Yusei's title[edit]

If Yusei was called the King of Games then that should be said in the anime, Japanese or English. However, Yusei is called King of Duelists but never the King of Games. Also, in the 5D's "King of Games" doesn't make a lot of sense since it's all dueling. In GX Jaden tried to be the King of Games but never became one. Yugi is called the King of Games as a reference to many Games that Yami Yugi played and won in the first series, and most of them weren't Duels exactly. Yusei is only called King of Duelists but never got Yugi's title. OMG! You did it 03:24, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

Ok, I understand the title change[edit]

But like I said, this is "Yu-Gi-Oh!" and the name still means king of games. There is an article here with a list of all the past Kings, which includes Kaiba, Yugi, Jaden, Hunter Pace, Jack Atlas, and Yusei Fudo. Yusei also "turbo duels", which is a new game of sorts. Also, Kaiba was the king of games, but he did not play different shadow games like Yugi did. His thing was mostly dueling too. Yusei is th new world champ, years after Yugi was. I think the title would pass on. Also, Jack would always call himself "King" because of his title. You're right that it never flatly says that in the anime, but that's why I added the parenthesis so we wouldn't have to argue about it. Does it ever flat out say he is the "King of Duelists"? Or does it say he is the "New King"? Besides, it wouldn't hurt to tie 5D's in with the original Yugioh to raise enthusiasm from long-time fans.

No, you should leave it like it is. But this will be discussed at Talk:Yusei Fudo. OMG! You did it 03:45, June 23, 2010 (UTC)
