Hi, welcome to Yugipedia Thanks for your contributions.

Here's a wiki tip for you -- you can sign your name on talk/discussion pages by typing ~~~~ which automatically adds your signature and the date.

Check out the Yu-Gi-Oh!:FAQ for more tricks.

Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything!

Oh, and by the way, please remove the image on your user page, fair use images aren't allowed on user or talk pages. Bluedog 00:44, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

Thanks a lot bluedog! Thestardustdragon 01:44, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

  1. I'm not totally sure which kinds of images are allowed, but I know that card images aren't allowed most of the time. Ask Deltaneos or TwoTailedFox. They'll know.
  2. Bottomless Trap hole can remove Stardust. And Stardust won't be able to revive itself. For more info on that, read the Main Page's Featured Card Article here.
  3. If ya ever want to talk about decks, sure, I'm up for it. (some other users that are good for deck discussions are Dmaster and Chris427; hopefully they won't mind that I used their names).

One last thing, about those discussion topics you've posted on your talk, they might get more attention if ya post 'em in the Forums under Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki Discussion. Or the Lists Discussion. Bluedog 02:48, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

The Format with Stardust Dragon[edit]

Wow, the new format is so fast its ridiculous. In a format where 6 out of the top 8 competitors ran Gladiator Beast, the addition of Stardust Dragon is a much needed repsite. Its negation of destruction effects such as Gladiator Beast Gyzarus this card is an excellent counter to them. There is a slight problem though, your opponent summons Gyzarus then summons a level 2 synchron. BANG! Your opponent just dropped the two card Gyzarus explosion then made it into their own Stardust Dragon. I have no idea how people are going to slow down the Gladiator Beast revolution.
With the new semi-limitation on Judgment Dragon and Dark Armed Dragon the Glad Beasts don't seem to be slowed down at all.
Folks, I would have to say that I have three suggestions for ending your Gladiator woes.
1)Stardust Dragon it negates the old Gyzarus explosion.
2)Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror yet again, the negation of Gyzarus(who is dark btw).
3)Black Horn of Heaven in my opinion, every single person should side at least one of these to stop the summon of powerful opposition like Stardust Dragon and Gladiator Beast Gyzarus.Thestardustdragon 02:05, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

The Lightsworn Archetype[edit]

Lightsworn deck is an archetype that was released in Light of Destruction. The new ban list put a semi-restriction on Judgment Dragon(a very cool looking card by the way) which hurt this archetype.

Why? do you ask does this hurt them? Well, with the classic mill effect still in use a Lightsworn deck user will usually end up milling one judgment dragon(JD) in the course of a duel. Leaving only one in the deck. Ouch, that really could hurt. I absolutely love this deck type though because of its speed. This deck is by far the fastest of all time. In the world semi-finals one player beat the other by summoning 5 monsters in one turn for a combined 8500 damage, first attack of the game too.
But, sadly, lightsworns are the most inconsistent deck type that is popular today. The same player that won in just one turn lost the next game by drawing two Wulf, Lightsworn Beast and 3 JD. Hopefully the introduction of Charge of the Light Brigade will keep them a little more consistent with a search card ready. Of course, there are still the deck out woes and the actual price of making a lightsworn deck that keep them down.Thestardustdragon 02:04, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
