Tag Force Gifts[edit]

Why are you removing the Gift sections from Tag Force character pages? --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 19:06, October 29, 2015 (UTC)

I would assume he's only removing the blank sections (or at least that's all I've seen him remove), which is fair enough, I guess.
I would also like to ask why you are removing the deck names from the infobox. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 16:39, October 30, 2015 (UTC)
  • There is no use for Gift boxes if they are entirely empty, they're just cluttering the space for no purpose. I'm 99% certain that nobody will ever fill them in, as people are either not playing the games anymore, or if they are, as I do, they'll just spam Golden Sandwiches anyway.
  • Until I can find HOW to make the Deck section of infoboxes on Hidden by default (seriously, some characters have their Japanese name section on hidden by default, others on shown by default? There is no setting in the infoboxes to change this setting, at least where I looked there was none)... I will just remove those for the same reason as gifts: They're taking space for nothing, and in this particular case, they're making the whole page formatting looks like ass: You got a HUGE infobox 50% filled by Deck names (that are just at the end of the regular page, I'm also adding content to missing Decks in fact atm) which will delay the first paragraph by the same pixel amount. That's why I removed that info, it's not necessary if it's just below on the page, and it was making the pages clunky (unless there was a HUGE biography to fill in the giant blank on the left) Hyunckel (talkcontribs) 14:16, October 31, 2015 (UTC)
I've added a hide_video_game_decks parameter to the infobox. You can set this parameter to "true" to collapse the VG decks by default.
On a more general note, I would like to make it clear that under no circumstances should information be removed from pages just to improve their appearance or display; if there's a problem, you should point it out (on the page's talk page, or (if the problem is with a template such as {{Infobox character}}) on the template's talk page, or in the community discussion forum) with links as appropriate to example pages. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 17:06, October 31, 2015 (UTC)
lmao, there was 0 information since those were just empty boxes nobody ever filled in, and I would bet my left arm nobody will never fill in the future either.
Peace, I'm out, I wondered how long I would be able to add in missing information before some big boss would kick in to yell at me. Feel free to restore pages and add in missing content (I doubt you would since nobody has the patience to go through those games to get the missing date like I was doing). Bye. Deck names are information, even if we don't have the Decks' actual contents yet, and thus should not be removed just to improve a page's appearance.
As for information not being there or being added, there is no deadline for "completion" of the wiki, and we can afford to wait as long as it takes for someone to finally step up and add missing information. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 17:57, October 31, 2015 (UTC)
He informed you of several policies, that doesn't constitute yelling at you. We would welcome you here if you simply abide by the linked policies. You were adding good information, I would have liked to have seen more of it. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 18:05, October 31, 2015 (UTC)
