Duel Academy pack names[edit]
I've seen you de-capitalize two pack names: Beasts in Fight --> Beasts in fight, and Dragons in Flight --> Dragons in flight. Are those words actually not capitalized? --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 16:29, July 10, 2016 (UTC)
- Indeed they are not capitalized, as is "nest" in the still capitalized Insect's Nest (GX1-BP). Also Power Destructions (GX1-BP) should have a period at the end. At least it has one in the game. --Sotho Tal Ker (talk • contribs) 17:20, July 10, 2016 (UTC)
Template:Card Table set[edit]
Just 1 correction regarding your {{Card table set}} additions. I've noticed that you add {{Card table set/header|es}} for the Spanish sets. We don't use that anymore; instead, we use {{Card table set/header|sp}}. In case you also run across Korean set entries, they shouldn't be {{Card table set/header|ko}}, but rather {{Card table set/header|kr}}. The reason for this minor difference is because there are some sets like CPL1 that used two different area codes for the same language: JA and JP. (The language for the card names, however, will never change, so entries like es_name and ko_name are fine. Same for the lores: es_lore and ko_lore are fine.)
Hope this isn't too confusing. Basically, just please follow the first three sentences in this message. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 18:15, July 25, 2016 (UTC)
- No, not confusing. Maybe there should be a notice/comment added to Template:Card_table_set/header, that some language codes are deprecated and should preferably be avoided. --Sotho Tal Ker (talk • contribs) 18:29, July 25, 2016 (UTC)
RE:Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Duel Academy Decks[edit]
Regarding this: "Which/how many cards are in this "generic half-deck" seems to depend on either how many cards you have or how many booster packs you have unlocked. Maybe it does depend on how many duels you have played/won. Or it depends on your duelist rank. Or it depends on the color red/blue/yellow. That would need further investigation." Are you saying that for any year (or just the first year?) that the "generic half-deck" components of the opponents' Decks can change based on your in-game progress? I really don't want to believe that... Right now, I only want to believe that the only time the characters' Decks can change is once a year due to the new F/L list in-game. I know that other people may have missed out on documenting the different Decklists for each year in their FAQs, but I really find it hard to believe none of them noticed changes in a character's Decklist within 1 year in the game.
Putting that possibility aside, I'd like to first document all of the Decklists for each year first, before noting that "generic half-deck" component thing. That factoid would be something that goes on the video game's main page, I think.
Also, how did you find out that Syrus has "Elemental HERO Thunder Giant" in his Fusion Deck? --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 02:47, July 28, 2016 (UTC)
GX1 Bladefly[edit]
Hi Sotho Tal Ker, could you double-check the GX1 number for Bladefly? According to the card list, GX1 only features 1200 cards, and none of the other cards we have numbers for have a number above that. Thanks! 「ディノ奴千?!」? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 04:36, August 1, 2016 (UTC)
- Had a typo there, fixed now! --Sotho Tal Ker (talk • contribs) 04:48, August 1, 2016 (UTC)
