  • Dear Fife5000, or whatever it is you go by, I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "utilizing", but my assumption would be that you mean "what cards can I use this on" and my response would be...I think any trap card... Sorcerer of Dark Magic's effect is a Quick Effect, which is Spell Speed 2. The only trap cards I don't think it can negate are Counter Trap Cards, because they are Spell Speed 3. But then again I'm not exactly sure, but if I were you, I'd ask User:Deus Ex Machina because he is great with rulings. User:ATEMVEGETA is also very good with rulings from what I see. And I'm sorry, but no, Sorcerer of Dark Magic cannot be Special Summoned with Return from the Different Dimension, becuase it is a Nomi monster and can only be Special Summoned by the effect stated on the card. See you later. Dmaster (Talk Contribs Count) 04:21, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

To answer your question to Deus Ex about Last Warrior[edit]

Yes, all but the The Last Warrior from Another Planet would be destroyed by Last Warrior's effect~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 21:53, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

He's correct - the effect of "Five-Headed Dragon" only prevents it from being destroyed by battle. It does not prevent it from being destroyed by effects, such as the effect of "The Last Warrior from Another Planet". --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 02:25, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
"Five-Headed Dragon" is a Nomi monster - you can tell by the second sentence in its text. It can never be Special Summoned from the Graveyard, under any circumstance. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 14:30, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

RE: Card Rulings: Nomi/Semi-Nomi Monsters, Return from the Different Dimension, United We Stand/Megamorph[edit]

Nomi monsters can NEVER be Special Summoned from the Removed Zone. Only Semi-Nomi monsters can be Special Summoned from the Removed Zone, but only if they were properly Special Summoned beforehand.

Nomi monsters have Summoning Conditions which read, "This card cannot be Special Summoned except by...". Semi-Nomi monsters have Summoning Conditions which read, "This card can only be Special Summoned by...".

"Sorcerer of Dark Magic" is a Nomi monster, so it cannot be Special Summoned by "Dimension Fusion", under any circumstances. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 23:32, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

"Sorcerer of Dark Magic" has a Quick Effect, which is Spell Speed 2. As with all Spell Speed 2 effects, you can use it again Spell Speed 1 or 2 effects, but not against Spell Speed 3 ones. So, "Sorcerer of Dark Magic" can negate Normal/Continuous Trap Cards, but not Counter Trap Cards. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 20:31, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

RE: Card Rulings: Fusion Gate/Instant Fusion/Dimension Fusion/Future Fusion/Miracle Fusion/De-Fusion[edit]

Excuse me, but I'd personally like to ask you this question, please:

If my "Five-Headed Dragon" is Fusion-Summoned by using the 5 Dragon-Type Fusion Materials and Fusion Gate Field Spell Card on the Field, how then should I resolve the effect, when I play Quick-Play Spell Card De-Fusion afterwards in my Main Phase 2? (Gundam Professor 23:25, June 9, 2015 (UTC))

RE:My thoughts and tips upon Final Destiny Spell Card[edit]

I'm not really sure if there are any good tips. "Final Destiny" has been out a while, and it's never been used competitively. You have to give up six cards (what you discard + "Final Destiny" + whatever you control), so you have to destroy at least six of your opponent's cards, or else you're losing cards. It's very rare for your opponent to have six cards out, let alone six more cards than you do, so it's very rare that you can use "Final Destiny" effectively. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 21:10, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

Actually, I've already seen that "Final Destiny" can be activated from the Graveyard on my next Main Phase, when I've got the "Destiny HERO - Diamond Dude" on the "Field", please. (Gundam Professor 23:28, June 9, 2015 (UTC))

Shooting Quasar Dragon Card Tips Q&A[edit]

Dear Sir/Madam:

If I'd really like to use the Shooting Quasar Dragon's effect of 2 or more non-Tuner Synchro Monsters (Max. 4) for my continuous attacks of this card, then could you please tell me how to use the related card to that effect properly as such? For example, maybe Cost Down, Level Eater, or Level Conversion Lab? Thanks, Ciao! (Gundam Professor 18:55, June 16, 2015 (UTC))

Uh, hi. I'm not sure who to respond to (there's no user named Gundam Professor), but you left the message for me, so I guess you'll do?
I'm not sure. I'm more into rulings rather than gameplay, so I'm not the best person to ask. --Deus Ex Machina 20:07, June 16, 2015 (UTC)
