Card Questions[edit]
Bait Doll[edit]
- If my opponent activates Bait Doll and targets my face-down Dust Tornado, am I able to chain his card with my trap to destroy Bait Doll? My friend says that you cannot destroy Bait Doll since it makes a force activation which causes Bait Doll to return to the deck and not be targeted.----Silentshadow4 14:11, 14 June 2008 (UTC)----
Cloudian[edit]
- If a Cloudian that would be destroyed in defense mode is set face-down (like Nimbusman) and then attacked, would it be destroyed before or after damage step?----Silentshadow4 03:07, 10 June 2008 (UTC)----
- The damage step doesn't really matter if its set in face-down defense, but if the card attacking had a piercing effect, it should not be able to go through since when the Cloudian is flipped face-up in response, its destroyed automatically. I'm not completely sure so you'll need to ask around some more. Chris427 03:43, 10 June 2008 (UTC)Chris427
- With some battles, after-effect destruction will occur after damage step, not before, such as using Psychic Commander on Spirit Reaper in Stardust Accelerator (Spirit Reaper died after the battle). I'm trying to ask whether the Cloudian will die before or after the battle. And I know that you can't take damage when in defense mode, except with piercing. The step is simply called "Damage Step"... Silentshadow4 05:42, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Crystal Beast[edit]
- What would happen if a player activates Bottomless Trap Hole on a Crystal Beast monster; could it be sent to the Spell/Trap Card Zone or would it be removed from play?----Silentshadow4 17:20, 31 May 2008 (UTC)----
- No, because the Crystal Beast monster's effect is that if it is to be sent to the Graveyard, it can be placed in the Spell/Trap zone. If Bottomless clearly says its going to be removed from play, then it is to be removed from play. So to speak, D.D. cards are highly effective towards Crystal Beast monsters. Chris427 04:26, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Chris427
- Would the same thing happen when Nobleman of Crossout is used on a Crystal Beast?----Silentshadow4 18:38, 11 June 2008 (UTC)----
- Yes. Chris427 23:10, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
Elemental Hero Necroid Shaman[edit]
- When Elemental Hero Necroid Shaman is summoned and destroys a monster, who selects which battle position it is in?----Silentshadow4 03:36, 9 July 2008 (UTC)----
Great Maju Garzett[edit]
- Great Maju Garzett's ATK is reflected by the monster that was used as a tribute. Would its ATK be equal to double the ATK of a Trap Monster such as Skull Zoma, making it a 3600 since it has an ATK, or would it be 0 since it isn't a real monster (same thing with Maju Garzett)?----Silentshadow4 20:17, 1 July 2008 (UTC)----
Lightsworns[edit]
- Would the Lightsworns be affected by Light-Imprisoning Mirror if Aurkus, Lightsworn Druid is on the field? ----Silentshadow4 13:19, 17 September 2008 (UTC)----
Nobleman of Extermination[edit]
- Let's say that you activate a Nobleman of Extermination on my face-down card and I activate it as a chain. Does that card still get removed from play or does it remain on the field and activate?----Silentshadow4 23:20, 13 June 2008 (UTC)----
Scapegoat[edit]
- Could the tokens from Scapegoat be used as tributes for a Special Summon, like for Destiny Hero - Plasma? Scapegoat only says that the tokens cannot be used as tributes for Tribute Summons, so I'm thinking it is legal. This is confusing me since most of my friends say that you are not allowed to tribute the tokens at all...----Silentshadow4 03:49, 11 June 2008 (UTC)----
- Of course you can tribute them for Destiny Hero - Plasma, and there are tokens that can be used as tributes for monarchs and stuff, just not Scapegoat so your friends are wrong, you can tribute Scapegoat for special summons unless the card said that you must send three monsters on your side of the field to the Graveyard, because tokens are Removed from Play. hope that helps :) -- Dragon of chaos 15:55, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Skill Drain[edit]
- Here's a scenario: A monster with ? ATK and/or DEF (such as Chimeratech Overdragon) is on the field and Skill Drain is activated. Would the monster's ATK/DEF be dropped to 0 or stay the same? Also, if the Skill Drain were to leave the field, would the monster's ATK/DEF be returned to what it normally was before the trap card activated? Silentshadow4 05:42, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
Spirit Reaper[edit]
- Spirit Reaper, it's a monster that cannot be killed by normal means. In order to kill it, it has to be targeted by another card. What if Patrician of Darkness is face-up on the field and selects my Spirit Reaper as the attack target, would it be destroyed since it was "targeted" by a monster effect or would it stay on the field since it was to conduct a battle...?----Silentshadow4 07:21, 10 June 2008 (UTC)----
Venom Swamp[edit]
- Venom Swamp reads that any monster whose ATK is reduced to 0 is destroyed. What if the monster already has an original ATK that is 0, like the Ojama cards; would they be destroyed once they got the Venom Counters or would they remain on the field?----Silentshadow4 05:55, 2 July 2008 (UTC)----
Volcanic Hammerer[edit]
- If a Volcanic Hammerer declares an attack and is stopped with something like Spellbinding Circle or Nightmare Wheel, is it able to activate its effect during Main Phase 2? (Same thing with Volcanic Slicer and all other Volcanic monsters that cause effect damage)----Silentshadow4 00:37, 14 June 2008 (UTC)----
Deck Comments[edit]
Exodia Deck[edit]
I have made an Exodia Deck with a decent strategy. I have tried this against many other duelists and they agree that this deck is incredible. Here is a basic format for the main cards of my deck:
Exodia Victory by Creator | ||
---|---|---|
With this deck, the main strategy is to use The Creator to bring back Sangan and/or Witch of the Black Forest and have those two sent to the graveyard to get the pieces of Exodia. If it is done by battle, Patrician of Darkness is used to make them attack Sangan and Witch of the Black Forest and then Spirit Reaper or Marshmallon to protect The Creator. If your opponent does not attack, then you could either tribute those two for other monsters or destroy them by effects, like Two-Pronged Attack. If the pieces are sent to the graveyard, then that is why Backup Soldier, Pot of Avarice, and Monster Reincarnation are also in this deck. Tell me what you think of it.----Silentshadow4 16:53, 21 June 2008 (UTC)----
Game Questions[edit]
Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008[edit]
Is it possible to get Obelisk the Tormentor, Slifer the Sky Dragon, and/or The Winged Dragon of Ra in this game? If so, how do you get them?----Silentshadow4 19:05, 21 June 2008 (UTC)----- Never mind, I found out there are downloads for them in July...----Silentshadow4 20:17, 1 July 2008 (UTC)----
Comments[edit]
ooohh yeahh[edit]
Ohh yes, the first deck is to play with my cousin (he plays like in the abbrigged series without sacrifices Gaia needs 2 sacrifices and 2300 of ATK isn't good...)
To summon Infernal Flame Emperor, I have the Herald of Creation to put it in my hand and then on the field.
Thanks and give me more opinions please, but quickly since I have to go to the bed; it's 11:42 pm here. Alonsooooo0agc 04:40, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
If you have messenger [email protected] to talk tomorrow.
