Badly deleted images

There's a quicker way of fixing the pages you've been flagging as "Image badly deleted". If you just add "?action=purge" to the end of the URL, the broken image should disappear. e.g. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/File:TidalDragonRulerof_Waterfalls-european_tin_contents.JPG?action=purge -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:36, August 29, 2013 (UTC)

Candidates for deletion

Hi Igor. I haven't said anything before, because often the things you tag really do need to be deleted, but you're kinda going overboard lately. While we strive to keep unused images to a minimum, please use keep in mind that some pages need development before images can be placed on them. If you see a good quality image that could potentially be used somewhere, don't tag it.

Why are forum pages, if they are renamed, considered being deleted? I didn't rename that one for a sneaky reason; for some reason, even though I had first named it as that, with a "+" in between, it didn't appear like that, and I thought it was just a glitch on my computer for the first post. Decks pages

We're attempting to move away from the "X's Decks" pages. Ideally, we're now splitting characters. Yuma Tsukumo, Yuma Tsukumo (manga), Yuma Tsukumo (Clash! Duel Carnival!), etc. Each of the Decks can be relocated to the main pages. So please do not revert any of those. Its been a slow process, so I understand why you didn't know. Hold on Igor. I finished fixing up all the cards from Jump Festa 2013 - Promotion Pack A. I haven't made a page for Pack B yet. For cards like "Oh Tokenbaum!" that say "B" in their Set ID, such as JF13-JPB10, those will belong to Jump Festa 2013 - Promotion Pack B. Foreign Language Card Galleries/Lists

Just to let you know, there's a handy-dandy feature allowing you to insert foreign card names without copy/pasting the actual name. {{Card name|Gagaga Magician|IT}} is an example. I've disabled the code in this case, but it would look like this: Mago Gagaga. As you can see, the Italian name has been automatically replaced there. Just replace "Gagaga Magician" with the English card name, and replace "IT" with the language you want. DE for German, KR for Korean, CH for Chinese, FR for French, PT for Portuguese, IT for Italian and SP for Spanish. ... I only just noticed you reverted an edit I made. Your edit is incorrect. All main JP booster packs will only have Ultimate Rares, and no Secret Rares. All main JA booster packs will only have Secret Rares, and no Ultimate Rares. When you put items in the queue and then "execute" the queue, be careful. If any items appear in the red box at the bottom, that means the images on that page(s) did NOT get moved. Anime and manga card lores

We haven't actually decided if we're removing the anime and manga lores from the main card pages yet. The pages function not only as pages for the TCG/OCG cards, but also "hub" articles for each card. If we do remove them, we'll be doing so alongside the appearances sections, and only after we have all the articles created and the links fixed to point to the new articles (which we may be able to bot). File usage updating

The anime card names are still spelled "CXyz", not "Chaos Xyz"

Just because it's read out loud as the words "Chaos Xyz" doesn't mean that's how the card name in the anime is spelled (if we could theoretically see the English lores), and the official site for anime cards confirms it. For comparison, look at the same site's article for "Obnoxious Celtic Guard"; the card's name in the anime is directly labeled "Obnoxious Celtic Guardian" and there's a special note indicating that its name is different between the anime and TCG. UE images

Hi Igor. If you're wondering why I've been adding "-Spell" to the file names of my recent uploads, take a closer look at the card lores. For certain early sets, there are actually two different versions of UE cards. Here is an example of one with a lore that uses "Magic Card", and another UE image of the same card from the same set that uses the term "Spell Card". Since we want to document both images but can't use the same file name, the version that uses "Spell" gets that added as an alt field. In the Japanese manga, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist and Yu-Gi-Oh! Millennium World are all one manga series, Yu-Gi-Oh!. I don't think we need to give the images different names depending on which subseries they came from. Igor, please don't add that parameter again without a good reason. That parameter (pt_database_id) doesn't exist at {{Infobox set}}, nor a Portuguese database exists.

Besides, I appreciate your intention, but, like I've told you before, there's no need to edit a page just to add empty parameters. But thanks for that, nonetheless.

Renaming card pages

Please don't move card pages anymore. It seems you're making mistakes with renaming. For example, "Dragon Lord Felgrand". I don't know why you felt confident that that was the card's full name. If you examined other cards, you'd see that there's room for another word. Plus, since the card's translated Japanese name is "Felgrand, the Great Divine Dragon", it would make sense that it may have the word "Divine" in it, right? Making the name "Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand"? Especially when you look at the similar card name, "Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand".
It's not only this, but also the "Metalfoe" archetype name. People placed a rename notice there, stating it might be either "Metalfoe" or "Metalfoes", but you decided to rename it to "Metalfoe". Why? If you read the product description more carefully, you would have read "Metalfoes Decks are fast and easy to build, giving new and experienced players a great starting off point for creating a new Deck.", which doesn't make the term plural. Plus, since the Japanese archetype name is read as "Metarufōze", it seems more likely that it is "Metalfoes".
It's too late now to rename the pages to those names (or move them back to their original names), because those are more guesses. But in the future, please let other people handle renaming cards, or at least be very sure when renaming the pages. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 00:57, June 6, 2016 (UTC)

OCG-TCG card image

Hi Igor, how's it going? Some changes were made to the {{OCG-TCG card image}} template, so now you just need to use the name parameter. Like so. For cards that have only one word on their name, like Greenkappa, you don't even need to use any parameters. Korean Extra Pack 2016

Hi Igor. Why are you adding entries for the Korean Extra Pack 2016 at the card articles? Do you have any source confirming they will be released there? By checking previous Extra Packs, the first dozens of cards are indeed the TCG-exclusive ones and they have the same spread in the Japanese and Korean editions. But, at this point, unless you have a source, you are assuming they will be the same, when there's nothing explicit saying they will be the same. So please don't add them, until it is confirmed. Also, please go through your edits and erase the Korean entries you added. This is not like in the TCG, they are not simultaneous releases. One example is "Dragoons of Draconia". I only create them when there is at least 2 images related to a page that aren't booster pack covers. If there's only 1 such image, I don't create a Miscellaneous Gallery; I just add the image to the main page. Hey Igor. Glad to see you using the template. But don't be too hasty when it comes to set galleries that still have JPG images; you can pass on those. This is because the queue won't be able to update them, if/when the need arises, so they'd have to be manually updated from JPG to PNG. So, low priority on those. Thanks!
