Resolving matters...[edit]

Alright, you've had your fun. I've warned you multiple times, but you removed my messages and ignored what I asked (regarding Card Trivia and Card Rulings). You're going to be blocked for 10 days. If you ignore my warnings again, it'll be a month the next time. For your benefit, I'm restoring the messages (below this message) you removed in order to remind you. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 04:45, April 25, 2016 (UTC)

Card Trivia[edit]

Please stop comparing effects to other effects, saying they're "different versions" or "a better version". This is very difficult to establish, so it's not very often that we note such relationships. Example: "Kozaky's Self-Destruct Button" could be combined with something like "Beelze of the Diabolic Dragons" for ATK gain, while "Bad Luck Blast" couldn't be used that way. Now, I know it's very unlikely that a player would ever intentionally (and efficiently) use "Kozaky's Self-Destruct Button" in their Deck that way, but that just serves as an extreme example. There can be finer cases where it isn't as easy to say which card (among a pair of cards) is "better" than the other, and often personal opinions get in the way of making an unbiased judgment. So to avoid situations like that, we don't note stuff like that.
There can be exceptions, but only for very simplistic cases. Example: "Raimei" is strictly a better version of "Sparks". --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 05:05, January 16, 2016 (UTC)

sorry for not being active on the chat talk 2 u soon--Legacyhunters (talkcontribs) 05:22, January 17, 2016 (UTC)

Card Trivia (again)[edit]

The point is, they aren't perfect counterparts. "Trap Stun" can negate all Trap effects, while "Magic Deflector" can only negate some Spell effects (not Ritual Spell Cards or Normal Spell Cards). Removing messages here doesn't hide your warnings; if you continue with your behavior that I warned against in my previous message here, you will be blocked. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 18:02, January 18, 2016 (UTC)

Asking rulings on card Talk Pages[edit]

Talk Pages are only intended for discussion on how to improve an article, not for casual discussion or asking ruling questions (unless it was a Card Tips page, regarding a ruling you wanted to confirm before adding/removing a related tip). In the future, please post on Forum:Yu-Gi-Oh! Ruling Queries for ruling questions. I'm answering your question on this 1 occasion, but if you post similar questions on other Talk Pages, they may be deleted without warning (and without an answer given).
"When your opponent Special Summons a monster(s) with 2000 or more ATK: Negate the effects of one of those monsters with 2000 or more ATK, and if you do, destroy it." If your opponent Special Summons 1 or more monsters (including at least 1 monster with 2000+ ATK), you can negate the effects of 1 of those Summoned monsters with 2000+ ATK, and if you do, you destroy the monster whose effects you negated. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 18:54, January 18, 2016 (UTC)
