Images[edit]

The edit you did in the Nitro Warrior card gallery is a little confusing. Is necesary to make all the slots for the images from all the countries althought we haven't that images? Isn't it better (and more easy if anybody search there) that we only edit the images we got? Thanks --Elzam 16:49, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading... please follow the image policy when doing so from this point forward. A few of the images you uploaded are already on the site and duplication is not desired. thanks --Pcouw 16:49, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Nice work on the card galleries.. just a few comments... could you check the Card Gallery:7 Completed. I've made a few changes to it to comply with all card galleries.. please ensure that future ones have the same format.. especially the 「」 instead of () around Japanese names. thx--Pcouw 22:54, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Just a note.. the areas for cards don't have to be the same for English and Japanese cards. Make them look best for the cards contained in the section. 4 wide if there are 4, 7,8 or more. If there are 3 or 5,6 then do the width as 3. So if there are 4 English and 5 Japanese then the widths should be 4 for english and 3 for Japanese. thx --Pcouw 23:07, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Very nice images, I like the high quality of the scans. You also seem to be filling in a lot of holes in the imagebase. Bring on more of the same and I will be greatly pleased (Esp. the Japanese Scans). Thanks for your contributions. -- Glittersword 15:37, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

About the Galleries[edit]

Hello. Fine work on the galleries, but there is a minor edit I need you to follow in future for OCG Card Galleries.

You have been using this format:

Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins
「虹の古代都市-レインボー・ルイン」 (OCG)

This is the 'standard' format to follow:

Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins (OCG)
虹の古代都市-レインボー・ルイン

As you can see, this places the '(OCG)' just after the name, with the brackets removed from the Japanese characters. I realise some galleries have the former, but I am fixing them as I find them.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 23:16, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

Welcome[edit]

I would like to take the time to welcome you to yugioh wikia. It seems that you are doing very well and we all appreciate any positive contributions that you can make for us here. Big Boss 20:41, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Categorising Galleries[edit]

The new Gallery template will automatically add the category and file the entry in the correct position. So there is no need to type the category at the bottom of the page. That's all thanks. -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 17:49, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Substitute Gallery template + problems[edit]

  • I don't why it's doing that, but if you click "edit" again, then "Show preview" (you don't need to make any changes), then "Save page", it'll fix them. -- Deltaneos 10:38, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Other language cards + other Gallery additions[edit]

We don't need to update the update the Card Galleries just yet, but If you want to add other languages sections, it'd be great. In the future we'll get around to adding cards from all the languages to the articles. See Template:EffectMonsterTable. So yeah, basically you can add them if you want, but it's not something that urgently needs to be done. -- Deltaneos 21:45, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

  • I don't know if you'll be bothered, but we're allowing sections for anime and manga images in the card galleries. They both go in the one section, but the amount of sections they get is still pending, if you want to give your thoughts. We can add video game images too, but I don't think we'll be getting too excited about that. -- Deltaneos 01:39, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Updating for new sets[edit]

Thanks for updating the Card Galleries for those recent sets. You've made my life alot easier. -- Deltaneos 16:33, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

Imposter[edit]

Back here, if you were refering to this, notice it wasn't TwoTailedFox that left that message. -- Deltaneos 15:25, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

  • Be sure to check the History of your Talk each time you receive an illogical message. All guys with Agent and 81 in their names are vandals. If you see that message again, it's sure that he's a vandal (he always leave that message on most of pages). --Dragon Slayer 16:12, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

Generic card table[edit]

Just a note on the new table: The OCG/TCG (Only/Unreleased) categories are automatically included now, so you can remove them from the bottom of the page. And the trad parameter is only needed when it's different from adv -- Deltaneos 15:19, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Crazy[edit]

Ok we're gone crazy. We keep ending up starting from scratch. We're going back to the old style Galleries, using Template:Gallery1, Template:Gallery2, Template:Gallery3 etc. The part of the titles that read (OCG) and (TCG) have to take language into account now. so they should be (TCG - English), (TCG - German), (OCG - Japanese) etc. And if you're scaning images .png is the prefered extension to the save and upload them as instead of .jpg. Ideally all images are going to be replaced with scans saved as pngs and it's pointless just saving jpgs as png and reuploading. TwoTailedFox insists on the changes, but I just want to smack his head off a wall for this. Maybe it's better you don't upload images for a while until we see how things unfold or we'll switch back. -- Deltaneos 02:20, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

  • My bad, I was mixing up with something else. We're not going to use Template:Gallery1 etc. -- Deltaneos 22:05, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
    • Yeah continue the new way. Don't worry about the anime/manga/video cards. They're not as definate and we're after changing the image naming policy for anime cards. I guess the best thing to do is either add them to the galleries as we find or go through the Unused files some time. -- Deltaneos 23:46, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Galleries[edit]

We now use {{Navigation}} instead of {{Galleries}}, {{Trivia}}, etc for all of the Card sub-pages.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 18:39, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

      • You were still using {{Galleries}} at the top.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 18:44, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
      • All the ones you did I've already corrected. We now use proper namespaces, so we no longer have a need to explicitly state a name, unless the card has '#' in it's card name.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 18:50, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Your opinion is important, please give your support or opposition about the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia joining the Wikia ACG here. --Dragon Slayer 06:44, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

Galleries[edit]

They should go in this order:

  • TCG
    • English
    • French
    • German
    • Italian
    • Portuguese
    • Spanish
  • OCG (Asian-English)
  • OCG
    • Japanese
    • Korean
  • Dungeon Dice Monsters
  • Anime
  • Manga
  • Video Games

Galleries[edit]

  • I apologize for deleting your hard work, but ask I already mentioned to Fox and Del: please hold off creating Anime card gallery pages for a month or so. Thank you. -- Huajun Chen 23:12, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
    • Can you place the set number & rarity above the Set instead of below? Cheers.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 15:54, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

Booster cards[edit]

I noticed you got some pictures of cards from the "Booster" sets. Do you happen to have Phantom Ghost, Fungi of the Musk, or Tentacle Plant? Rodtheanimegod4ever 23:42, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Asian-English font[edit]

Are you able to replicate the name on Image:Blue-EyesWhiteDragonKA-AE-C.jpg, for the errata page? I've used the wrong font on that page. Are you able to fix it? -- Deltaneos 15:20, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

  • Scroll down the Asian-English section, there's a name change noted there. Blue- Eyes White Dragon is entered as the errata'd name. But the text style seemd slightly different than the name on the card. I noticed you fixed similar problems on other pages (example). -- Deltaneos 15:30, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Regarding those problems, are they still happening? I think they're fixed now. Refresh a page by clicking Show preview if the problem is still there. -- Deltaneos 18:21, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Article Gallery[edit]

Hopefully, it will be permenant. I'm going to roll it out for cards that have a decent number of cards to show.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 16:03, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

SDRL-EN0010[edit]

Yeah it's a misprint. We'll problably impliment it into the errata page somehow.
Also you can your signature as Vincento if you want, that why the nickname section is there. -- Deltaneos 01:38, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

North American, European and Australian[edit]

Yeah the North American-English (ie. the cards with no language id) and the European-English (the ones with E as their language id) and Australian-English (ones with A as their language id) go in seperate sections than the "Standard" English (EN).
The layout order is:

  • (TCG - English)
  • (TCG - North American-English)
  • (TCG - European-English)
  • Then any other TCG languages in alphabetical order.
  • (OCG - Japanese)
  • (OCG - Asian-English)
  • Any other OCG languages in alphabetical order.

Regarding the Australian-English, they got LOB-A, SDY-A and SDK-A. Their images are to be named similar to the European. For example Blue-EyesWhiteDragonSDKA-EN-UR -- Deltaneos 14:28, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I got tests too. I really need to take a break to study. Good luck. -- Deltaneos 16:10, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

n/a[edit]

That is correct. Where no number is present, only the rarity is to be displayed.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 20:27, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Merry Christmas[edit]

Merry Christmas Vincento. -- Deltaneos 17:39, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

Other language links[edit]

Sorry, was away for a while. The other language links on wikipedia link to seperate wikis (de.wikipedia, es.wikipedia etc.). If we were to do something similar... currently the only other language Yu-Gi-Oh! wikis hosted at wikia is the Spanish one. (which is pretty poor at the moment, only having a LOB article, which is in English). Other than that, there's a Japanese and a German site, which aren't hosted by wikia. It might be possibe, to add the links to them anyway. I'll ask Dantman, if I catch him on IRC. -- Deltaneos 23:40, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Ok, it doesn't look like we can add interlanguage links for external wiki (ie. the German and Japanese). And it hardly seems worth adding the Spanish one. -- Deltaneos 20:11, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Rather than depend on other wikis we can do this with our own internal material. See Cyber End Dragon to see how we can do it. (Wait a second after you open the page, those language links at the top take a second to appear). But there may be issues for users who don't have Java script enabled, so we won't be putting it into massve use just yet. -- Deltaneos 17:53, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Welcome Back and Distinguishing between different English versions[edit]

First off, welcome back. It's good to have you around.

Okay, the difference between English and North American-English... I take it you live in North America?

I take it you understand which ones are European. Ones with E as their language id, like LOB-E000.

I originally thought we'd just be calling all English cards with no language id North-American English and ones with EN as their language id English, but it's more complicated than that.

North American-English are English cards that are either North American only or also have a Worldwide release. Most cases this means,

  • North American-English are the ones with no language id in their set numbers (eg. LOB-000), while "Worldwide" English (or just English) are the ones with EN as the language id (eg LOB-EN000).
  • If there is no European or Worldwide version. For example AST-000, it's classed as (Worldwide) English. (If The End of Anubis is ever re-released in the future with AST-EN000 as its set number, AST-000 would be changed to North American, while AST-EN000 would be Worldwide.)

Now the tricky thing is there a few examples, where there are English cards with no language id that only North America got eg. DDS-001. It's usually easier for Europeans to identify these since they didn't get them. These shouldn't cause you too many probems since there's only a small amount of them and their usually just Promo cards.

If this proves way too confusing, leaving all English cards as just "English" is perfectly okay. Most cases you come across you'll only be dealing with the first bullet point above. If you've doubts don't hesitate to ask. -- Deltaneos 16:52, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Hmm.. language charts? Are you able to find all the other language card names? Spanish names keeps letting down from fully completing Galleries. -- Deltaneos 17:14, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
Muchas gracias, amigo. -- Deltaneos 16:27, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Set Redirects[edit]

Please do not just link Set Numbers to cards. If we do that, we won't have an idea of what are actually present on card articles, and which are not.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 01:35, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

  • I know you want to complete Sets, but we need to actually add the redirects to the cards to make them "complete". The redirects just serve as reminders of what we've added to a card article, and what we haven't.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 01:40, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Card Lists[edit]

Yep, perfect. -- Deltaneos 18:50, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Admin[edit]

Yey, well done, you're an admin now. -- Deltaneos 20:21, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Page[edit]

I only moved it to User:Look234/Look234 Lang Chart. It's good practice to not use the main Namespace for testing things, nor to use articles with your name in it. No problem with the page, just the location. ^^--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 21:23, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

WHOOOO![edit]

Hey don't forget that uploads don't have spaces... please reupload the ones you just did since they all have spaces in the name... I'm going to delete them. --Pcouw 05:12, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Remember also that the Names are CARDNAME + SET INITIALS + -EN- + RARITY... thanks--Pcouw 05:14, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Bold and Non-Roman Characters[edit]

Please don't use <Big> with Korean, Chinese, Arabic or Japanese, since some browsers don't like bold non-roman characters.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 23:39, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Wikific[edit]

I see that you asked Delta about that page, me and User:Evil Yugi are admins there. --Dragon Slayer (Contribs Count) 13:51, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

  • The site was started by AzAdmin, she later gave administrative powers to me and Evil Yugi by my request. The site is something like a Yu-Gi-Oh! Fanfiction Wiki, with terms and help for fanfic writers. I'm ignorant about that, so I help in the tasks assigned by Evil Yugi. --Dragon Slayer (Contribs Count) 18:15, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Galleries[edit]

Heya. Galleries now use Set Card Galleries as their pefix, instead of Set Gallery or Set Card Gallery.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 19:26, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Image Filenames[edit]

  • The newer format was designed to conincide with a shift to higher quality PNG images, with the eventual goal that we;d upload higher quality images as we went on. Newer filename uploads are much preferred, but you can, if you wish, upload newer and older filenames (Since the older ones can be deleted later on).--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 00:19, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

More Galleries[edit]

Excellent work. Do you think you could finish up the Duelist Legacy galleries? You just sort of... stopped there. Rodtheanimegod4ever 02:54, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

  • Could you try making DL4? Sorry if I'm harping, but it has our only image of Needle Ball and I'd like to see him in a gallery. Rodtheanimegod4ever 01:05, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

Moving a page[edit]

For Set Card Galleries under the wrong name like Set Gallery:Rise of Destiny (TCG-EN). Just click move at the top of the page to rename it, rather than recreate the page under the new title. Thanks. - Deltaneos (talk) 21:19, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Images[edit]

Generally, we planned this to be a update to run alongside the normal galleries. We'd planned to have the new filenames for scanned, high-quality images, as opposed to some of the smaller, low-quality images we have currently. If you want to rename the existing images, feel free, but create the galleries as additional ones to the current ones for the moment.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 19:15, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

Editions[edit]

Yes Please. Also, (Replica for OCG Cards of that nature would be grand, too.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 18:52, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Galleries Mix-up[edit]

Heya. Just to clarify, we use Set Card Galleries, not Set Card Gallery for Set Galleries now... and we don't use the platform in the Promotional Card Article title.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 19:58, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Our "Second" database. We're using it to track Lores an details for each every individual card. It will be run along-side the current one, which is used just to track the latest information/image per class. The second one is to individually list every card and every edition.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 22:32, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Just some clarification[edit]

Sorry, my fault on this one. I was trying to standardise the filenames we use currently, and LOBEN-EN just seems a little clunky. I was hoping to use LOB-NA for the original LOB-XXX cards, LOB-EU or LOB-E for LOB-EXXX and LOB-EN for LOB-ENXXX cards, etc. What do you think?--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 18:53, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

  • Thanks, if you could start now, that'd be awesome. LOB-NA, LOB-EU, LOB-AU and LOB-EN should help to keep the filenames consistent.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 21:47, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Multi language links[edit]

Hi, I just noticed your message on Fox's talk page. Those names aren't intentionally linked. There's a problem with an extension we're using at the moment. (It seems to have accidentally been disabled) So a lot of things are going to appear messed up, until the techs fix it. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:42, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

    • Ooh, thanks for reminding me. For ease, they should use -EN, -NA should ideally be for early TCG Booster Packs only.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 20:24, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Korean Sets[edit]

Thanks, I'd completely missed those releases.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 00:34, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

TP4[edit]

EN. NA is only for sets that had separate NA and EU releases, such as TP1.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 21:54, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

I wish I'd said this before you uploaded the images, but I think we should use NA for them. Otherwise cards numbered AST-XXX, DCR-XXX etc. would be uploaded with EN in the filename. And it's likely they'll be reprinted as AST-ENXXX and DCR-ENXXX making all the current filenames incorrect. Then we'd have to reupload all of them as NA and upload the EN versions over them. If we do change over, I'll help you rename the TP4 images (unless you beat me to it). -- Deltaneos (talk) 22:38, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

PP01[edit]

Use Premium Pack 1 (OCG).--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 22:55, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

Obelisk in VJMP[edit]

    • That said, that would make Divine and Divine-Beast 100% Legal Attributes for Monster Cards, a precedent in itself. I would also mean dropping the blue colour scheme from the Obelisk the Tormentor page.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 23:56, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
      • To save space a "x 2" at the bottom should suffice just as well.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 00:11, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
        • Also, if you can find more clear images of Korean cards, it would be greatly appreciated.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 00:52, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Gallery[edit]

Good work on preparing a gallery menu for the OCG promos; we've been needing that. One correction: the Image you uploaded for Playstation Duel Monsters 1 (IIRC, thet would be Duelist of the Roses) was Monster Capsule Breed & Battle, which is something different. Rodtheanimegod4ever 03:52, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

  • Got it all sorted out now. You uploaded the first one as the second one, and Monster Capsule as the first. The second is actually for PS2, and Monster Capsule still needs to be put in, but I don't want to mess with your table. Could you do that? Rodtheanimegod4ever 04:16, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
    • I'll take a crack at it. Upload 'em. One more question: How do you suppose you'll get images for things like Jump Fiestas? Rodtheanimegod4ever 04:18, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
      • And I just want to thank you for doing all this. Promos are so varied. I'll go looking for more pics now. Rodtheanimegod4ever 04:29, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
        • Uploaded some logos 'n' stuff to help you. Out of curiosity, when do you expect this to be done? Rodtheanimegod4ever 05:13, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Asian tournament promos[edit]

Yeah, Secret is the correct rarity for the "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". I'm not sure about the "Magician of Black Chaos". As for the renaming... is there any reason why Duel Monsters was dropped from the title of the Gallery and Set's article names? -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:21, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Oh, you've already started renaming the images. That's okay, I've no objections. -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:23, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

  • Sorry, I was wrong. How do I save a card as "CardNameSET-LN-R-ED.jpg"? You have got HOTMAIL's email?

Re: My recent uploads[edit]

The uploads I have done are incidental to a project I'm doing for myself. I'm building a database using a spreadsheet to keep track of my and my son's cards. I'll keep doing incidental uploads until I'm done my database. Once that is done, I plan on doing a little more thorough job on searching the web for images to upload. I will always show the source of the upload as well, so anybody can see where it came from. That way if it is an "illegal" upload, it can be readily determined to be so and therefore deleted. Also, please leave me a message if any is deleted so I won't accidentally reupload the same image again from the same source. Thx.

Good to have you around. I tend to be infrequent over the weekends. Other languages names and images need to be added for DP08, if you want to help with that. CRMS is being released soon, so same with that as well as adding missing set numbers and redirecting them. And Galleries would need updatin'. Community Portal[edit]

Hi. I wasn't sure who I should leave messages to so I left them under the Community Portal about duplicate files. I'll be scanning in my Starter Decks that I saw no image galleries for such as the Yugi and Kaiba Unlimited Editions. I'm still looking around for release dates and will update what I can find (need dates to keep my collection in chronological order). Starlite KNight 03:09, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

Card Galleries[edit]

Should I go through all the card galleries and input the various editions with the edition in parentheses between the set and set ID? Ie. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Card_Gallery:Ultimate_Offering doesn't list all the editions of the card. I can either do that as I go along or after I'm done what I'm working on.

Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon 1st Edition Update[edit]

Duplicate files of everything except for the following for file name change:

  • Blue-Eyes White Dragon
  • Hitotsu-Me Giant
  • Dark Magician
  • Nemuriko
  • Charubin the Fire Knight
  • Petit Dragon
  • Petit Angel
  • Kagemusha of the Blue Flame

Please delete the duplicates or change the upload info to the original uploaders. ^^ Oh, all the links to the duplicate files will have to be updated as well - galleries and such.

Could you transfer this? Thx --Astromath 02:26, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

1.14 upgrades[edit]

You've probably noticed Image got renamed File recently. We got also a few new nifty trick, you may be intereted in. It's now possible to move images, rather than delete and rename. When making galleries using <gallery>, the prefix Image: is no longer needed. (see) Don't worry about existing ontent beaking. Everything still functions the old way too. -- Deltaneos (talk) 13:27, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Delete[edit]

Welcome back[edit]

Hi Look. It's been nearly two years. Good to see you back. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:59, July 17, 2011 (UTC)

Long time no see, sorry it took so long to get back here. School had consumed me for a bit. But yeah looks like I'm back again. ^-^ If you need help on anything specifically or if there are any new changes I should know about please let me know. I'm going to pick up where I left off and finish up the galleries and find card images to fill them. Its good to be back. Look234 (talkcontribs) 13:19, July 23, 2011 (UTC)
Don't worry about the time gap. Your education and future deserve priorities.
There is at least one change that affects your line of edits. Hyphens (-) aren't used in the card name part of filenames anymore. e.g. "File:XXSaberFaultrollTU03-DE-R-UE.jpg" rather than "File:XX-SaberFaultrollTU03-DE-R-UE.jpg".
You seem to have picked up on using <div style="text-align:center"></div> instead of <center></center>. Both <center></center> and <p align="center"></p> are considered deprecated and we really shouldn't have been using them to start with. They're old and not properly supported in newer software. So anything involving style="...:center" is favoured.
Coincidentally, a few other users have also returned recently after years of absence, including TwoTailedFox, Huajun Chen and LeafGreen Ranger. And Deus Ex Machina after a few months. -- Deltaneos (talk) 13:46, July 23, 2011 (UTC)
Man, everyone decided to come back :D Very nice, well let me know if there is anything you need. Look234 (talkcontribs) 14:08, July 23, 2011 (UTC)
If I may butt in, since you mention working on Galleries (and since I so often see your name in the histories of Set Card Galleries =D ), let me point out that I've been working on a boilerplate with the ultimate goal of turning it into a template, to simplify and expedite working on Set Card Galleries - it's to the point now where basically all that's needed is to copy and paste two or three blocks of code, hand-modify one or two bits, and save; the code itself automatically detects all the necessary details and fills them in. I don't suppose you have any thoughts or suggestions for it?
And before I forget, welcome back, I'm Dinoguy1000 in the event you don't know/remember me (I've been around off-and-on since late 2007, and we may have participated in some of the same discussions, but I don't think we've ever actually had any dialog together). =) ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 17:12, July 23, 2011 (UTC)
Hey there, nice to finally get to chat with you. Yeah your idea for streamlining the galleries with your design in your boilerplate would be wonderful. A question I have is how does it read in the info like card name, rarity, alt. name, etc. for the gallery. Would it read it from an existing list or from the card's specific page it self? Keep me informed on your progress! ^-^ Look234 (talkcontribs) 17:44, July 23, 2011 (UTC)
Well, that's one of the parts you still have to fill in manually (I currently just copy around those lines when updating Galleries, and then make any necessary changes to them by hand). Unfortunately, from my limited testing, it seems that <gallery /> doesn't get along with templates, though I have yet to try just using a template in the image description (that much, I think, should work without too much of a problem); if that works out, we will be able to get some info automatically instead of having to fill everything in by hand. ;) Also, don't mind me copying your reply back here; I just like keeping discussions together to make it easier to come back through in the future and read through them. =) ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 17:54, July 23, 2011 (UTC)
I've copied over the comments from my talk page too, if you want to keep the entire thing together. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:09, July 23, 2011 (UTC)

Deleted Gallery[edit]

Why was the gallery for legendary collection 2 deleted? I was working on it yesterday for a few hours, and when I returned to the page, it no longer exists. The current gallery is good though. ~~TyrantGlider~~

Re:Rainbow & Mole[edit]

The ones you linked to are the 1st Edition versions. The ones I undeleted were the unlimited edition versions. I thought we usually retained both. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 19:59, October 8, 2011 (UTC)

I see. The images were added to the limited edition set card gallery and marked as unlimited. I don't keep up with the TCG much, so I just moved them to what I assumed was the right file name when I saw them there (that's why I get for dabbling in an area I have no place in). In the future, linking to the file that the image is superseded by may help. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 20:08, October 8, 2011 (UTC)
No big deal. Thanks. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 20:12, October 8, 2011 (UTC)

Gallery[edit]

Can I ask why you're adding images to the card galleries that don't exist? Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 03:46, March 4, 2012 (UTC)

Right. By "exist" I meant "has been uploaded to this wiki". I know the images do exist. Yeah, I realize that galleries used to not display the blank images. I suppose I don't particularly mind if they're there or not. I do find it a bit annoying, but if you want to continue to do it that way, go for it, I guess. GAOV Card Scans[edit]

I'm impressed at how quality those scans are! If at all possible (if you have them that is), would you be able to scan and upload GAOV-EN065 Storm and GAOV-EN089 Xyz Wrath? These are the only 2 cards I haven't been able to confirm English text for (I fiddle with DuelingNetwork's database and am a huge perfectionist), and Xyz Wrath I can't even find a clean artwork for =/ Thanks in advance! AEtherchild (Talk|Contribs) 23:37, April 29, 2012 (UTC)

  • I too am impressed, at least on some of them. The question I have is why the Lady of D. scan looks Sooo good, while the Lightray Gearfried scan has those annoying diagonal lines through everything? The only way I see it is if the two scans came from different sources (scanners). Are you sub-contracting the work out perhaps. I like most of them but if we can eventually get the ones with the lines updated I would be ecstatic. Glittersword TalkContributions 20:14, May 3, 2012 (UTC)
