"The Beautiful Trap!" is the 115th chapter of the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga. In its first English printing, it was numbered as the 56th chapter of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist. In the 3-in-1 edition, its number was changed to match the original Japanese printing.

Featured Duels[edit]
Yugi Mutou's Turn[edit]
Yugi Summons "Summoned Skull" in Attack Position and attacks Harpy Lady, but "Mirror Wall" activated again, reducing "Summoned Skull's" ATK to 1250 and negating the attack.
Mai Kujaku's Turn[edit]
Mai activates "Harpy's Feather Duster", sending Yugi's face-down card ("Spellbinding Circle") to the Graveyard.
Yugi Mutou's Turn[edit]
Yugi changes "Summoned Skull" to Defense Position and Summons "Feral Imp" in Defense Position.
Mai Kujaku's Turn[edit]
Mai equips "Harpy Lady" with "Electro-Whip", raising her ATK to 2100 and attacks "Feral Imp", destroying it.
Yugi Mutou's Turn[edit]
Yugi Summons "Saiga" in Defense Position.
Mai Kujaku's Turn[edit]
She Summons "Harpies' Pet Dragon" in Attack Position. Its ATK raises to 2300 because of its effect. It attacks and destroys "Summoned Skull".
Anime adaption[edit]
This chapter was redone in the end of episode 29 of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. A number of changed were made including:
- Mai still wore her jacket and her skin was not visible under the strings of her lace-up top. The latter change was applied throughout the entire Duelist Kingdom arc.
- During the Duel, Yugi still wore his jacket.
- The Duel takes place in a Dueling Arena, rather than a Battle Box-esque table.
- All monsters that are Summoned in Defense Position are face-down.
- Joey (Jonouchi) was about to fall from the balcony, while he was talking with Mai.
- When "Spellbinding Circle" was destroyed, a Solid Vision projection of it appeared instead of Yugi himself showing its card to Mai.
- Mai equipped "Harpie Lady" with "Rose Whip" instead of "Electro-Whip".
