Fixing + Glitches[edit]

  • Nothing wrong with the Trade In Gallery, we just need a picture. --Deltaneos 19:56, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
    • The image will be uploaded... eventually. I didn't ignore you, I emailed you. --Deltaneos 20:13, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
    • A lot of these Galleries are incomplete, most of which were made by LeafGreen Ranger. --Deltaneos 20:17, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
      • So what did you mean by "I need your help"? As for The Shadow Who Controls the Dark, one image is for Booster 1 and the other is for Booster R1. --Deltaneos 22:10, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
    • The 'TheShadowWhoControlstheDark1-JP-C.jpg' image is one before we finalise the Booster Series Set In-house Set prefixes. 1 was the designation we used, whereupon we decided it would be too confusing, and went instead to B0X, where X is the number of the series, B01, B02, etc. The old images with just a number at the end should be deleted on sight, since they should not still be linked.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 22:22, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Sorry didn't notice your edit summary. OK I'll let you take charge from here. Just one thing though. If they don't already have a trivia page, move the Glitches page to the Trivia page, to preserve the edit history where possible. --Deltaneos 23:15, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
      • No I mean to actually click "move". --Deltaneos 23:23, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
        • I'm going now, could you just get rid of the glitches links from the card templates found here, when your done. --Deltaneos 23:29, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
          • Goodnight. --Deltaneos 23:33, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Gender issues[edit]

  • Original comment by User: Huajun Chen: "Now I have to ask you...are you a guy or girl?" I'll give you a hint: My first Hiita card likes to sleep on my cheek. Minhtam2448 23:58, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
    • "I'm a girl?" Quite the contrary, actually. Minhtam2448 00:04, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

????[edit]

  • ???? ???? --Deltaneos 12:20, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Dang, you're fast. --Deltaneos 12:25, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
      • Sarcastic. I thought I gave it away (that it was me) when I said "If I ever catch that guy". And what's the deal with your archives, you keep moving the info around? Um, shouldn't you be preparing your speech? --Deltaneos 12:31, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
        • Only say it because I care. If I were you I'd end up leaving it until last minute (don't take that as advice). --Deltaneos 12:39, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

Ka rei tsukai Hiita[edit]

  • Walk me through on how to do her card gallery please. Minhtam2448 19:53, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

...[edit]

  • What's the problem? --Deltaneos 22:04, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Oh damn, I feel so sorry. I can't imagine what it's like. How bad was it? Listen you're not pathetic or worthless. I wish I really coud give you the hug. --Deltaneos 22:17, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
      • I'm headin' now June. I just wish I could've done more about your speech. Goodnight and hopefully you'll feel better tomorrow. --Deltaneos 22:54, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

???[edit]

  • Incorrect Names, and already up there.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 22:37, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
    • ... please can you leave the articles for me? All you're doing is creating more work for me. I have all the cards and at least most of the images, so they'll be up eventually.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 22:45, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

Instant Fusion (Anime)[edit]

  • I think we have two different Instant Fusion pages because they have different Japanese names (瞬間融合 and 簡易融合). --Deltaneos 18:40, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
    • It wasn't my idea. --Deltaneos 18:56, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

Janime or Wikipedia + Take a look at this as soon as possible + Now You've Got Me Started (But it is well worth reading) + PDL[edit]

  • As far as this goes they both are correct. Interpretations differ. You must consider both into the equation. Big Boss 02:11, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Thank you. This is one thing that people must consider. Everything as far as cards and interpretations is not in black and white and there is not just one path. Especially with the god cards and Horakti. Big Boss 02:14, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
      • It's not just a children's card game. I am 18 and the oldest person that I have dueled was 62! Big Boss 02:19, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
        • You have some interesting friends but anyway if you want any more information on The Creator of Light look at my subpage User: Big Boss 0/Horus. Just to let you know the origional image was uploaded bu User: Isaac Aday. How he got it I still do not know. I feel that if I could get the cretificate of authenticity for this card it would be proof enough that this is the real deal. I need concrete evidince of these cards' existances. However I cannot contact the person who I got the card from so I have been trying to contact his little brother with no success so far. Big Boss 02:28, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
          • Also feel free to take a look at my userpage. Big Boss 02:39, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
            • The Pontiac Duelist League is a duelist league that I created in August of 2005. I created this league for the reason that several people in my town had chaos decks at one time and were quite unstoppable. The weaker duelists inculding myself agreed to modify a rule set that I have expiramented with in 2004. In February 2005 my best friend had captured the origional Pontiac Duel King Championship. We decided since the others had forgot he had won the title we would use it as our primary championship. They were upset with this and agreed to duel us by the new set of rules. On September 23, 2005 though I won the PDL Championship (we had renamed Pontiac Duel King Championship as the PDL championship and we recognized my friend who won it in February as the first champion) and they agreed to duel me. In short I had recently acquired a copy of The Creator of Light and finished my collection of the Egyptian God Cards. Not to mention the fact that the Chaos monsters had their effects weakened. I won by a landslide. After that many of the other weaker duelists in town began to join and for the first time theyu were winning duels. PDL is my biggest success and I held the title for 366 days before I finally lost it. That is pretty much the creation of PDL. Big Boss 02:55, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
              • Please leave any questions on my talk page. I am logging off for the night so I will answer them tomorrow. Big Boss 03:03, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
                • Caught me just before I logged off. No I just wrote it out from memory of what happened. I have a complete title history of our championships on my computer so that helps. And where it takes place it can take place anywhere there is a person willing to duel by the PDL rule set. Big Boss 03:06, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
                  • A nice reccomendation from me would be to read over my entire userpage from the Pontiac Duelist League section down and leave any and all questions on my usertalk page. Big Boss 21:40, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
                  • P.S. Thanks for talking to me.
                    • PDL is currently active in the real world only. However we did have our share of problems after the first year. Off the subject I still have had no luck what so ever reaching the brother of the person that I got my copy of The Creator of Light from. I doubt I will ever be able to reach him. Big Boss 00:22, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Favour[edit]

  • Heya, quick note before I pop off. Could you please restore the Anime card images you deleted? Even if we have TCG and/org OCG Images available, I'd like the Anime images in the Database. Thanks ^-^.TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 09:19, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Well, it was more a favour, really, seeing as I knew I'd be spending the next 12 hours away from a PC.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 00:57, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

I'm back + Bandai Other Card info[edit]

  • Sorry I was away for the weekend, but, All fixed. If you Summon Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast without tribute and Skill Drain is later activated, the ATK and DEF are no longer halved. If Skill Drain is later destroyed, the ATK and DEF still remain 2800/2000. As for Spear Cretin and Atomic Firefly, I'm pretty sure Skill Drain won't negate Atomic Firefly's effect since it activates in the Graveyard. As for Spear Cretin, I don't see why they made it a Flip Effect Monster, but the fact that it is would suggest an effect activates when it's flipped (but the rest of its effect suggests flipping it is meerly a requirement and no effect acivates at the time). The best thing to do would be to test it on a video game. --Deltaneos (talk contribs) 12:41, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Skill Drain does not negate Atomic Firefly's effect (But Divine Wrath can), and Spear Cretin only sets a condition when it's flipped, much like Last Will does upon activation.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 12:50, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
    • OK. Anything happen while I was gone? --Deltaneos 13:10, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
      • Good thinking, well done. --Deltaneos 13:20, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
        • Well Lady Chenalot (OK that sucked), the Bandai tables used only have Galleries, AnimeManga, Tips and Trivia and ones that have TCG/OCG counterparts used to link the TCG/OCG galleries, until something happened. --Deltaneos 13:38, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Starter Deck Jaden Yuki[edit]

Template Changes + Mirage Target + Goal + Archetype Templates[edit]

  • What's he mad about? I added optional parameters so if the card has Bandai and DDM counterparts you can add them to it. I also tried making name2 optional, but that resulted in a big mess. I also changed the DDM Monster template to link the TCG/OCG galleries, trivia, etc. -- Deltaneos 12:32, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Fox deleted it. I don't know why, you'd think when deleting something like that whoever's deleting would say why in the summary. --Deltaneos 12:52, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Didn't notice that before. -- Deltaneos 12:58, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
      • Yeah that's pretty messed-up, I'm not going to interfer with this one. --Deltaneos 13:38, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
        • Yes "W00t~". Hey I spellt "interfere" wrong. (Was that woot in a good way?) -- Deltaneos 13:50, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
          • Um... dfficult. Do I really need one. Starting out I just worked on tips and rulings, since then I've pretty much expanded to woking on everything. I suppose currently my main goal would be to finish all outstanding gallery, errata and rulings pages, then we could just update them accordingly when a new set comes out. -- Deltaneos 14:02, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
          • Dark Deal was made with Dark World in mind, it features Zure in the picture and is designed to trigger Dark World effects. Wouldn't that make it qualify for the template? --Deltaneos 14:50, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
            • Why are you removing the links to the Archetype pages from the titles of the templates? --Deltaneos 15:26, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
              • On the Dark World template for example, where it says "Dark World Cards" used to link to Dark World. --Deltaneos 15:34, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
                • White Knight, Armor, Alchemy Beasts and Valkyrie deserve templates but Water Dragon doesn't since it was just Water Dragon and the cards needed to summmon it. It together with Carbongeddon and its cards problably qualifies an archetype, but I don't know what it would be called. --Deltaneos 16:28, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
                  • Can't promise that. -- Deltaneos 17:18, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
                    • I'll be there for you, these five words I swear to you. That's good yea. -- Deltaneos 17:24, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
                      • And you're such a heartbreaker. -- Deltaneos 17:29, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

That's a lot of questions[edit]

  1. Nope, it's still present under Mirage Target.
  2. Nope, that is part of the Dungeon Dice Monsters series of articles, it's just yet to be completed.
  3. I'd say so, but add cards such as Stray Lambs to reinforce the point.
  4. I'm not entirely sure what you mean, please elaborate more.
  5. If something's amiss, you'll hear me having a hissy fit shortly ^^
  6. It's on my 'to-do' list ^^.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 17:34, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
    • OK, slight issue. Not all sets are TCG -and- OCG. For example, the Champion Packs, are TCG only. If in doubt, look at the card numbers. If you only see XXXX-ENXXX, then it's a TCG Set, if you only see XXXX-JPXXX, it's an OCG Set, and if you see both, you can add both categories.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 17:44, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Japanese Rulings + Card Tips + Valkyries' Template[edit]

  • They're not mentioned here. But I'd still say if you can interpret them well enough go ahead. --Deltaneos (talk contribs) 13:18, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
    • It's not best used with BEWD and BEUD and if it doesn't put equip spells at a disadvantage, just use them when you haven't Lord of D. out and if you do, you can still equip them to him. -- Deltaneos 13:48, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
      • I'm not mad at you. And why would I think you're a hypocrite? -- Deltaneos 15:13, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
        • I had to buy milk. Not really too bothered about your metanoia, if I still don't like the tips I'll problably end up deleting them again. -- Deltaneos 15:33, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
          • Does this mean you'll be restoring those Diamond Dude tips? -- Deltaneos 16:29, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
          • A lot of cards from the Valkyrie list were omitted when it was coverted to a template since their effects weren't related to Valkyrie Cards. Since they're all based off Richard Wagner's work should they be included? If so should a more universal title be used? I think they all fall into the category The Ring of the Nibelung. And how come Enchanted Sword Nothung avoided omission? -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) Deltaneos 20:13, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
            • Actually there is a lot of them and they are seperate from Valkyries, so shouldn't be included on the template. As far as grouping "Der Ring des Nibelungen" related cards Zigfried's deck is problably enough coverage for them. --Deltaneos 22:37, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

More Valkyries + Other Templates[edit]

  • Magician's Valkyria doesn't have "Valkyrie" in its card name. Other than Element Valkyrie, Cyber Valkyrie also has "Valkyrie" in its name. I've listed them as exceptions on Valkyrie support cards because they don't have "Walkure" 「ワルキューレ」 in their Japanese names. And PS I did get a Shrink. -- Deltaneos 09:37, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Why should I take that back? It's my point exactly, it doesn't have "Valkyrie" in its jap name. -- Deltaneos 12:21, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
      • How could you forget we had this, I only uploaded it a few hors ago. I choose to use the English one because I was thinking maybe it's better, we have a picture where it isn't equipped to something. I could be wrong though. -- Deltaneos 13:16, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
        • Good Morning. I didn't mean to snap it you. As for the templates, Alchemy Beasts yeah, not sure about the other two. I admit I made a kinda random one earlier, that I'm having second thoughts about. -- Deltaneos 13:30, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
          • Sorry if was unclear, I said yes to the Alchemy Beasts one. What was wrong with having Gradius and B.E.S. on the same template? Are there more than three cards in the Cyber Ogre series? --Deltaneos 13:39, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
            • Oops. Ok, I'm also wrong, alright? (but I have no excuse.) Cyber Orge and support seems too small to have a template. -- Deltaneos 13:49, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Rulings[edit]

  • I have no clue about that, but I removed it because if those rulings are not official, it should not be there anyway. Some of those "unofficial rulings" are not relevant to the card itself, so I felt it did not belong there. The work was also poorly written. Ask User:TwoTailedFox on what we should do about this. AnnaV 13:52, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
    • ok, but please do me a favor. check your spelling before you save any edits because I looked at your contributions and noticed you made a lot of spelling errors. for example, "unoffical" is spelled "unofficial".

E-Heros and Neo Spacians[edit]

  • Is overlapping cards really a problem? The Dark Magician, Archfiend, Toon, Legendary Dragons all have cards falling into a least two of the templates mentioned, we can't merge all of them. -- Deltaneos 15:51, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Goal[edit]

  • Considerin' I had my turn, can I ask what your goal is? -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 14:22, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Japanese Rulings[edit]

Images[edit]

Template Members + Possible Misnaming + Empty Deck Sections[edit]

  • As archetypes, is there any relationship between Macro Cosmos and Alchemy Beasts? The Alchemy template seems to be just relisting Amnael's deck. I understand that they're all themed on Alchemy similar to the Norse mythology template, but I've reverted that back to just Valkyrie. Essentially this boils down to are the templates to focus on theme or actual in-game relationships. -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 16:53, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Card Translations[edit]

Misplacing Rulings + Livejournal + Finding my Preferences[edit]

  • Could you be a tiny bit more careful with the Japanese rulings? You've mixed up some card names while switching to their TCG names, like you gave Winged Rhynos Rampaging Rhynos' rulings and Abyss Soldier Night Assailant's. -- Deltaneos 13:31, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
    • I don't use a Live Journal. Why do you ask? -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 13:57, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
      • Do you? --Deltaneos 14:17, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
        • And if one wanted to find it? -- Deltaneos 14:21, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
        • Do you have grey bar above the article name reading: Huajun Chen: My talk Preferences My watchlist My contributions? --Deltaneos 18:10, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
          • OK you're missing a large portion of the grey bar. Did you try pressing Ctrl and f and typing "preferences"? If that doesn't help have you tried logging out and back in? -- Deltaneos 18:39, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

LJ + Preferences[edit]

  • Yes. Sadly, I don't use it often, but that will change. IM = Instant Messenger, like MSN Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger or Yahoo Instant Messenger. Or ICQ, even.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 14:00, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Copy and paste this link into your browser. http://yugioh.wikia.com/index.php?title=Special:Preferences&useskin=monobook This will allow you to access your Preferences page under another skin. Tried it myself, and it works.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 19:33, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Are these accurate?[edit]

  • Where are these rulings coming from? They seem to differ from actual TCG rules. They say:
  1. Spirit Caller can't be flip summoned if you won't be able to use his effect. Looking at similar card rulings that shouldn't be true.
  2. Discarding for Blaze Accelerator is part of the effect. I think it's a cost.
  3. Before I changed Snake Rain it said you cannot activate it if you don't have 4 reptiles in your deck, again rulings for cards with similar effects would say you can but if you find you don't have them the effect disapears and your opponent can check your deck to confirm. --Deltaneos 20:04, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
    • So regarding the above examples could they be wrong or messed up in translation? Am I mistaken? Should I change them to suit the way I think they should be? If so am I to mark them as Japanese or Unofficial? Now that is alot of questions. You can take your time answering to let me clean-up the rest. -- Deltaneos 20:19, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
      • I've no problem with having Japanese Rulings sections, but could you cut down on your pace? I can't keep up. -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 20:41, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
        • I'd rather they were empty than messy. If most of the rulings are left messy that's now this wikias standard. You don't like stuff copied and pasted from Wikipedia, this situation is almost similar. Yeah I know they're not identical situations, but copying, pasting, not adding any of your own work. -- 20:53, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
          • Um yeah continue. I gotta go and won't be back 'till late tomorrow. -- Deltaneos 22:04, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
      • Please continue with the japanese rulings, they tend to sovle many unanswered questions for cards that UDE rulings do not address.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 21:27, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Idea[edit]

  • That's a good idea splitting the GX episode list into seasons on seperate pages. Also it worked on a page that might make the episode pages look more interesting: http://yugioh.wikia.com/index.php?title=Template:EpisodeInfobox
    • I redid the page for The Next King of Games. I hope you can help with the rest of the episodes. It would also be great if the future pages (in Japan) would be done like episode one. But i think we should move the future episodes to Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Episode 131...132..etc... Also thanks to what i have worked on, the pages for Yu-Gi-Oh should also be the same. Please tell me what you think about this.

Hourgalass of Time[edit]

NagNagNag + Finding Japanese artwork + Infernal Blasthound vs. Hell Gundog[edit]

Premature Burial and sarcasm + Side by side templates[edit]

  • Here's one. Are we including the different images on the trivia pages? And you don't to restore pages that were just vandalism edits before working on them, do you? -- Deltaneos 15:05, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Obviously we don't have a Premature Burial gallery, wait was that a hint? -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 15:12, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
      • *sigh* I was asking if you were hinting the Premature Burial gallery be created. I no longer think you were. -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 15:27, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
        • Sarcasm? Don't tell me we still have this problem. I'm doing the galleries and erratas for Enemy of Justice at the moment. It'll be a while before/if I get to Premature Burial. -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 15:33, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
        • Yes, this is my progress. Doesn't look too good when templates are unjustly proportionate in size. -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 22:29, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Question[edit]

  • Have you been up to anything here recently? Big Boss 14:04, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
    • I have still been trying to contact the brother of the guy who I got the card from but have failed. Big Boss 14:10, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Tracking Rulings + Erratas + Female Monster Card List[edit]

  • Are you adding these in any particular order? Just wondering if there's any way of tracing them other than flicking through your contributions? -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 14:49, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
    • Nearly all the rulings I added were done by the set. So it's easy for me to track the ones I've missed. -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 14:56, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
      • They're on my to-do-list. -- Deltaneos 15:01, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
      • Why can't you just do them properly the first time 'round? -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 16:01, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
        • You'll come back to them, like you did with the rulings? -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 16:05, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
          • You know upperdeck doesn't list all errata changes and if cards have been errata'd more than once (we have to record all changes), they only list the most recent. -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 16:11, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
            • I guess I may leave you, I'll check them for other changes when I get 'round to them. Y'know the original texts are on card pages, if you want to get them this time round. Also when you have the pages fully formatted, don't forget to fix the text on the card pages. -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 16:22, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
            • Guess I am being unneccessarily over cautious. Don't worry I really do have faith in you. (Yeah, I know, chivalry is not all my song boasts.) -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 16:38, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
