World Championship 2019 Special: Yugi vs. Kaiba
Yugi vs. Kaiba was a scripted Duel that took place during the second day of the World Championship 2019 in Berlin, Germany on August 11, 2019. Dan Green and Eric Stuart reprised their roles as Yugi Muto and Seto Kaiba, respectively.

Turn 1: Kaiba
Kaiba activates the Normal Spell "Cards of Consonance", allowing him to discard 1 Dragon Tuner with 1000 or less ATK, and in exchange, he draws 2 cards. He discards "The White Stone of Ancients" and draws 2 cards. Kaiba activates the Normal Spell "Dragon Shrine", allowing him to send 1 Dragon monster from his Deck to his GY, then, if that monster in his GY is a Dragon Normal Monster, he can send 1 more Dragon monster from his Deck to his GY. He sends "Luster Dragon #2" from his Deck to his GY, and since it is a Dragon Normal Monster, he also sends "The White Stone of Legend" to his GY. Kaiba activates the effect of "The White Stone of Legend" in his GY: if it is sent to the GY he adds 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from his Deck to his hand. Kaiba activates the Normal Spell "Trade-In", allowing him to discard 1 Level 8 monster, and in exchange, he draws 2 cards. He discards "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" and draw 2 cards. Kaiba Normal Summons "Kaibaman" (200/700). Kaiba activates the effect of "Kaibaman", allowing him to Tribute it to Special Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from his hand, which he does so in Attack Position (3000/2500). Kaiba activates the Quick-Play Spell "Silver's Cry", allowing him to Target 1 Dragon Normal Monster in his GY, and Special Summon it. He targets and Special Summons a second copy of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from his GY in Attack Position. Kaiba Sets 1 card in his Spell & Trap Zone.
During his End Phase, Kaiba activates the effect of "The White Stone of Ancients" in his GY: if it is in the GY because it was sent there this turn, he can Special Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes" monster from his Deck. He Special Summons a third copy "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from his Deck in Attack Position.
Turn 2: Yugi
Yugi activates the Normal Spell "Pot of Greed", allowing him to draw 2 cards. Yugi activates the effect of "Watapon" in his hand: if it is added from his Deck to his hand by a card effect, he can Special Summon it (200/300), which he does so in Attack Position. Yugi Tributes "Watapon" to Tribute Summon "Dark Magician Girl" (2000/1700) in Attack Position. Yugi activates the Normal Spell "Sage's Stone": if he controls a face-up "Dark Magician Girl", he can Special Summon 1 "Dark Magician" from his hand or Deck, which he does so from his Deck in Attack Position (2500/2100). Yugi Sets 1 card in his Spell & Trap Zone. Yugi activates "Dark Burning Magic": if he controls monsters whose original names are "Dark Magician" and "Dark Magician Girl", then he destroys all cards his opponent controls. Kaiba's 3 "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" and his Set "Last Turn" are destroyed.
"Dark Magician" attacks Kaiba directly. In response, Kaiba activates the effect of "Goddess of Sweet Revenge" in his hand: when an opponent's monster declares an attack, while he controls no cards and "Goddess of Sweet Revenge" is the only card in his hand, then he can discard it, in order to destroy as many cards as possible his opponent controls, then Kaiba can Special Summon 1 monster from his Deck. He discards "Goddess of Sweet Revenge", destroys Yugi's "Dark Magician", "Dark Magician Girl", and his Set "Chaos Scepter Blast", and then Special Summons "Deep-Eyes White Dragon" (0/0) from his Deck in Attack Position. Kaiba activates the second effect of "Deep-Eyes White Dragon": if it is Normal or Special Summoned, he targets 1 Dragon monster in his GY, and makes this card's ATK becomes equal to that target's. He targets the 3000 ATK "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" in his GY ("Deep-Eyes White Dragon": 0 → 3000 ATK). Yugi activates the second effect of "Chaos Scepter Blast": if this card in its owner's Spell & Trap Zone is destroyed by an opponent's card effect, Yugi can Special Summon 1 "Magician of Black Chaos" or " Dark Magician of Chaos" from his Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. He Special Summoning "Dark Magician of Chaos" from his Deck in Defense Position (2800/2600). Yugi activates the first effect of "Dark Magician of Chaos": when it is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned, he can add 1 Spell from his GY to his hand. He adds "Pot of Greed" from his Graveyard to his hand.
Yugi activates "Pot of Greed" again, drawing 2 cards. Yugi Set 1 card in his Spell & Trap Zone.
Turn 3: Kaiba
Kaiba activates the Normal Spell "Card of Demise", allowing him to draw until he has 5 cards in his hand, however, during his 5th Standby Phase after activation, he must send all cards in his hand to his GY. He draws 5 cards. Kaiba activates the second effect of "The White Stone of Ancients" in his GY: he can banish it from his GY, then target 1 "Blue-Eyes" monster in his GY, and add it to his hand. He banish "The White Stone of Ancients" from his GY, in order to target and add "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from his GY to his hand. Kaiba reveals it to Special Summon "Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon" (3000/2500) in Attack Position via its own effect. Kaiba activates the second effect of "Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon", allowing him to target 1 monster his opponent controls, and destroy it. However, it cannot attack the turn this effect is activated. He targets "Dark Magician of Chaos". In response, Yugi activates the first effect of "Palladium Oracle Mana" in his hand: during either player's turn, when his opponent activates a card or effect that targets 1 Spellcaster monster he controls (and no other cards), while "Palladium Oracle Mana" is in his hand or GY, he can Special Summon it, which he does so in Attack Position (2000/1700). Due to the second effect of "Palladium Oracle Mana", Level 7 or higher Spellcaster monsters Yugi controls cannot be destroyed by card effects, therefore "Dark Magician of Chaos" is not destroyed by the second effect of "Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon". Kaiba Normal Summons "The King of D." (1200/1100), and activates its second effect: when this card is Normal Summoned, Kaiba can discard 1 Spell/Trap, in order to add 1 "The Flute of Summoning Dragon", "The Melody of Awakening Dragon", or "Dragon Revival Rhapsody" from his Deck to his hand. He discard the Spell "Return of the Dragon Lords", and adds "Dragon Revival Rhapsody" from his Deck to his hand. Kaiba activates the Normal Spell "Dragon Revival Rhapsody": if he controls a Spellcaster monster, he can target up to 2 Dragon monsters in his GY, including at least 1 Normal Monster, and Special Summon them. However, his opponent takes no damage this turn. As he controls the Spellcaster "The King of D.", Kaiba targets and Special Summons 2 "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" from his Graveyard in Attack Position.
"Blue-Eyes White Dragon" attacks "Dark Magician of Chaos". In response, Yugi activates his Set Normal Trap "Mirror Force": when an opponent's monster declares an attack, Yugi destroys all his opponent's Attack Position monsters. Kaiba uses the second effect of "Return of the Dragon Lords" in his GY: if a Dragon monster(s) he controls would be destroyed by battle or card effect, he can banish "Return of the Dragon Lords" instead, which he does so to prevent the destruction of his 2 "Blue-Eyes White Dragons", "Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon", and "Deep-Eyes White Dragon", however "The King of D." is still destroyed.
"Deep-Eyes White Dragon" attacks and destroys "Dark Magician of Chaos" (due to its third effect effect, if it leaves the field, it banishes itself).
The first copy of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" attacks and destroys "Palladium Oracle Mana". Yugi activates the third effect of "Palladium Oracle Mana": if it is destroyed by battle or card effect, he can Special Summon 1 "Dark Magician Girl" from your hand, Deck, or GY. He Special Summons "Dark Magician Girl" from his GY in Defense Position.
The second copy of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" attacks and destroys "Dark Magician Girl".
Kaiba Sets 2 cards in his Spell & Trap Zone.
Turn 4: Yugi
Yugi activates the Normal Spell "Dark Magic Veil": by paying 1000 LP (Yugi: 4000 → 3000 LP), he can Special Summon 1 DARK Spellcaster from his hand or GY. He Special Summons "Dark Magician" from his GY in Attack Position. Yugi activates the Normal Spell "Bond Between Teacher and Student": if he controls "Dark Magician", he can Special Summon 1 "Dark Magician Girl" from your hand, Deck, or GY, then, he can Set 1 "Dark Magic Attack", "Dark Burning Attack", "Dark Burning Magic", or "Dark Magic Twin Burst" directly from his Deck. He Special Summons "Dark Magician Girl" from his GY in Attack Position, then he Sets "Dark Burning Attack" from his Deck to his Spell & Trap Zone. Yugi activates his Set "Dark Burning Attack": if he controls a "Dark Magician Girl" monster, he destroys all face-up monsters his opponent controls. Kaiba's 2 "Blue-Eyes White Dragons", "Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon", and "Deep-Eyes White Dragon". Kaiba activates the third effect of "Deep-Eyes White Dragon": if it is destroyed by a card effect while on the field, he destroys all monsters his opponent controls. Yugi's "Dark Magician" and "Dark Magician Girl" are destroyed. Yugi activates the Normal Spell "Card of Sanctity", allowing both players to draw until they have 6 cards in their respective hands. Yugi draw 6 cards and Kaiba 5 cards. Yugi activates the first effect of "Palladium Oracle Mahad": when he draws this card, he can reveal it, in order to Special Summon it from his hand, which he does so in Attack Position (2500/2100). Yugi activates the Ritual Spell "Chaos Form", allowing him to to Ritual Summon any "Chaos" or "Black Luster Soldier" Ritual Monster, by Tributing monsters from his hand or field and/or banishing "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" or "Dark Magician" from his GY, whose total Levels exactly equal the Level of the "Chaos" or "Black Luster Soldier" Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon. He banishes the Level 7 "Dark Magician" from his GY to Ritual Summon the Level 7 "Magician of Chaos" from his hand in Attack Position (2500/2100). Yugi activates the Normal Spell "Upstart Goblin", allowing Kaiba to regain 1000 LP, and in exchange, Yugi draws a card. Yugi chains the second effect of "Magician of Chaos": during either player's turn, when a Spell/Trap Card or effect is activated, he can target 1 card on the field, and destroy it. He targets 1 of Kaiba's Set cards in his Spell & Trap Zone. In response, Kaiba activates that targeted Set Normal Trap "Ring of Destruction", allowing him to target 1 face-up monster on the field and destroy it, and if he does, he inflicts damage to both players equal to that target's ATK. He targets "Magician of Chaos". Yugi chains the first effect of "Palladium Oracle Mana" in his GY again, Special Summoning it from his GY in Attack Position. Due to its second effect, Level 7 or higher Spellcaster-Type monsters that Yugi controls cannot be destroyed by card effects, therefore "Magician of Chaos" isn't destroyed by the effect of "Ring of Destruction", therefore it resolves without effect. The effect of "Magician of Chaos" resolves and "Ring of Destruction" is destroyed. The effect of "Upstart Goblin" resolves, with Kaiba gaining 1000 LP (Kaiba: 4000 → 5000 LP) and Yugi draws 1 card.
"Palladium Oracle Mana" attacks Kaiba directly. In response, Kaiba activates his Set Counter Trap "Negate Attack", targeting that attacking monster, negating the attack and ending the Battle Phase.
Turn 5: Kaiba
Kaiba activates the Quick-Play Spell "Forbidden Chalice", allowing him to target 1 face-up monster on the field, then, until the end of this turn, that target gains 400 ATK, but its effects are negated. He targets "Palladium Oracle Mana" ("Palladium Oracle Mana": 2000 → 2400 ATK). Kaiba activates the Normal Spell "Dragon's Mirror", allowing him to Fusion Summon 1 Dragon Fusion Monster from his Extra Deck, by banishing Fusion Materials listed on it from his field and/or GY. He banishes "Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon" (whose name is treated as "Blue-Eyes White Dragon") and 2 "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" from his Graveyard (3 "Blue-Eyes White Dragons") to Fusion Summon "Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon" in Attack Position (4500/3800) to the Extra Monster Zone on his right-hand side. Kaiba activates the second effect of "Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon": he can target 1 card his opponent controls, and destroy it. However, if it was Fusion Summoned using a monster whose original name is "Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon" as Fusion Material, he can target up to 3 cards his opponent controls instead. In exchange, it cannot attack the turn this effect is activated. Kaiba targets and destroys "Palladium Oracle Mahad", "Palladium Oracle Mana", and "Magician of Chaos". Yugi activates the third effect of "Palladium Oracle Mahad": if it is destroyed by battle or card effect, he can Special Summon 1 "Dark Magician" from his hand, Deck, or GY. He Special Summons "Magician of Chaos" from his GY in Defense Position (due to its first effect, its name is treated as "Dark Magician" while on the field and in the GY). Yugi activates the third effect of "Palladium Oracle Mana" again, Special Summoning "Dark Magician Girl" from his GY in Defense Position. Yugi activates the third effect of "Magician of Chaos": if this Ritual Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect, he can Special Summon 1 "Chaos" or "Black Luster Soldier" Ritual Monster from his hand, except "Magician of Chaos", ignoring its Summoning conditions. He Special Summons "Magician of Black Chaos MAX" (2800/2600) from his hand in Defense Position, ignoring its Summoning conditions. Kaiba banishes the DARK "The King of D." and the LIGHT "Deep-Eyes White Dragon" from his GY to Special Summon "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End" (3000/2500) in Attack Position, via its own effect. Kaiba pays 2000 LP (Kaiba: 5000 → 3000 LP) to activate the Normal Spell "Dimension Fusion", allowing both players to Special Summon as many of their banished monsters as possible. Kaiba Special Summon his banished "Deep-Eyes White Dragon", "Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon", and 2 "Blue-Eyes White Dragons", all in Attack Position, while Yugi Special Summons his banished "Dark Magician" and "Dark Magician of Chaos", both in Defense Position. Kaiba activates the second effect of "Deep-Eyes White Dragon" again, targeting the 2400 ATK "Luster Dragon #2" in his Graveyard and gaining ATK equal to that target's ("Deep-Eyes White Dragon": 0 → 2400). Yugi activates the first effect of "Dark Magician of Chaos" again, targeting and adding the Spell "Card of Sanctity" from his GY to his hand.

Turn 6: Yugi
Yugi Sets 3 cards in his Spell & Trap Zone. Yugi activates the Normal Spell "Card of Sanctity" again, allowing both players draw until they have 6 cards in their respective hands. Yugi draws 6 cards and Kaiba draws 5 cards. Yugi activates the Normal Spell "Pot of Desires", banishing the top 10 cards of his Deck face-down, in order to draws 2 cards. Yugi activates the Normal Soell "Ledger of Legerdemain", banishing the top 3 cards of his Deck face-down, then, during his 3rd Standby Phase after this card's activation, he adds all 3 of those banished cards to his hand. Yugi activates the Normal Spell "Polymerization", allowing him to Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from his Extra Deck, using monsters from his hand and/or field as Fusion Material. He fuses "Crystal Seer", "Old Vindictive Magician", "Apprentice Illusion Magician", "Mystical Elf", and "Droll & Lock Bird" (5 Spellcaster monsters) from his hand to Fusion Summon "Quintet Magician" (4500/4500) from his Extra Deck in Attack Position to the Extra Monster Zone on his right-hand side. Yugi activates the first effect of "Quintet Magician": if it is Fusion Summoned using 5 Spellcaster monsters with different names, he can destroy all cards his opponent controls. Kaiba chains his Set Normal Trap "Gift of The Mystical Elf, gaining LP equal to the number of monsters on the field x300. There are currently 7 monsters on the field: "Quintet Magician", "Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon", "Deep-Eyes White Dragon", "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End", "Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon", and 2 "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" (Kaiba LP: 3000 → 5100). The first effect of "Quintet Magician" resolves, and Kaiba's "Deep-Eyes White Dragon", "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End", "Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon", and 2 "Blue-Eyes White Dragons", as well as "Gift of the Mystical Elf" and his Set Continuous Trap "Shadow Spell", are destroyed, however, due to its first effect, "Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon" cannot be targeted by, or destroyed by, Kaiba's opponent's card effect, therefore it isn't destroyed. Kaiba activates the third effect of "Deep-Eyes White Dragon", attempting to destroy all of his opponent's monsters. However, due to its second effect, "Quintet Magician" cannot be destroyed by card effects. Yugi Normal Summons "Sangan" (1000/600).

Turn 7: Kaiba
Kaiba activates the Normal Spell "Pot of Greed", drawing 2 cards. Kaiba activates the Normal Spell "Swing of Memories", allowing him to target 1 Normal Monster in his GY, and Special Summon it, but it is destroyed during the End Phase of this turn. He targets and Special Summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from his GY in Attack Position. Kaiba activates the first effect of "Neo Kaiser Glider" in his hand, allowing him to discard it and 1 monster, in order to target 1 Dragon Normal Monster in his GY, and Special Summon it. He discards "Neo Kaiser Glider" and "Kaiser Vorse Raider", then targets and Special Summons a second copy of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from his GY in Attack Position. Kaiba activates the second effect of "Neo Kaiser Glider": if it is sent to the GY, he can make all monsters his opponent currently controls lose 500 ATK until the end of this turn ("Sangan": 1000 → 500 ATK). Kaiba activates the Normal Spell "Polymerization", fusing the 2 "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" on his field and the "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" in his hand to Fusion Summon "Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" (4500/3800) from his Extra Deck to the Extra Monster Zone on his right-hand side, in Attack Position.
"Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" attacks "Sangan". In response, Yugi activates his Set Normal Trap "Magic Cylinder", allowing him to target the attacking monster, negate the attack, and if he does, he inflicts damage to his opponent equal to its ATK. Kaiba chains his Quick-Play Spell "De-Fusion", allowing him to target 1 Fusion Monster on the field, and return that target to the owner's Extra Deck, then, if all the Fusion Materials that were used for its Fusion Summon are in his GY, he can Special Summon all of them. He targets and returns "Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" to his Extra Deck, and then Special Summons the 3 "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" from Kaiba's GY, that were used for the Fusion Summon of "Neo Blue-Eyes White Dragon", all in Attack Position. The chain resolves: Yugi's "Magic Cylinder" resolves without effect, as its target is no longer on the field.
The first copy of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" attacks "Sangan". In response, Yugi activates "Magical Hats", concealing "Sangan" between 4 "Hat Tokens" in Defense Position (0/0). A replay occurs, and the first copy of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" attacks and destroys the leftmost "Hat Token".
The second copy of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" attacks and destroys the middle "Hat Token".
The third copy of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" attacks and destroys the left Hat Token, which was concealing "Sangan", which is also destroyed. Yugi activates the effect of "Sangan": if it is sent from the field to the GY, Yugi adds 1 monster with 1500 or less ATK from his Deck to his hand, but he cannot activate cards, or the effects of cards, with that name for the rest of this turn. He adds "Kuribandit" from his Deck to his hand.
At the end of the Battle Phase, the final "Hat Token" is destroyed. Kaiba Sets 1 Monster. Kaiba Sets 1 card in his Spell & Trap Zone.
Turn 8: Yugi
Yugi Normal Summons "Kuribandit" (1000/700). Yugi activates the effect of "Kuribandit", allowing him to tribute it to draw 5 cards from his Deck, but he must then send all monsters drawn by this effect to his GY. He tributes "Kuribandit", and draws "Overdone Burial", "Diffusion Wave-Motion", "Magic Formula", "Electromagnetic Turtle", and "Clear Kuriboh". Due to the effect of "Kuribandit", Yugi sends "Electromagnetic Turtle" and "Clear Kuriboh" to his GY, as they are monsters. Yugi activates the Equip Spell "Overdone Burial", allowing him to discard 1 monster, then target 1 monster in his GY, whose Level is lower than the discarded monster's original Level, and Special Summon it and equip it with "Overdone Burial". However, the equipped monster has its effects negated. He discards the Level 9 "Sorcerer of Dark Magic" to target and Special Summon the Level 7 "Magician of Chaos" from his GY in Attack Position, but its effects are negated. Yugi activates the Equip Spell "Magic Formula", and equips to "Magician of Chaos"[1]. The monster equipped with "Magic Formula" gains 700 ATK ("Magician of Chaos": 2500 → 3200 ATK). Yugi pays 1000 LP (Yugi LP: 3000 → 2000) to activate the Normal Spell "Diffusion Wave-Motion", allowing him to target 1 Level 7 or higher Spellcaster monster he controls: this turn, it must attack all monsters his opponent controls once each, also other monsters he controls cannot attack. In addition, the effects of monsters destroyed by these attacks cannot activate and are negated. He targets "Magician of Chaos".
"Magician of Chaos" attacks and destroys the first copy of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" (Kaiba LP: 4100 → 3900).
"Magician of Chaos" attacks and destroys the second copy of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon (Kaiba LP: 3900 → 3700).
"Magician of Chaos" attacks and destroys the third copy of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon (Kaiba LP: 3700 → 3500).
"Magician of Chaos" attacks and destroys Kaiba's Set monster Giant Germ (1000/100). Due to the effect of "Diffusion Wave-Motion", its effects cannot activate and are negated. Kaiba activate his Set Normal Trap "Crush Card Virus": when a monster with 1000 or less ATK is destroyed by battle from your side of the field, Kaiba checks all cards on his opponent's side of the field, their hand, and all cards they draw for the remainder of the Duel, and if he does, he destroys all revealed monsters with 1500 or more ATK. In addition, while this card is in his GY, his opponent cannot Special Summon those monsters from the GY. Due to the effect of "Crush Card Virus", "Magician of Chaos" is destroyed, and since it was equipped with "Magic Formula", it is also destroyed. Yugi activates the second effect of "Magic Formula": when it is sent from the field to the Graveyard, Yugi gains 1000 LP (Yugi: 2000 → 3000 LP).
Turn 9: Kaiba
At the start of his Main Phase 1, Kaiba activates "Pot of Extravagance": he banishes 3 or 6 random face-down cards from his Extra Deck, face-down, then he draws 1 card for every 3 cards banished, however, for the rest of this turn after this card resolves, he cannot draw any cards by card effects. Kaiba activates the Ritual Spell "Chaos Form", banishing 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from his GY to Ritual Summon "Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon" (4000/0) from his hand in Attack Position.
"Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon" attacks Yugi directly. In response, Yugi activates the second effect of "Clear Kuriboh" in his GY: when his opponent's monster declares a direct attack, he can banish "Clear Kuriboh" from his GY, in order to draw 1 card, and if it is a monster, he can Special Summon it, then change the attack target to it. He banishes it from his GY, and draws "Kuriboh". Yugi activates the effect "Kuriboh" in his hand: during his opponent's turn, at damage calculation, he can discard "Kuriboh", in order to take no battle damage from that battle. The attack continues, but due to the effect of "Kuriboh"m Yugi takes no battle damage.
Turn 10: Yugi
Yugi activates the Normal Spell "Draw of Fate": if his LP are lower than his opponent's and his opponent controls a monster with the highest ATK on the field (even if it's tied), he reveals 3 cards with different names from his Deck, places them on top of your Deck in random order, then he draws 1 card. However, for the rest of this turn after this card resolves, he cannot Set Spells/Traps, also he can only activate one more card or effect. He places 3 cards on the top of his Deck in a random order, then he draws 1 card.
Turn 11: Kaiba
Kaiba activates the Normal Spell "Monster Reborn", allowing him to target 1 monster in either player's GY, and Special Summon it to his field. He Special Summons "Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon" from his GY in Attack Position.
"Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon" attacks Yugi directly. In response, Yugi activates the effect of "Electromagnetic Turtle", allowing him to banish it from his GY to end the current Battle Phase.
Turn 12: Yugi
During this turn's Standby Phase, as it is the 3rd Standby Phase since Yugi activated "Ledger of Legerdemain", all 3 cards that were banished by its effect are added to Yugi's hand. Yugi activates the Quick-Play Spell "Burial from a Different Dimension", allowing him to target up to 3 banished monsters, and return them to their owner's GY. He targets and returns Kaiba's banished "The White Stone of Ancients", "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", and "The King of D." to Kaiba's Graveyard. Yugi activates the Normal Spell "Soul Release", allowing him to target up to 5 cards in either player's GY, and banish them. He banishes "Giant Germ" from Kaiba's Graveyard, and "Mystical Elf", "Droll & Lock Bird", "Kuriboh", and "Old Vindictive Magician" from his Graveyard. Yugi activates the Normal Spell "Double Spell", allowing him to discard Spell, then target 1 Spell in his opponent's GY, and activate that target on his side of the field. He discards "Dark Magic Twin Burst", in order to target and activate "Dimension Fusion" from Kaiba's GY on his side of the field. Yugi pays 2000 LP as cost for the activation of "Dimension Fusion" (Yugi: 3000 → 1000 LP), and with its effect, Yugi Special Summons his banished "Clear Kuriboh" (300/200), "Electromagnetic Turtle" (0/1800), "Mystical Elf" (800/2000), "Droll & Lock Bird" (0/0) and "Kuriboh" (300/200), all in Defense Position, while Kaiba Special Summons his banished "Giant Germ" in Attack Position. Yugi Tributes "Clear Kuriboh", "Electromagnetic Turtle", "Mystical Elf", "Droll & Lock Bird", and "Kuriboh" to Tribute Summon "Exodia, the Legendary Defender" (?/?) (for the Tribute Summon of "Exodia, the Legendary Defender", Yugi can Tribute 5 monsters to for its Tribute Summon (but not Set)). Due to its first effect, the ATK/DEF of "Exodia, the Legendary Defender" become equal to the combined original ATK/DEF of the Tributed monsters (?/? → 1400/4200).
"Exodia, the Legendary Defender" attacks and destroys "Giant Germ" (Kaiba: 3500 → 3100 LP). Due to the second effect of "Exodia, the Legendary Defender", since it destroyed a DARK Fiend monster in battle, and it was owned by Yugi's opponent, Yugi automatically wins.
