Yami Yugi (闇遊戯, Yami Yūgi) is a character in Yu-Gi-Oh! Online: Duel Evolution and Yu-Gi-Oh! Online: Duel Accelerator. This is a video game depiction of Yami Yugi, a character from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime.
In Yu-Gi-Oh! Online: Duel Evolution, he was added in-game on September 6, 2007 (PST), and could be found in the "Domino City Clock Square" area in any "Domino City"-themed lobby: specifically in front of the fountain.
In Yu-Gi-Oh! Online: Duel Accelerator, Yami Yugi was available to Duel from the game's launch.
Description[edit]
The alternative personality that Yugi Muto shares his body with as a result of him completing the "Millenium Puzzle".
On taking control, it alters Yugi's physical appearance even down to his facial expressions.
As a duelist, his abilities are unmatched and he was crowned the "King of Duels" on winning the Battle City Tournament.
His deck is built around the "Dark Magician" card and is very versatile enabling him to deal with all sorts of opponents.
The exact identity of this alternative personality appears to lead to Ancient Egypt... [sic]

- 8 times, then completing 1 more Duel against Yugi:[Notes 2] the "Attack of the Ancients" Deck recipe (cards not included)
- 13 times, then completing 1 more Duel against Yugi: 1 copy of "Buster Blader"
- 16 times, then completing 2 more Duels against Yugi: the "Miracle Magic" Deck recipe (cards not included)
- 21 times, then completing 2 more Duels against Yugi: 1 copy of "Valkyrion the Magna Warrior"
- 24 times: the "KING OF DOMINO CITY" title
- 24 times, then completing 3 more Duels against Yugi: the Yami Yugi's Garms accessory and the "Slifer the Lightning" Deck recipe (cards not included)
- 200 times: the "YUGI FAN" title
The player could also earn the "ASPIRING DUELIST" title from losing to Yugi 20 times.
Duel Accelerator[edit]
In Yu-Gi-Oh! Online: Duel Accelerator, the player could earn the following rewards from defeating Yugi a certain amount of times:
- 14 times: 1 untradable copy of "Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight"
- 20 times: the "Attack of the Ancients" Deck recipe (cards not included)
- 45 times: 1 untradable copy of "Buster Blader"
- 55 times: the "Miracle Magic" Deck recipe (cards not included)
- 90 times: 1 untradable copy of "Valkyrion the Magna Warrior"
- 105 times: the "Slifer the Lightning" Deck recipe (cards not included), in addition to the Yami Yugi's Garms (male) accessory and the "KING OF DOMINO CITY" title
- 200 times: the "YUGI FAN" title
The player could also earn the "ASPIRING DUELIST" title from losing to Yugi 50 times.
Decks[edit]
The main monsters in this deck are "Gaia the Fierce Knight", "Summoned Skull" and "Obnoxious Celtic Guard". Also features cards such as "Spellbinding Circle", "Magic Cylinder" and "Mirror Force" which are all great cards when you want to turn the tables on your opponent.
