Nomenclature, Quotation Marks, and Other Dull Things

I've recently started doing this, but I'm not sure about it. I'm the only person who I know uses these rules.

1. Put quotes around the names of Spells/Traps (e.g. "Degenerate Circuit"). Do not put quotes around the names of Monster Cards (e.g. Susa Soldier).

2. When referring to a monster with a certain word in its name, use quotes. (Example: Cross Porter can offer itself as Tribute to Special Summon a "Neo-Spacian" monster from your hand.)

3. When referring to an archetype, do not use quotes. (Example: A Frog Deck does not depend on Extra Deck support.)

The rules are unnecessary, but they seem helpful in keeping pages accessible to new users. The idea is that it is easier to remember a card's class/effect if you remember how its name looked. I only apply these rules to pages on which I'm making other edits, or on new pages I make. What do you think?

That's why I continuous shove those '' '' on all those cards. Spell Card, Trap Card, and ever Monster Card, they are all names. So they all must have " " included. Dino-Guy is right about this. I might have been a bit too hasty on that part (explanation will be in the questions I'm answering). A lot of his edits are during a time where I'm not online, so I didn't really check them. The edits before the one where he said "Go away" seemed fine at the time. Just remember that Ruling pages must not be changed without an official ruling. Changes like that ruin the credit of this wikia and we still are recovering the damage from when Unregistered users were able to edit those pages. Concerning the forum discussion, OCG Riling #1 for Negate Attack: OCG RulingsEdit■This card targets the attacking monster.[1]. If there is no conflicting TCG ruling, use the OCG rulings. The concept is pretty easy. 1 - Can RND activate its effect? If/Yes THEN activate Effect1 and Effect2 If/No THEN unable to activate Effect1 and Effect2. No, but that's not the point. I'm saying that since PTD is related to Morphtronics via Double Tool C & D and LSD requires PTD to be Synchro Summoned, then LSD would basically be PTD's equivalent of SSD/RND, and thus would fall under archrelated since he doesn't support all of the Morphtronics, but just PTD, who itself is archrelated... Drill Synchron

Hello, I'm that guy who changed the drill synchron Chinese name about a week ago, and was reverted by you. If it's possible, can I see where you got this 'official' source? Mainly because I'm Taiwanese myself, and 同步演练 is actually a course of action in Chinese, in other words, a verb. where 同步 is the 'action' for synchronizing, and 演练 means 'drill' as in the training and practicing sense, as opposed to what Drill Synchron's drill really means, a drill that's meant to pierce stuff.

Seeing it's simplified chinese though I probably won't be surprised if the source is some site from Mainland China, seeing how some of their official stuff comes out of Google Translators as well. If anything, the translation I provided has been much more commonly used verbally by players in Taiwan, and I'm pretty sure China and Hong Kong as well since it's not that hard to see Drill Synchron has DRILLS on both hands. 118.167.179.67 (talk) 12:39, January 23, 2011 (UTC)

Temporal Machine God Metaion

The reason that Falzar moved the image to that name because he saw the image being posted in Temporal Machine God Metaion article so he thought it would be correct name. After I made this edit, Falzar also flag the image for deletion so I'm sure that he isn't confirmed it either.

Cool. My first deck is based around mostly DARK type monsters. It also focusses on summoning the Black Luster Soldier through the use of Different Dimension Capsule. I don't have many Effect Monsters in there because I have Sord of the Soul-Eater. I use said card for my Curse of Dragon, since I also have Lever Returner as well. My second deck is a Harpie deck, which is very annoying since I use Symbol of Heritage, Hysteric Party and Flying Kamikiri #1 to get my Harpie Ladies back from the graveyard. My first deck also uses Regulation of Tribe to lock down the opponent, when that fails I have a backup Swords of Revealing Light. So whaddya think?---- What comes up must come down.... If he's that desperate to seek attention (trolling even after being blocked, on 1 page that almost no one checks, and on that 1 page he can only edit), you do the exact opposite. You ignore him and chances are, he'll leave. Unless it gets out of hand and he spams it like hell regardless or swears. Then I'd prevent that. (And since he's still spamming on the same IP continuously, it means he has a Static IP, and not a Dynamic IP. (Static IPs are pretty much permanent IPs, Dynamic IPs change every day or ever time you connect, so I know if longer bans are necessary. GX manga

I know you worked on a few articles that weren't released in English a while back. Do you have a link to raw scans? I want to at least add the featured cards to the manga articles that lack them, and I'm having a lot of trouble finding scans for most of them.
