63.199.248 17:53, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

Your Deck[edit]

Would you consider listing it on a sub page and putting a link to it on your userpage. I would like to see what cards you have in it. Big Boss 21:30, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

Card listings on character pages[edit]

Is it really nessasary to list cards that players gain control of by other card effects in duels? The cards don't really "belong" to them. --208.100.234.202 16:21, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

  • Yes it is because its supposed to list every card they used.

Talk Page[edit]

Ask any questions on the talk page on my sandbox for the time being. I am trying to get Nightmare 81 blocked. He is nothing but trouble. Big Boss 21:07, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

Decoyroid/Cyber Summon Blaster Lockdown[edit]

  • You need 3 specific monsters and "Cyber Summon Blaster" on the field. Also your opponent must have a monster that forces them to attack and they must not see what you are doing if they are to make the mistake of playing it. Deltaneos 15:10, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
  • "...there is a way to create a lock with one of these cards". Continue. Deltaneos 12:17, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Protecting Pages[edit]

To be able to protect a page you need to have your group membership updated.

If you want a page protected let me know. Deltaneos 12:30, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

  • I'm still not 100% sure about what I should or shouldn't protect. I think your sub-pages have to be subject to a larger scale of vandalism before I should protect them. Although I can't see any harm in blocking them from unregistered users, but I still need to look into this furture. Deltaneos 12:55, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Power of Chaos Yugi The Destiny[edit]

I'd be happy to help but we seriously need to do something about the size of the page first. It's currently the largest page on the wikia. You'd have to consider splitting it into seperate pages or just link to the site that has those card lists. Deltaneos 17:19, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

  • I've just realised this page already exists Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos: Yugi the Destiny. The two pages need to be merged. Deltaneos 17:41, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
    • It's not that easy. It involves deleting one page then moving the other. But in the process one pages edit history will be lost. Deltaneos 17:52, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
      • To delete a page see Protecting Pages (above). Deltaneos 18:05, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
        • No I can't update memberships. Deltaneos 18:13, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
        • I'm not authorised. Deltaneos 18:19, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Updating Membership[edit]

Listen, I'm not sure if you're quite ready to be upgraded. It's not a casual thing. So far only 8 users have been updated to sysop so far. You are required to use any new tools responsibly, (I'm still reluctant to use mine). You don't seem too knowledegable about a couple of aspects on editing. Given more experience TwoTailedFox will probably update your membership if and when he (possibly she IDK) feels you are ready. Deltaneos 18:42, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Ra[edit]

Personally I'm not sure what TwoTailedFox really wants... so I'll defer to him. The 3 pages were protected because I just go sick of looking and seeing a dozen updates on a page that really has little overall bearing on the game since they are illegal any ways. Please consult him about the three pages. thanks --Pcouw 17:58, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

PDL[edit]

Ask whatever you want. Big Boss 19:15, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

PDL was started by me and two of my best friends. We just got tired of losing to everyone else's chaos decks. Long story short we would lose in under 3 turns and everyone was getting sick of these 3 guys running Chaos Decks. What I did was I took a set of rules which I had made a couple of years ago when the game first came to America and modified them a little bit. After that their Chaos decks became obsolete to the Egyptian God cards. We destroyed them due to the fact that the god cards had a defined effect and the chaos monsters lost most of their power. Big Boss 20:28, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

People joined by signing a contract. PDL is currently not an online thing. All titles are defended in the real world by contracted members of PDL. To join you just sign a contract. Big Boss 15:20, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Setting something up like this online would take too much time for me. However there are territories to PDL. Keeping it real life based is easier for me. There is one in my town and there is also one upstate which I chartered. Big Boss 00:53, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

  • If I did come up with an online form of PDL I would need a lot of help because I have never done anything like this before. Big Boss 13:35, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Big Boss 0/SDY Deck[edit]

It may seem unbalanced but, that is the deck that I held the PDL Championship for 366 days with. Only about 15% of the deck has changed over 2 years. I did not lose once in a title match with this deck from September 23, 2005 til September 24, 2006. That does not mean that I had duels that ended in a draw with it. When a draw occurs with a title the Champion retains and a rematch is set up. If a Champion has 3 draws in a row the title becomes vacant. I only had 2 draws during my reign and they were 7 months apart. Big Boss 20:44, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

  • And keep the PDL questions coming. If there is anything about the titles or anything else just talk to me. Big Boss 20:52, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Removing info from Yugi Mutou[edit]

Haven't heard from you in a while. Had you exams or something? Well anyway I removed that info about season 4 from Yugi's page because it was pretty much randomly thrown in. There there was no info on what he had been doing for any of the seasons up to that, so rather than than giving the entire history of Yugi in the anime (way too tired to do that), it was just easier remove that piece. Deltaneos (talk contribs) 23:57, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

  • No Notes/Trivia sections should be avoided, any information should fit into the article as it is. Try including a brief summary of each season in the biography section, if that info is important mention it in the paragraph on season 4. Deltaneos 00:08, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Editing Duel Pages[edit]

Reply Read All[edit]

Sorry I have been busy as hell. And then Benoit died and for a while I was...well I do not think words can describe my mental condition at the time. Anyway That remove 3 cards is a special rule added by the PDL Rule Modifications. You can remove 3 cards from play without using a card to do it. You can remove a maximum of 3 cards with this effect. As far as Banisher of the Light no it does not limit how many cards he can remove from play. Keep your questions coming. Big Boss 03:03, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

As far as the banned card combinations goes they are each treated separately. So you can have Raigeki and Heavy Storm in the same deck but you cannot have Dark Hole, Lightning Vortex, or Harpie's Feather Duster in that deck. And Ra and Obelisk's effect you can use Obelisk's effect but you cannot enter your battle phase however, you may use The Winged Dragon of Ra's effect that turn. Big Boss 03:08, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi[edit]

It has been a while. How have you been doing? Big Boss 0 15:07, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

PDL will be having a mass unification match where the winner will get the KDL Undisputed Championship, PDL Championship, NWO Championship, both halves of the KDL Tag Team Championship, and the PDL Hardcore Championship. However to enter the duel you must have one of those titles. So far we have 5 champions (Because I have the KDL Undisputed and one half of the KDL Tag Team titles). One person will walk out with 6 titles and will be definitively the best in the PDL. Big Boss 0 21:15, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

I never had. I was never motivated to. Big Boss 0 22:11, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Other duellists cards used by Yugi + Yubel + Eatos[edit]

  • People make records of cards they own or deckslist os Decks they've made. Nobody ever makes a list of other people's cards that they've used after playing things like Brain Control or Exchange. They don't own them and they never incuded them as part of their Deck. We can allow the Seal of Oricalcos, since it was in Yugi's Dek when he duelled Yami Yugi, shortly after they lost to Raphael. He didn't necessarily own it, but he included it as part of his Deck at one stage.
  • As for Yubel, I don't really know I haven't really seen much of Yubel yet. But character articles tend to focus more on the Engish version, but mention things that are different in the Japanese, in brackets or the next sentance after a part that's diferent is said. If she is considered "deranged" in the Japanese, it could be that since the article was made before she appeared in the English, it's written in accordance to her Japanese personaity and nobody has gotten around to adjusting to suit the English version.
But still I don't really know much about Sason 3 of GX, so you might be better off asking someone else. --Deltaneos 17:31, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Sorry I didn't notice your last message. I think Eatos' very first appearance was on the boat when Raphael was given it as a present. Its card and spirit are also seen in the same episode during Raphael's flashbacks of while he was on the island. --Deltaneos 21:26, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Other Countries[edit]

  • You're kidding me? You seriously thought it was just Japan, the United States and nowhere else? Well there's Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Australia, New Zeland, the Philippines, Lithuania, Taiwan, Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Brazil, Mexico, Hungary, Romania, Republic of Moldova and maybe more. -- Deltaneos 15:30, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

Cursed Twin Dolls[edit]

  • The reason it was changed is here. If you have anything else to ask, ask Deus Ex Machina. He made the original change, not me. -- Deltaneos 16:05, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Cursed Twin Dolls[edit]

14 cards? When? In the duel, I only see 11 and 11.

Or, are you talking about how Bakura says that Yugi will have to send 14 cards? Bakura means the 11 monsters counted, plus Necro Wall, and two Necro Wall Tokens. Yugi then destroys the two tokens, and removes Silent Swordsman LV0 from play, bringing it back down to 11. --Deus Ex Machina 19:07, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

  • Oh, as in, are they removed from play? Well, Bakura says that Counterbalance only works when you have no Graveyard (not "no monster in your Graveyard" or anything), so I assumed Spells and Traps were also removed from play. I checked, and Aria from Beyond only works with cards that have been removed from play, and the only way Spirit Sword of Sealing could have been removed from play is by Cursed Twin Dolls. So I guess they are removed. --Deus Ex Machina 17:57, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Zane's 'Underworld' Deck[edit]

The information in this article is false. Zane has never played a 'roid monster throughout any of the four seasons of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. Please change it. 209.151.140.173 19:34, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

Well, I've looked on Janime's site for any indication that Zane has played 'roid monsters in his 'Underworld' Deck before Episode 164. Suffice it to say, there is nothing backing up your idea that he has.
I suggest you take a closer look at this: http://www.janime.info/Genex/cards_sho2.html. 209.151.140.173 18:26, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Trueman[edit]

Syrus and Alexis are both defeated on screen in episode 173 (though the duels are not shown, and skips directly to their defeat). --Pizzaman 10:21, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
Trueman has only ever been defeated by Jaden on screen at this current moment, and each time he loses, he just disappears in a twister of black, corrupted cards. I guess this is because Trueman isn't "real" in the true sense. --Pizzaman 16:03, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

White Alexis in Tag Force 2[edit]

I think she'll only be available in Free Duels once you've beaten Aster's Stury because she'll appear as regular Alexis and if you partner up with her you're basically partnering up with Alexis as you normally would except she's in her Society of Light uniform, she uses her Cyber Angel Deck instead of White Prima or White Prima Rev. Burningfoot 16:17, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

You asked me about my preference of White-oriented characters, so I guess this is a good section to reply. My favorite Society of Light character is Satorius himself. Love his extreme facial expression. --Pizzaman 14:37, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Ohh OK. In that case, my favorite has to be White Thunder. --Pizzaman 07:15, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
Not much reason. Love the character of Manjyome, and he just becomes much more interesting when he's "White". Loved the episode when the Ojyama's snap him out of the brain-washing too. --Pizzaman 07:48, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
  • About joining the SoL in Tag Force 2 when partnered with Sartorius, it's a load of rubbish. I am part way through filling Sartorius's 6th heart and I am not in the Society unfortunately. Whoever wrote that is lying/making things up. Billman on YouTube Photoshopped his videos and everyone thought it was possible to be in the Society of Light in TG2 but it's not. Joey's Decklists[edit]

You can tell Joey's (Yugi's and Kaiba's) decks change over the course of the series. This seemed to be the best way of splitting them. I thought it would be more informative. Do you like it? Other characters like Mai's obviously change as well, but I don't think we see enough of their decks to split them. -- Deltaneos 14:54, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Favour[edit]

Yeh, probably, what's the favour you want? Burningfoot 16:18, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Tag Force Evolution's the PS2 one isn't it? Erm. I can't answer that because I didn't get the game and if I did get it I wouldn't be able to play. (My sister took the PS2 when she moved out.) Try Google it, that works for most things. Burningfoot 16:43, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

I couldn't find anything, anyway, I thought it connected with the first Tag Force so it wouldn't be able to with the secnod. Sorry, if I'm no help. Burningfoot 15:44, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Over both my save files I've completed story mode with all page 1 characters and a couple of page 2 I just can't remeber who. And you? Burningfoot 15:47, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

"Yami Yugi doesn't have a page"[edit]

Aura Armor[edit]

The effect you have listed for Aura Armor is wrong. I watched the english and japanese episodes over to make sure. Aura Armor is NOT a continuous trap, it disappeared after activation. Then Jounouchi sacrificed it with Red-Eyes for Lord of the Red, resulting in the Player Token to disappear. Then Extinction Fist brought it back to the field, where he had to pay half his life points again. The way i wrote the effect it works. Davis Yuy 05:11, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Téa information and other Qs[edit]

All the information just added is from the manga, chapters 1 to 35. -- Deltaneos (talk) 19:15, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Téa
... you asked where I got the info, but say you put most of it up?
Alexis fan observation
It was an observation made by a fan. Comparing her to Raphael is of no significance.
Kaiba in 5D's
All we know is that KaibaCorp is still around. We don't know if Kaiba is still running it. The fact that the Kaiba Dome is still standing doesn't prove that he's still in charge of KaibaCorp. Looking back at what you said.
  • He hasn't been seen thus far in the series - is true.
  • however it can be inferred that he still runs Kaiba Corporation - is speculation and shouldn't be used.
  • as in episode 4, Jack takes Yusei to the apparently still-standing Kaibadome - is true, but isn't really to do with Kaiba himself... although I suppose it could be argued that it is.
  • unless it's a newer version exclusive to 5D's. - is speculation and shouldn't be used.
That just leaves the "He hasn't appeared in the series" part, which isn't worth mentioning on its own. But I dunno, maybe the fact that his work still exists has some degree of notability. (I think that's what you were trying to get at.) But then one could say, Duel Monsters exists in every series that Pegasus' isn't in, so those series should be mentioned on his page. I think it would be best if the fact that KaibaCorp is still around in 5D's is mentioned on the KaibaCorp page, rather than Seto Kaiba himself's. Same with the Kaiba Dome, if we had/when we have an article for it.

Oh you meant you added the manga chapter guide. Apologies. -- Deltaneos (talk) 15:14, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Genocide Dragon[edit]

Ummmm, there is a Card Maker wiki for stuff like this. Just a heads up from XD Master 21:53, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

  • Hey, no prob. :) XD Master 16:05, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
  • Well I have a lot of time on my hands. I only wish i had neighbors to Duel with since mom won't drive me to tourneys.
  • Like in a forum or Wi-Fi?
    • uhh, which one?
  • Is Saturday good? I'm going out in a few minutes.

Re: Timaeus[edit]

True, it should follow the same text patterns as if it was a real card. The effect given is its anime effect. The only way to make the effect seem more real life, without actually changing it, would be to list how it affects each monster. Saying it Summoned monsters from the Extra Deck is wrong, since it didn't actually do that. -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:48, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Reason[edit]

Because what you wrote was simply speculation. There's no proof that what your saying is right or wrong. So unless you can find some evidence that back up your claim,it's best that you not write such things.-PoirotH 17:51, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Cyberdark Deck[edit]

  • That is what the episode says. Ryo, while hospitalized, tells Sho that he was satisfied with his duel with Yubel, but that his deck kept on driving him to duel. When playing with Ryo's deck, Sho realizes that Ryo's heart problems weren't because of the electrodes but because of the deck. I know it doesn't explain well, but this is Yu-Gi-Oh we're talking about here. Danny Lilithborne 19:56, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

5D's character template[edit]

I mentioned it on the talk page a few days beforehand. Since nobody responded, I decided to try the changes and see if anybody agreed/disagreed. If people decide it was better beforehand, it should be easy to change it back. If you think the old way was better could you mention it on the talk page? -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:04, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Abe the Monkey Man[edit]

Would someone who knows the answer to this question please reply. When is Abe the Monkey Man's deck/cards shown? I've been re-watching the Grand Championship episodes over and over but I can't spot his cards. Perhaps they're shown very vaguely so I'm missing them? Anyway, please reply someone! (Robbiejennings 10:32, September 2, 2009 (UTC))

GX[edit]

Because there's no real proof, is there? We really shouldn't include speculation, no matter how good or logical it sounds, in articles. --Bluedog (Talk) 23:33, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

  • Well there's two ways to do it: You can click the "move" button at the top of your talk page and just move it to "User talk:Evil Yugi/Archive 1" or whatever you prefer, OR you can copy all of the stuff on this page, create a page called User talk:Evil Yugi/Archive 1 and just paste what you copied, then blank this page. --Bluedog (Talk) 23:49, October 6, 2009 (UTC)
