Fire and Ice?[edit]

I guess you mean a deck based around Frost and Flame Dragon? I actually have one on my page that uses Geminis. However, seeing as the Geminis have gotten such great new support, I suppose this deserves looking into again.

I think this may be what you are looking for. Runer5h 20:58, November 12, 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

Six Sams[edit]

Glad I could help with your deck :D if you want more help in future I will gladly help.

Blue-Eyes Chaos Dragon[edit]

I'm excellent at that "Huh-wha?" factor. I'll try my best to make a Chaos-Blue-Eyes deck, with plenty of tricks up its sleeve.--Akiza Izayoi 03:05, December 15, 2009 (UTC)

This is a basic outline for my idea of a Blue-Eyes/Chaos deck. I understand that it would be very expensive, but I made the deck as if you had no monatary limit.

Feel free to ask about any cards place in the deck!--Akiza Izayoi 02:10, December 16, 2009 (UTC)

Hmm... For starters, you don't need EVERY Synchro in the Extra deck. The main priorities are the Dragon Synchros, since they can provide fuel for Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and Five-Headed Dragon. Just try to keep those Dragon Synchros and Arcanite Magician. (White Stone of Legend + Chaos Sorcerer. Remove a monster on the field, Synchro Summon for Arcanite, Search a Blue-Eyes and destroy two more cards!)

With most of the Synchros gone, that should cut down a little on the cost. Most of the Spell Cards are pretty cheaply made, thanks to remakes. The only cost bug here would be Gold Sarcophagus, and even now it isn't too bad to aquire. You could replace it with more Staples, such as the Heavy Storm I didn't feel was necessary, though you may like it. I highly recommend keeping at least 1 Gold Sarcophagus though, it can grab needed Spells or Traps, or put a monster into the RFG zone to Summon instantly.

Monsters: Yes, here is where the cost comes in, sadly. I suppose you can go ahead and kick out Dark Armed Dragon, since he's a Nomi and can't be brought out through the decks many Special Summon effects. If you have one already though, keep him in. Now for the big money thief. Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon. It would slow the deck down considerably removing both, so try to get ahold of one, like Gold Sarc. Try replacing it with another DARK high level Dragon, to keep the balance. Maybe another Dark Horus, since even though he's an Ultra Rare, he should be easier to get ahold of. If you can't get one, just look through a list of DARK Dragons to find something you could afford. If you can't afford Plaguespreader Zombie, possibly put in a King of the Swamp to focus more on the King Dragun aspect. He's a decent substitute for REDMD, since he can bring out Dragons from the hand, and protect them. (Although he doesn't have Graveyard access like his big cousin.)

I hope this helped, you can always ask me for more help if needed.--Akiza Izayoi 19:54, December 16, 2009 (UTC)

PsychoToons[edit]

Obviously, one E-Tele, multiple Krebons, multiple Psy Commander. You may also want multiple Toon Mermaids for synchro summons. Runer5h 22:26, January 8, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

My notes: also consider things like Krebons, Grapple Blocker, and of couse Thought Ruler Archfiend and Magical Android, along with Toon Gemini Elf and Toon Masked Sorcerer, as well as the necessary Toon spell cards.

Montage'D a.k.a. Dragon Beatdown[edit]

Well, here it is, one of my favorite builds (sadly, the current format weakened it to a degree). If I were to describe this deck in a few words it would be "Raw Power". Nothing is more fun then slamming your opponent with a 7200 ATK monster. Now, there a few "inside tricks" in this deck but since it's been a while since I last played with this, I forgot most of it but here is one I love to use: As you know, Trident Dragion needs two cards in order to achieve maximum damage but getting those two cards can be a bother no? Wrong, this can be easy as pie if you're playing Birthright; that's right, simply use it and summon a BEWD and voila, you have the 2 cards needed for his effect. On a side note, there a few thing to consider; first) draw power: Advance Draw and cards like that can be of great help and it's fairly easy to stuff them inside; second) S/T destruction: I'm sure you noticed but there are no such cards in the deck and the reason for that is...(*drumrolls*) Side Deck! I like to focus my main deck on one strategy so its best attribute is maxed out and if it doesn't work, simply exchange the cards; A Wingbeat of Giant Dragon makes a pretty good side deck. Well, hope you like it, it's not really a top tier deck but it almost guarantees a swift victory against unprepared players. And yes, I AM being cocky about the deck :) P.S. Chaos Sorcerer is an option if you're willing to try it. EDIT: btw, I added a few decks in my profile, check them out if you want.Otakon7 (talkcontribs) 17:24, October 21, 2010 (UTC)

Re:[edit]

Thanks! Here's my current build: [1]

As for the Chimeratech - this Deck isn't very Synchro/Xyz heavy. As such, I have room for this fantastic card. Some Decks use Cyber Dragon and other Machines - and I can make Chimeratech using their own cards, gaining at least a +3 over them! In addition to that, I do have Machine-Type monsters (Black Salvo, Dekoichi, Wisel) in case they have a Cyber Dragon that I need to get rid of. It's awesome! BF2 Talk Deck Guides 18:03, January 24, 2012 (UTC)

Also, there are two "B"'s in BobaFett2. Please don't call me Bobba. It really bugs me. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 18:08, January 24, 2012 (UTC)

Housekeeping[edit]

Housekeeping stuff like reminding people of rules, and putting things into templates, would be good. Thanks. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:16, May 21, 2012 (UTC)

Lightray[edit]

That helps, I was going to make the template, but you posted yours, and that should let me edit it that much faster, anyway, I have to check DFF, and I'll get back to you about the Joker deck. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:26, May 24, 2012 (UTC)

I see what you meant by the Joker thing. I'll ask R5H. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:27, May 24, 2012 (UTC)

Gallery Project[edit]

A while back, me and Lappyzard finished updating the old Gallery system that was used on DFF when Tantara started the project.

We made the Galleries more efficient at directing people to the decks they wanted. For example(s):

  • If you want a deck based around a monster, such as Yubel, look in the Monster Gallery.
  • If you want an Archetype, such as Gladiator Beasts, look in the Archetype Gallery.
  • If you want a deck based around a specific Type or Attribute, such as Beast or FIRE, look in the Attribute and Type Gallery.
  • If you want a deck based around a specific Theme, such as Chaos or Ritual, look in the Theme Gallery.

However, as we were making this new system, we stopped updating the old galleries, and lots of decks got stuck and are still stuck in the Archives. This is actually quite a pest to me.

So, I have a question, Would you like to help us move the decks from Archive(s) 13 and up into the galleries?

It's pretty simple, and I'll give you some guidelines if you want to help. Reply back as soon as you can.

---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:51, May 24, 2012 (UTC)

  • Start in Archive 13, then move on to 14, 15, etc.
  • Each Archive has 64 Decks, if it has been completed.
  • Copy, not cut, each deck and then move it into it's appropriate gallery.
  • A deck must be placed into it's correct gallery, e.g., a deck based around Gusto, would go in the Archetype Gallery. Some decks can be posted in 2 different galleries, for example a deck based around Dark Magician can go in both the Monster Gallery and in the Attribute/Type Gallery.
The Archetype gallery is a little different in the fact that it has been divided into sub pages using the alphabet.
  • There is a limit of how many Template:Decklists can go on one page, which is 135. After this limit has been reached, decks will no longer appear as functioning templates, instead they will appear as Red decklist template links. If this occurs, a new page must be created and the templates must be moved there. Tell me if this occurs, and I'll handle it, and cease moving decks into the galleries should this happen.
  • If you make a major error when editing, try to undo the edit STAT.

That's about it. If you have question about where a specific deck goes, then ask. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:36, May 24, 2012 (UTC)

That's about it. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:16, May 25, 2012 (UTC)
Also, remember to add a header (== Continue Gallery From Here) to the Archive so you/I know where you stopped. And remmeber to add the {{ArchivePage}} template back to an archive after ALL the decks in that archive have been moved, and add a note to the Archive Notes section to inform me/Resk about it, telling us that you removed a template from a page. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:31, May 26, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah do both, but ff the builds were changed by 1 or 2 cards, then just the first one is good. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:16, May 30, 2012 (UTC)

Alright[edit]

So, I'm asking you to stop the gallery task for a little bit. I'd like to know which Archive you are in, and what deck you are on. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 21:39, June 1, 2012 (UTC)

Then, I'll give you some more information. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 21:39, June 1, 2012 (UTC)

Your in Archive 13, and you've only done 4 of the requests? That's a little slow, no offense.

I redid the "Continue From Here" marker, so below is the code for that.

  • When you are getting ready to go, mark your place by adding

(= Continue Gallery From Here =), ABOVE the current archived request header, that you want to leave off at.

---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 16:38, June 2, 2012 (UTC)

Anyway, me and Lappy scanned the Galleries for any errors, there were a few small ones, but we fixed them, so no big deal. Only comment is to work a little faster, maybe move 10 or so decks every day. That's the only thing, continue working as normal then. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 16:42, June 2, 2012 (UTC)
And remember that there is a Archive Notes section on the main DFF page, just make notes there, like what Archive you are in, and what deck you are on, that way I can monitor/move decks as well to speed up the process.

---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 16:43, June 2, 2012 (UTC)

I did a few decks, so I moved the Marker Header, I'll move the marker header every time I move decks to the galleries, so check. Also, please make sure that the deck you put into the galleries was made by a builder, and not just redone by the poster based on comments. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 21:50, June 2, 2012 (UTC)
Move on to Archive 14, Archive 13 is done. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:41, June 4, 2012 (UTC)

RE:[edit]

  • The Level 1 OTK deck can probably go in Stall.
  • The Desert of Obelisk deck can go in both Earth in the Attribute Gallery, and under Obelisk the Tormentor in the Monster Gallery. (If we have a Sphinx section, add it there too, but I think we don't.)

---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 15:16, June 4, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Round 2[edit]

  • The Dark Zorc thing, goes in Ritual in the Theme Gallery. Remove the one you posted in the DARK section. (I'll take care of this.)
  • You don't have to move the edited Neos deck. It should be fine. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 15:35, June 5, 2012 (UTC)
Just a notice, but when you add the Header to mark your place, just copy the = Continue From Here =, and then add it the the Archive. The point is to make a new section, and make all the deck requests subsections, much like what you would do on a talk page, like you make a main topic, then you add === Insert Words Here ===, to create a subsection, like you did on my talk page. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:30, June 5, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Round 3[edit]

  • The Sacred were renamed into the Constellar. So it should be in C, not S. Also, you copied a deck made by a poster and placed it into the Galleries, not the one that Resk made later on. That's a simple mistake, but it could lead to someone using that list, not getting results, and then not liking Decks for Free!, the best way to avoid this is to read and scan every single request in the archives as you go through. It was probably just a simple misread, so don't worry about it. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:31, June 6, 2012 (UTC)

Re to First point: Are you talking about Uria, Lord of Searing Flames and such? Because usually those would go in the Monster Gallery. Personally, I think it would help more if you could tell me where in the Archetype Gallery you made the new section, because there are many sub-pages. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 21:21, June 6, 2012 (UTC)

Never mind, I think I get what your saying, so let me get this straight:
  • You think we should have a Sacred Section, because not many people may have known the deck changed into the Constellar? Is that right? ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 21:22, June 6, 2012 (UTC)
Not a bad idea, but for now, I think it should be fine, we only have 1 Constellar deck, and that one is a Hybrid, so shouldn't be a problem. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 21:49, June 6, 2012 (UTC)

Start Archive 15[edit]

Start doing Archive 15, since I finished 14. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:59, June 6, 2012 (UTC)

Alert[edit]

Don't move any more decks from the Arhcives to the Galleries. An issues has arisen with the amount of Deck Templates that can be fit on any single wikia page. I'll fix this issue, and check the other Galleries for this issues, and then tell you to continue. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:00, June 6, 2012 (UTC)

Alright, I fixed the issue by creating and moving some of the decks in the previous Galleries.

N.B.

  • The Monster Gallery had reached it's maximum limit, and it would have exceeded that limit if only 1 more decklist had been moved into it. So now, all decks based around monsters will go to "Monster Gallery 2". Due note that Monster Gallery 2 is a "as you go" gallery, so create the sections for decks as you go along the Archives, in other words, we'll create the sections as we find a deck that needs it.
  • The Theme Gallery had reached it's maximum limit, and it was over that limit by 3 decklists. So now, all decks based around themes will go to "Theme Gallery 2". Due note that Theme Gallery 2 is a "as you go" gallery, so create the sections for decks as you go along the Archives, in other words, we'll create the sections as we find a deck that needs it.

Re: Monster & Theme Gallery 2[edit]

I've thought of doing that, and I probably will do that. I just did the Gallery 2 as a quick fix kinda thing, and I'll handle making sub-pages later, because for that, I need all work within the galleries to stop.

So, I'll take care of that issue probably today and tomorrow. So give yourself a 2 day break, and go do other stuff. After I get the sub-pages set up, I'll answer your questions. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 16:46, June 7, 2012 (UTC)
Just so you understand, leave the Gallery work for a while. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 16:46, June 7, 2012 (UTC)
Finished the above work. You may continue as normal. I also took care of the decks you had questions on. Just remember that any deck with Quasar and Quickdraw is usually a deck that aims to Synchro summon, so it goes in Theme under S. The resonators were added as an Archetype, so the Archfiend deck went there. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 18:22, June 7, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah you can continue tomorrow as normal. And I also did the Attribute and Type gallery, so hope that helps. One fact that comes out of this is that some letters are used to name the galleries sub-pages, even though there are no attributes or types that start with the letter J. But it's fine to do that. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 20:19, June 7, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Round 2[edit]

Make a new entry for the Ally of Justice. The others are fine. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 15:53, June 8, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Round 3[edit]

  • Verz - Fine
  • St. Joan - Fine
  • Sphinx - Into Earth
  • Banish - Into Wind-Up as well
  • Unicorn - Monster Gallery - Thunder Unicorn as well

---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:48, June 11, 2012 (UTC)

Round 4[edit]

  • Lord - Goes in Zombie.
  • HERO - Both in Blackwing and E-HERO.
  • Counter - Good, you can delete the older one if you want.
  • Make a entry in the Monster Gallery under M.
  • Make a new section for Geargia.

--I'll leave you to do that, and remove "to be galleried". ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:27, June 12, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Ideas[edit]

Most of the original deckbuilders are gone, and are inactive on wiki completely. Only 1-2 are still there (They're also very inactive), and they don't want to come back, if they did want to come back, they would have. As for the rotational thing, we don't have to do requests, we choose to do the requests, besides we all usually take a break a some point, I mean Lappy has a vacation almost every summer, so he's gone for a month. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:04, June 30, 2012 (UTC)

Re: BW Deck[edit]

Hmm, maybe try out Blackwing Xyz?. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 20:52, July 11, 2012 (UTC)

If you don't like that idea, just take one of the older Blackwing - Vayu the Emblem of Honor decks, and update them. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:38, July 13, 2012 (UTC)
It's not a big deal, although the link I gave you is kinda broken, so just go see BF2's deck. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:20, July 13, 2012 (UTC)

Can you gallery Archive 16?[edit]

I finished Archive 16 with 64 decks. Could you please move it to the galleries? Thanks! You were a BIG help when we had a bunch of old Archives, you really lifted a weight off my shoulders! Thanks again. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:39, August 9, 2012 (UTC)

No problem. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:43, August 9, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Round 1[edit]

  • Cannon Soldier should also go in the Monster Gallery.
  • Evol Header is fine.
  • Naturia is fine.
  • Rock Stun should go under Rock or Stun (There might be a Rock Stun category in themes).
  • The Pitfall deck can go in plants and anti-meta.

---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 18:22, August 10, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Round 1.1[edit]

  • Fine
  • Cyber usually goes into Machine under Type/Attribute and under Cyber Dragon in Monster.
  • Terra Firma also goes into Monster.
  • Neo-Galaxy is fine in Archetype.

---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 12:53, August 11, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Round 2[edit]

  • Djinn goes in both Gadget and Djinn (Create if non-existent in Archetype)
  • Madolche entry creation is fine.
  • Inca is an Archetype, right?
  • The Lightrays can all go in Lightsworn, unless there was a large focus on 1 or 2 Lightray monsters, and a lack of major Lightsworn support cards, such as Solar Recharge and Judgment Dragon.
  • Fudo and Banish decks are fine.
  • Mermail/Sphere deck action was fine.
  • Yuma deck goes in Theme gallery under Xyz.
  • Greed is fine.

---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:06, August 12, 2012 (UTC)

Inca is more like a theme, since they have no actual support cards. But truthfully, all Inca do is summon Moon Dragon and Sun Dragon. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:47, August 12, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Round 3[edit]

  • Macro Monarch should go into Theme Monarch, there should also be a theme for Macro.
  • Everything else is fine. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 20:59, August 12, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks, big help as always. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:07, August 13, 2012 (UTC)

I need another favor[edit]

Could you help me monitor Forum:Decks for Free!/Application Turn-In Center? I usually check that, but I have tendencies to forget about it for like a month and not see applications. So could you help me keep track of it? I'll do the same and monitor the page every other day, but if you could do it as well, we could avoid leaving people waiting for 15 days. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:24, August 15, 2012 (UTC)

Technically, I only worked at DFF for 2 summers, that's not really that long, but it gives me more time to help people who want to get better at deckbuilding, and it gives me time to work on some crazy deck ideas, as well as to host more Weekly Deck Competitions on the Deck Competition forum here on the wiki. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 19:38, August 19, 2012 (UTC)
Also, after August, if you still want to keep checking the Application center, then tell Lappyzard, although I'll still probably handle the Archive work every now and then. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:35, August 20, 2012 (UTC)

Re: AC[edit]

Thanks for keeping me posted. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 18:38, August 22, 2012 (UTC)

Hmm...Is this needed?[edit]

Forum: Institute for Proper Deck Building Skills, it's alot like the thing I did over the summer, with helping people get better. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 18:42, August 23, 2012 (UTC)

How much do you trust your Deck Building Skills?[edit]

After I left Decks for Free!, it kinda died. (That's totally what I didn't want...) I'm trying to restart it, but I need more deckbuilders, I've asked a few people, but they're making application decks atm. Would you like to give it a shot? ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:07, October 26, 2012 (UTC)

Tell you what, how about trying to give you 3 decks to make, they would progressively get harder as you go, but would start off easy. Try building me a deck based on Doom Dozer? He's pretty simple and easy to make a deck around, just think Bug World. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:19, October 26, 2012 (UTC)
I saw Delta's edit on it, so I assumed he had either fixed it, or deleted it. Either way, you can ask him about it. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:35, October 29, 2012 (UTC)
Here we go: Forum:Forum:My harpie deck help me, Delta did move it to the correct place, and sent it to the actual forum, without adding a redirect on the red link page. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:37, October 29, 2012 (UTC)

Naturia Doom Dozer Rating[edit]

Let's break down what I have to say into 4 parts: Monsters, Spells, Traps, and Extra Deck.

Monsters:

  • Pinch Hopper - This guy doesn't give you advantage, only a monster to replace itself from your hand, that's really only useful for defense. If you needed defense, you should've run Dimensional Prison or Bottomless Trap Hole, heck even Forbidden Lance would have been cool!
  • Naturia Fruitfly - This guy is pretty much useless, he's not really worth running, to say the least.
  • Armored Bee - Only 1 Bee? This guy is a great answer to most big monsters, and is able to kill things with up to 3200 ATK, that's toe to toe with a lot of monsters used. At least 2 of him should have been run.

Spells:

  • Burial from a Different Dimension - This might work, and you can definitely justify it, but usually this type of deck thrives off of control and big pushes, so it might not be the best.
  • Burden of the Mighty - This card was great before Xyz monsters came out, but now it might not get the job done with out King Tiger Wanghu. Maybe a lone The Seal of Orichalcos, would have rocked more?

Traps:

  • Too many Compulsory Evacuation Device! 3 is really high for that card, yes it has high utility, but 3 is overkill, 2 if just right, and that would have let you run another Torrential Tribute.

Extra Deck:

  • I assumed the generic stuff for this, so it's not a big deal.

Now what would I do to improve it?

Edits: Subtractions:

  • -2 Pinch Hopper
  • -1 Naturia Butterfly
  • -2 Naturia Fruitfly
  • -2 Burden of the Mighty
  • -1 Burial from a Different Dimension (Ever thought about how creepy this card actual is?)
  • -1 Comp. Evac. Device

Total = - 9 cards

Additions:

  • + 1 Doom Dozer (Big Beater)
  • + 1 Aztekipede, the Worm Warrior (Easy to summon beater, can be replaced with a Koa'ki Meiru Beetle)
  • + 1 Naturia Dragonfly (Needed to replace lost Fruitflies, and can block big attackers like Gear Gigant X)
  • + 2 Armored Bee (An answer to big blockers on the other side of the field)
  • + 2 Forbidden Lance (Gives battle advantage at times and blocks from normal traps like Torrential Tribute)
  • + 1 Heavy Storm (Even with Verdant, this card can be a huge advantage giver)
  • + 1 The Seal of Orichalcos (The 500+ ATK is nothing to laugh about and turns most of our measly 1700-1900 ATK monsters get up to 2000-2400 ATK, that's nothing to really scoff about, plus it makes Doom Dozer even bigger)
  • + 1 Torrential Tribute (For a more balanced trap line-up)

Total: + 10 cards

Overall, the deck wasn't bad, just a use of cards that may not be that great.

Ask questions if you have any, the best way to learn is to ask, think, and ask again. Also, if you hadn't noticed, I've kinda changed my mood on adding random cards, I've seen more opinions about adding in one-off stuff like The Seal of Orichalcos, and I'm definitely open to it.

---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:05, October 31, 2012 (UTC)

Response:

  • Howling can be good, but seeing as it only had a few targets, I left it out. It can work as deck thinning and defense, but after that, I didn't see too much utility in it.
  • Naturia Fruitfly - His ATK lowering is questionable. 300 might seem like a lot, but I just think that half a monster's ATK is better than maybe 300-900 less attack, it might be enough to kill things, but how long is Fruitfy gonna last? Also, this guy is level 3, while most of your main go-to insects are Level 4, so he isn't that amazing with Verdant Sanctuary. I just love the Bee more as it's more searchable with Verdant Sanctuary, cuts down really big threats to minimal ones, and has a respectable 1600 ATK, while Fly is Level 3 in a deck filled with mostly Level 4 insects, has a measly 800 ATK, and can't always get the job done. But the biggest reason was Verdant Sanctuary and how well it blended with it.

I don't really think I need to respond to the other points. Anyway, I suggest you go join DN, it's free and worthwhile as it helps test the deck out. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:50, October 31, 2012 (UTC)

Anyway, do you have any more questions, or do you want another deck to build? ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 16:41, November 3, 2012 (UTC)

2nd Deck[edit]

Now this time should be more fun, or at least that's the plan. Build me a deck around Attack the Moon!. The backrow is a huge thing this format, and having a card that can act like 3-4 MSTs on its own is probably a big deal, and yes Attack the Moon can act like 3 MSTs on its own, you just have to use the right rocks. Anyway, the deck can't be Rock Stun, it can use a couple of the Koa'ki, but not be dedicated Rock Stun.

P.S. There are 2 very special cards that make Attack the Moon extremely viable...just think of Yuma Tsukumo. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 21:43, November 4, 2012 (UTC)

Deck Review[edit]

Not bad, not bad at all, but some things I take issue with.

Monsters[edit]

  • Gogogo Giant - Maybe running 1 more of him could have helped? I mean Giant can block at least 1 attack, and Golem just loves him to death.
  • Giant Soldier of Stone - He's alright, but maybe just 1-2 of him? Most rocks have high defense anyway.
  • Chronomaly Colossal Head - Pretty damn useful to say the least, you get to apply pressure later and attack on your turn, totally cool, but I thought 3 was too much, I think 2 would have been great.
  • Koa'ki Meiru Wal - I may have been too hard with the no Rock Stun thing, so my bad. Next time you can probably run a couple of Koa'ki Meiru Guardian or Sandman to go with him. But it's probably my bad on that one.
  • Revival Golem - I kinda like him at 3...but maybe you could have dropped 1 of him for 2 Dust Knight? You really benefit from stuffing your graveyard. (Although you have Bombardment, so it might be fine...)

Spells[edit]

  • Look fine. Nothing to really say.

Traps[edit]

  • Again, they look fine. Maybe another Call of the Haunted for consistency purposes but not bad.

Overall[edit]

I liked the deck, and I can't see reasons to be unhappy. Overall the deck looks great, but it seems a little hard to warp my head around, but hey if it worked for you on DN, then who cares?

    • You did use Dueling Network, right?**

Alright then, whenever you're finished, just show me the final version. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:55, November 10, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Fire Fist and X-Saber[edit]

Truthfully, no. The only Beast-Warrior is XX-Saber Boggart Knight, and as great as he is, he's only run at 1 or 2. ----Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:05, February 15, 2013 (UTC)

Re:[edit]

He's definitely covered for the inconsistency the deck has with some awkward hands, although I feel like Ninjas will always have awkward hands, no matter what you do. I think his version of the deck is worth playing around with, but I'm not really a Ninja fan. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:47, March 26, 2013 (UTC)

Re:[edit]

It's not a bad idea at all, and if anything, it's revival effect is perfect for getting back a used up Koa'ki and setting up for Block Golem later. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:05, May 21, 2013 (UTC)

Re:[edit]

The article was nice, but it's stuff duelists on a more competitive level would care about. The only competitive I get into is DN, as I don't really duel too much in real life. Although, it's a nice article to remember when anyone wants a competitive deck for the remainder of the dueling season. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:10, June 7, 2013 (UTC)

Gallery help?[edit]

Think you could help me gallery Forum:Decks for Free!/Archive17? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:23, June 23, 2013 (UTC)

Don't worry about it then. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 19:52, June 24, 2013 (UTC)

Re:Ancient Gear Redox[edit]

Ace pretty much hit the nail on the head, it lacks utility and would really only serve as a means to destroy Geartown. You want to make use of the space you have in the main deck for cards you feel will have more uses than one, if I would of mixed the Ancient Gears with the Meklord Emperors though Hats would be good to destroy Geartown or the Meklord's field. Re: Question[edit]

Dire Wolf was there just as a problem solver for tough situations. You can use any Rank 4 you think will help you, I would suggest Maestroke if you can get it or even a Utopia. A lot of the time you won't really be using Rank 4's, and if you do it would be Blackship of Corn for those monsters that just wall you to no end.
