Linking[edit]

Can I ask why you're linking attack names etc to the wrong thing? Attack names are just attack names, they have nothing to do with a card. Like-wise as I've said before, Umi was not used in the matches with Thor. Shardsilver (talkcontribs) 04:05, July 2, 2013 (UTC)

I agree with Shardsilver about attack names and similarly about Summon chants and etymology.
For example, "Vanity Bullet" is the name of Loki's attack. It comes from the actual word "vanity", not a separate group of cards with "Vanity" in their name. If someone sees a link, they expect the page it takes them to have some relevance. In this case, they expect to find something relevant to the attack name or something it's called after, but get something completely different. It's unnecessary and confusing. -- Deltaneos (talk) 13:43, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
Are you reading these messages? If you disagree with what we said, can you please explain why, rather than just readd it without explanation? -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:26, July 4, 2013 (UTC)
I'm saying just what Deltaneos did. We aren't trying to discourage you, but you need to give reasons for why you keep re-adding/removing things instead of ignoring complaints/explanations from others. Shardsilver (talkcontribs) 02:28, July 4, 2013 (UTC)

Nordic God Attributes[edit]

Reply, or be at risk of being blocked from editing. Regarding your edits to the Nordic Gods, they were DIVINE in the anime, as seen by their anime pictures. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 02:41, July 4, 2013 (UTC)

Regarding the fact that you claim the Attributes are from the dub, the dub has been inaccurate in many instances. This is one of them. The original Japanese episodes are what we go by, as they are the source material for the dub. (For further proof, see this image.) --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 02:52, July 4, 2013 (UTC)

Please refrain from reverting the edits without a counter-argument. I have responded to your argument above (which you posted on Shardsilver's Talk Page). If you do not make a counter-argument when reverting his edits (again), you will be blocked from editing. I highly suggest you talk this over first before editing the "Nordic God" pages. Edit-wars are abhorred. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:14, July 4, 2013 (UTC)
By that argument, you would edit the anime lore to list "Karate Man" as Level 10 in the anime (as deduced by this picture). The dub simply made a mistake; the "Nordic Gods" were already released in the TCG at the time under their non-DIVINE Attributes. By removing the DIVINE Attribute from the anime lores, you are ignoring the fact that the Japanese episodes contain the actual facts. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:31, July 4, 2013 (UTC)
Though I responded on Kuribohs page, I'll do the same here. We go by the original events, not the english dub (unless character name or Monster name, and even then we still include the Japanese names). Shardsilver (talkcontribs) 03:40, July 4, 2013 (UTC)
I'm still not seeing any substantial argument from your end; the only stuff you have said regarding this matter are "I said that I was only changing their attributes to match what is shown in the dubbed version," and "Do not change the Aesir monsters to Divine-attribute. You can see, very clearly in the dubbed cartoon, that they are still Divine-Beasts, but they have different attributes." You have yet to respond to what I gave in counter-argument. Resorting to "You're Wrong!" videos doesn't help either. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:46, July 4, 2013 (UTC)

Your week-long block[edit]

Don't let this block deter you from editing; apart from the "Nordic God" Attributes, you've made some very good edits. Just take some time to calm down before coming back to edit.

The English dub has made plenty of mistakes before, and this is one of them. You seem to like 5D's, so I'll show you another picture, this time from the English version of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's - Episode 013. The last time I checked, Yusei didn't own a "Morphtronic Datatron"...
P.S. You are still able to edit on your Talk Page while you're blocked. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 06:37, July 4, 2013 (UTC)

Six Attributes navbox[edit]

Please stop readding {{Six Attributes}} to card pages. It was removed several months ago as a result of the Six Attributes article deletion discussion. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 03:23, July 12, 2013 (UTC)

-Type[edit]

Why'd you remove that tidbit in the archetype articles? I didn't see anything wrong with them. ChaosGallade (talkcontribs) 05:13, July 18, 2013 (UTC)

Bandwagon Editing[edit]

Next time you get the urge to goad a user after they've committed an infraction, don't. We have a noticeboard where Admins can be alerted, and take appropriate action.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 02:23, July 30, 2013 (UTC)

Asking for card images[edit]

Please don't specifically ask for card images; the ones that WinterNightmare found came from here. The cards you mentioned were not shown there. Rest assured, WinterNightmare and others will post card images as soon as possible when they find them, but we do not have any special ability to post card images without them coming from someplace else on the Internet. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 04:51, August 1, 2013 (UTC)

Fusion Substitutes[edit]

Please don't add the Fusion Substitute Monsters as "related" to the "Fusion" archetype. While they are related to the concept of "Fusion Summoning", they are not related to the archetype. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 17:35, August 3, 2013 (UTC)

"Wing Requital" and "Tornado Bird"[edit]

See here. The original Japanese episodes don't lie. Sky Scout never mentions the word "Kōka", which means "effect" (which would mean that he activated the effect of "Tornado Bird"). All he says is I activate "Wing Requital" in the Japanese version. In the English dub, they change it to "By paying 600 Life Points, I can activate Tornado's special ability: "Wind Requital".
The English dub took the liberty of changing the card into an effect of "Tornado Bird" because the card was never seen in the anime. This is not new; some cards have been used in the anime/manga without being shown, such as "Rolling Thunder" and "Speed Spell - Take Over". Other proof of the English dub being wrong can be seen at Card replacements in the dub.
That being said, I wonder if "Wing Requital" should be renamed to "Wind Requital"... hmmmm. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 18:13, August 3, 2013 (UTC)

Aesir[edit]

Sean, the archrelated category is not for whatever you seem to think it is for. When a monster specifically mentions a member of an archetype or series, it is archrelated. The ones that you have been linking to Aesir to not. So please stop adding it to their pages. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 19:38, August 6, 2013 (UTC)

Look Sean, I'll accept your reasoning behind adding those cards as related to Aesir, so I'll leave the links. However, there is 0 reason to reference "Mountain" at all. If you keep ignoring edit summaries and re-adding information after being asked to stop, you are getting a block. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 17:14, August 7, 2013 (UTC)
So you plan to link every fish swimming in the sea to "Umi" on their trivia page? Every bird flying in the sky to "Rising Air Current"? You are making pointless connections. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 17:32, August 7, 2013 (UTC)

Archetype arguement[edit]

Slow down you're listing this as Archtypes when those archtypes dont exist.F8lfire (talkcontribs) 08:33, November 25, 2013 (UTC)

to be an archtype it requires some form of conjoining support cards that list those specific cards, for and example a card that say somthing like "target one "full armored" monster, and since no such card exist they are not an archtypeF8lfire (talkcontribs) 08:40, November 25, 2013 (UTC)

By your logic all cards containg something as simple as the word "the" would be an archetype wouldnt it?F8lfire (talkcontribs) 08:44, November 25, 2013 (UTC)

Whilst from a glance I don't believe it is an archetype it is by definition a series. Please don't start and edit war... take it up woth a mod if need be --slave(commandworks) 09:34, November 25, 2013 (UTC)

I'm seconding the requests that you stop with the needless archetype category adding. For starters, an archetype is a group of cards that have support. The things that you are tagging do not have that. Even as series, the relationship that these cards share do not require them to have archetype pages. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 17:23, November 25, 2013 (UTC)

Tyr of the Nordic Champions[edit]

Upon looking through your talk page, I can see your an avid Nordic lover. Perhaps nearly as much as I am. However, your comment towards me seemed rude and unwarranted. The Trivia Statement "Tyr is the only Nordic monster that is not part of the 3 main sub-archetypes" (Star Beast, Star Angel, and Star Spirit (Spirit is Alfar in English)) is a false statement. Because in the anime AND in Tag Force 6. Jormungand the Wicked Serpent, and Fenrir, the Wicked Wolf exist. and last I checked, Wicked Serpent and Wicked Wolf are not part of the main 3.

I merely added the text (That has been released in the OCG and TCG) to make it a true statement. So before you snap at someone, could you at least look at the edit first, instead of jumping to conclusions and barking down someones throat? That would be much appreciated.
