Category edits[edit]

Could you please stop doing those pointless and experimental edits? If you keep doing random edits, you might be blocked for a while. If you want to try some stuff, you can just use the preview button to see how it does. Or you could create a sub-page for yourself, like, for instance, User:Metro3/Sandbox. You mean like this? With the entries scattered through several pages? As far as I know, that's done automatically.
If not this, please poke me again and try to provide an example or something. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 18:30, October 23, 2016 (UTC)
I don't know what more to tell you. I've already gave you an example of a category page that has page numbers at the bottom (whether as an index or to identify in which pages we currently are). That's done automatically.
I may also recommend MediaWiki's pages: category help; category extensions. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 10:33, October 24, 2016 (UTC)
I think I'm finally getting you. You want the end of the page to display 1 2 3 4 instead of (previous 200) (next 200), correct? I have no idea how that's done, I think it would be automatically, depending on the content. On Duel Masters wiki, it's already as you want it in some pages (e.g., Multicolored. But not on this one). If I find anything, I'll let you know.
And when you leave me a message, please try to place it under the correct topic. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 12:59, October 25, 2016 (UTC)
It seems those wikis have a "Category Exhibition" feature enabled. If you go to a category page, on the right upper corner of the category page, you'll see two icons; the first is too view as pages (it should be the default one, I think) (example). The second one is the gallery view; this will make it display the page numbers as you wish (example). Note that this will only change it to you, not to all users. In the case of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia, we don't have that feature enabled. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 21:59, October 25, 2016 (UTC)
I see English is not your language. Regardless, some punctuation would help.
From what I understood, if you would go forward using the (previous 200) (next 200) and then you wanted to go back, the page wouldn't change, even though its content would, is it? Similar to how it does with the 1 2 3 4, correct? If that's the case, you need to address the admins of those wikis. I can't help you much; I'm not acquainted with those wikis' policies nor what features they have implemented.
I checked any JS changes to those wikis and it seems to me there aren't any changes that would affect what you're pointing. I may have missed something, though, but I don't think so. Try to bring that matter to those wikis' admins, it's my suggestion. You can find them:

DM Wiki Admin here. Short Version, no clue. Longer version, yes we have "Category Exhibition" enabled. But if there was something else that makes it different...It would have been a change made long ago.

And not sure why it matters, as it won't be happening on this wiki anyway.~ Yami Michael 11:37, October 27, 2016 (UTC)
