To answer your questions you posted in the Talk Page; Yami Yugi is the Pharaoh and therefore strongest duelist so he took over to push the limitation of opponent back. I am fairly sure that Pegasus has "Millennium Eye" replaced, while golden one is taken; the one he wore is fake. Though that has nothing to do with the Movie, since he's on good side.
