Summary

Yugi Mutou is kidnapped by Seto Kaiba and forced to Duel the first of his four Game Masters, Count Ridley Sheldon.

The Strange count, the first Game master

Ridley Sheldon, the excentric count

Seto Kaiba remembered his last duel(Yu-Gi-Oh! (Toei) episode 3: "Clash! The Strongest Monster") against Dark Yugi, that ended in a DRAW. Still angry by this result and Yugi words about the Heart of the Cards, Kaiba decided to call his Four Game Masters to duel and defeat Yugi Mutou.

In a mansion in the outskirsts of London, an old british count, Ridley Sheldon, was having a tea's party at 3pm with various guests. He talked to his doll, Fiona (フィオナ), a blonde bisque doll dressed up in a Victorian outfit, to bring biscuits to the guests. A Kaiba Corporation helicopter arrived to the mansion, causing wind alongside the party. The guests are revelead to be human-size dolls and are thrown away by the wind. Sheldon was angry at the beginning, but when he sawthe logo of Kaiba Corporation in the helicopter, he decided to hear the call of Seto Kaiba.

Miho's first duel and Honda's puns

Miho has trouble in her first Duel

Meanwhile, in Yugi's school, Miho and Yugi were ending a game of Duel Monsters. Yugi won and Jonouchi commented that he was pitiless when he played games. Yugi tried to excuse himself by saying that that was his first time winning in that game. Miho began to fake cry, prompting Honda to blame Yugi, whom Anzu then defended. Jonouchi began to have fun with Honda, saying wrong the name of his work as the class janitor, confusing Honda with Japanese puns of "octopus" and "mandarin". Finally, the school nurse called Yugi to go to the infirmary.

The School nurse

In the infirmary, the school nurse meet Yugi and told him that he was "strong", flustering him. She commented that he was strong in card games, because she heard various rumors.She keep acting seductively and challenged him to a Duel .Yugi agreed and both begin the duel with a mat in a infirmary bet. Yugi begin with the card Rock-Gun in the mountain zone (increasing his ATK in 50%), but the nurse commented that was a boring opening. She used Ghost to counter-attack and forced a mutual destruction.

Yugi was flustered with the "school nurse"

She later used Chimera in the forrest zone. Yugi believed that could used Dark Mammoth to defeat Chimera, but the nurse told Yugi that he was too naive and explined that her monster has the special power to burn the land around it, turning the forest into a wasteland.In the new field, "Chimera" had a power bonus of 50%. Yugi was surprised by the outcome and tried another move, using Dark Dragon. However the nurse keep countering it with Zombie in Defense. Yugi became more and more anxious with each card played (a montage is shown of the monsters used in the duel) and keep losing battles agaisnt the confident nurse. Finally she used the card Aphrodite, in a combo with the spell card Tsunami, to make a final blow against Yugi, destroying his monster Black Scorpion and winning the duel. As punishment for losing, she took the Neon Knight card from Yugi. She told him that she would returned it if Yugi returned and defeated her,

Yugi left to return to classes (because of the school clock's sound) and the nurse began to speak with Sheldon's voice: it's revealed that she was only a very-human like doll used by the count, and that Seto Kaiba was hidden, watching the duel. Ridley Sheldon discarded the puppet to comment with Kaiba on Yugi's lack of strategy and tactics. Kaiba informed Sheldon of the existence of Yugi "other face" (Yami Yugi) and ordered him to duel Yugi again to test Sheldon own abilities.

Yugi is kidnapped

The nurse uses the combo of Aphrodite and Tsunami

At the end of the classes Yugi was with Anzu but he wanted to go the arcade 'SAKA' looking for a new aventure-looking game named KIS. Anzu advised him to no waste his money in videogames and that his own grandfather wass worried that he spent too much money already, but Yugi lied and left her. When Yugi arrive to the 'SAKA' arcade, he didn't find any trace of his wanted videogame and was approached by an arcade's worker.Yugi asked him about the new videogame. The worker told him that he was the first person to play the game and asked Yugi to follow him. The worker brought Yugi to a corridor and they went outside the arcade. In the exit door Yugi anly saw a backstreet and a gree car with the door open. Yugi asked the situation to the worker but he changed his voice and throw Yugi inside the car.

The car begging to move, with the worker immobilizating Yugi. He hearded the school nurse's voice in the front of the car, saying that they would continue their duel. To Yugi's surprise, he watched Ridley Sheldon instead of the nurse, mocking him, with the "Neon Knight" card in hand.The worker present the count as one of the "Game masters" and revealed himself to be Seto Kaiba in a disguise. Kaiba was sure to humillate Yugi this time, in the Doll Mansion. Meanwhile, Sheldon wanted to taste the "Shadow game"

Duel in the Doll Mansion

Yugi was brought to a strange mansion, in a room with various victorian dolls without eyes all over the place. Sheldon and Yugi sat down in a table with a Duel Monsters playmat.Kaiba was watching, being at the count side. Yugi was scared of the creepy dolls seemly watching him, and Kaiba mocked him.The game began and Shieldon used the taken Neon Knight(1800/1200) in the mountain zone. Yugi was worried by this card high Attack and played Devil Dragon in defense position. Sheldon wasn't impressed by this move and used Neon Knight special abilitie in the mountain zone to absorbe thunder. At this point,the monsters seems to be real and Yugi was frigtened by Neon Knight charging his sword with the thunder and destroying Koumori Dragon with it. The attack was so strong that Yugi felt of the chair and smoke came out of his clothes.

Dark Yugi begins a shadow game summoning Death Wolf

Sheldon explained that in the Doll Mansion the fights were real and the life points would decrease even having monsters in defense position. Sheldon urged Yugi to fight him seriously. The Neon Knight attack triggered the power of the Millenium Puzzle and Dark Yugi appeared, ready to confront Sheldon and go into offensive. Sheldon was very surprised and thought that he was looking that Yugi trasformed into a different person. Kaiba was happy with the turn of events. Dark Yugi summoned "Death Wolf" (1200/1200) in the forest, to the chagrin of Sheldon. It seemed that Death Wolf was summoned via Dark Yugi's shadow magic. He also played "Shadowman" (it isn't know how Yugi played two monster cards in the same turn), but Sheldon was sceptic about his power compared with Neon Knight.

Shadow game and puppet monsters

Sheldon was sure to give a real battle and summoned "King Beetle", ready to destroy Yugi monsters. But Dark Yugi used Shadowman special abilitie to change the entire field into a darkness field. Sheldon monsters couldn't see in the darkness to attack and Death Wolf increased its attack. Death Wolf attacked and destroyed Neon Knight. Sheldon was surprised by the defeat of his card and the shadow game effect of the destruction. King Beetle tried to attack Death Wolf in the middle of darkness.Dark Yugi wasn't impressed and Death Wolf ambushed King Beetle.Dark Yugi was surprised that King Beetle wasn't destroyed inmediatly.The fight lasted a whie until Death Wolf broke King Beetle horn, releasing real fire. Sheldon and his doll Fiona were burn in the attack, and he was angry by the damage at his doll. Kaiba presusured Sheldon into continuing the game.

Sheldon is confident in his puppet monters as "Ryu-Kishin"

Renewed with energy, Sheldon summoned "Ryu-Kishin" in the new darkness field and used him to attack Dark Yugi. The air of the tornado attack affected DarK Yugi, who used "Night Soldier" to block Ryu-Kishin attack with his sword.In a close battle, Night Soldier had the adventage, but somehow Ryu-Kishin was stronger and destroyed Night Soldier. Sheldon laughed, confident in his victory.Dark Yugi thought about the strange situation and after watching the doll Fiona and finding her as creepy, he concluded that Sheldon monsters were giant puppets in reality. Also, the field itself was a doll field that give Sheldon monsters a bonus attack. Ready with a new strategy, Yugi equipped the "Roar" to Death Wolf. Now, the attack of Death Wolf become a roaring and was impacting the puppet-type Ryu-Kishin . Annoyed, Sheldon played "Salamandra" intenting to burn the entire field, however Dark Yugi explained that Death Wolf roaring was effective against the puppet monster of Sheldon. The roaring continued and both puppet monters, Ryu-Kishin and Salamandra were destroyed.

Dark Yugi won and Sheldon fled from the destruction of the giant corpse of the puppet of Salamandra. Yugi congratulated the effort of Sheldon, who appeared somewhow affected by the Shadow Game, with smoke in his clothes. Later, Sheldon left the Doll mansion with Fiona and walked into the rain,he was still affable and tought into returning home. Kaiba saw the defeated count leaving and was more stubborn into defeating Dark Yugi.

The doll of Salamandra is destroyed

The next day, Yugi had another duel with Miho, and won easily.Then Miho proposed to paly another game and that she would kiss Yugi if she lost. This comment surprised Honda, Jonouchi and Yugi, who competed to be Miho's next opponent, much to Anzu' annoyance. Anzu throw some cards at Yugi and left . The rest of the gang laughted at the entire incident.

Yugi Mutou vs Miho Nosaka (First)

Unseen. Miho has two monster cards in the field (including a blurred "Goblin") and four cards in hand. Yugi had one monster in the field and four cards in hand. Miho complains that is her first time playing the game.

Dark Magician against Ghost

Some scenes of both players losing life points are shown (Yugi: 1015 → 950 → 800 Life Points, Nurse Puppet: 2000 → 1800 Life Points). The monsters "Hellcat" (500/200), "Mushroom Man" (800/600),"Gremlin","Death Wolf", "Slime# the spell "Sun" and many more unknown cards are used by any of the two players. It seems that "Dark Magician" (2000/1800) was used in some point, fighting another copy of "Ghost"; and later "Koumori Dragon" (1500/800) was used against "Mystical Elf" (800/2000).

Yugi summons "Black Scorpion" (800/450) and attacks "Aphrodite", but Nurse Puppet combos "Aphrodite" with "Tsunami", destroying "Black Scorpion". (In the real card game you can't activate normal spells during your opponent's turn. However, "Tsunami" is implied to be already on the field before this turn.)

Nurse Puppet wins and takes "Neon Knight" as her prize.

Yugi Mutou vs Ridley Sheldon

The duel is played in the "Doll mansion" field, where the battles involving defense monsters, take damage to the losing side. Sheldon uses puppets to represent his monsters, as a "shadow game".

Yugi summons "Devil Dragon" in the wasteland in defense position.

Ridley's turn
"Neon Knight" attacks and destroys "Devil Dragon". because the mountain increased his ATK power. The attack in the Doll mansion is real, and Yugi is rendered unconscious. Dark Yugi takes control.

Yugi summons "Death Wolf" in the forest in attack position and "Shadowman".

Ridley's turn
Ridley summons "King Beetle" and attacks "Death Wolf" but "Shadowman" turns the entire field into darkness which increases "Death Wolf's" ATK (by how much is unknown, but it is enough to destroy Neon Knight). Since "Death Wolf's" ATK is higher, "Neon Knight" is destroyed.

Yugi's turn
"Death Wolf" attacks and destroys "King Beetle".

Ridley's turn
Ridley summons "Gargoyle" (1000/1500) in the mountain.

Yugi's turn
Dark Yugi summons "Night Soldier". Dark Yugi attacks "Ryu-Kishin" with "Night Soldier", thinking "Night Soldier" will destroy "Ryu-Kishin ". However, "Ryu-Kishin's" durability is raised by Sheldon's "doll field" and "Night Soldier" is destroyed instead. Yugi then activates the spell "Roar", and does a combo with "Death Wolf's" to destroy doll's monsters as "Ryu-Kishin".

Ridley's turn
Ridley summons "Salamandra" (1000/900) to attack "Death Wolf", but the effect of Dark Yugi's Death Wolf equipped with "Roar" continues. "Salamandra" and "Ryu-Kishin" are destroyed by "Death Wolf's" howl instead.

Yugi wins.
