"The Conclusion Draws Near!! Who Will be the Winner?! (決着の時来たる!! 優勝は誰の手に!? Kecchaku no Toki Kitaru!! Yūshō wa Dare no Te ni!?) is the thirteenth chapter of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V The Strongest Duelist Yuya!! manga. It was first published April 1, 2017, in the Saikyō Jump magazine.
Summary[edit]
Yuya confronts his final adversary in the Duel School Tournament, the ruthless Yuri, who turns out to be a big obstacle before he can reach Reiji.
Featured Duel: Yuya Sakaki vs. Yugo vs. Yuto vs. Yuri[edit]
Note: This Duel uses a special gameplay in order to make it simpler for the children, which makes the Monster Cards have no effects whatsoever.
Duel continues from the previous chapter.
Turn 8: Yuri
Yuri attacks directly with "Clear Wing Synchro Dragon", but Yuya activates his face-down "Performapal Show Down", flipping both "Clear Wing" and "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon" into face-down Defense Position.
Turn 9: Yuya
Yuya Pendulum Summons "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" from his Extra Deck in Defense Position (2500/2000) and Sets 1 card.
Turn 10: Yuri
"Clear Wing" attacks and destroys "Odd-Eyes".[Notes 1] "Dark Rebellion" and "Starving Venom Fusion Dragon" attack directly, but Yuya activates his face-down "Lowering D", decreasing their ATKs by their DEFs ("Dark Rebellion": ATK 2500 → 500) ("Starving Venom": ATK 2800 → 800) (Yuya 2000 → 1500 → 700).
Turn 11: Yuya
Yuya Pendulum Summons "Odd-Eyes" from his Extra Deck (2500/2000) and activates "Pendulum Boost", destroying "Stargazer Magician" and "Timegazer Magician" in his Pendulum Zones and increases the ATK of "Odd-Eyes" by their total Levels x100 ("Odd-Eyes": ATK 2500 → 3300). "Odd-Eyes" attacks and destroys "Clear Wing", with its effect doubling the battle damage (Yuri 4000 → 2400). Since two Pendulum Monsters were destroyed, "Pendulum Boost" allows "Odd-Eyes" to attack two more times. "Odd-Eyes" attacks and destroys "Dark Rebellion" and "Starving Venom" (Yuri 2400 → 800 → 0).
