"Remote Rush Duel" is the thirty-first episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It first aired in Japan on October 30, 2022.
According to Rovian's space poems and the prophecy of Camos the hat alien, the Great King of Terror will be attacking soon. Mutsuba Heavy Machinery is holding a meeting to decide on a countermeasure against this threat, but is then contacted by Ranran out of nowhere. In order to decide who will be in charge of combating the Great King of Terror, Ranran and Asaka begin a remote Rush Duel!
Featured Duel: Ranran Nanahoshi vs. Asaka Mutsuba[edit]
This Duel is conducted as a Remote Duel. Players are bound by certain outside restrictions due to not being in the same location.
Turn 1: Asaka
Asaka's hand contains "Demolition Soldier High Kanko", "Demolition Soldier Toby Shock", "Constructor Battler Big Roller" and "Demolition Frontier Defense Tower". Asaka draws another "Toby Shock". Asaka Normal Summons two copies of "Toby Shock" (1500/0) and "High Kanko" (1200/1500). Asaka Tributes "High Kanko" to Tribute Summon "Big Roller" (1900/600). Asaka activates the Field Spell "Demolition Frontier Defense Tower". The effect of "Demolition Frontier Defense Tower" causes any non-Wyrm monster that destroys a Wyrm monster by battle to be changed to face-up Defense Position.
Turn 2: Ranran
Ranran's hand contains "Kudzu the Bruised Shadow Flower", "Shadow Flower Duplication", "Shadow Flower Sewing" and "Dahlia the Sprouting Shadow Flower". Ranran draws "Blanc de Blanc the Snow Shadow Flower". Ranran Normal Summons "Dahlia" (200/1500). Ranran Tributes "Dahlia" to Tribute Summon "Blanc de Blanc" (1900/1000). Since Ranran has a Plant Normal Monster in her her Graveyard, she activates "Shadow Flower Sewing", allowing her to send the top 3 cards of her Deck to the Graveyard to choose a monster Asaka controls and have that monster lose 100 ATK for each Plant Normal Monster in Ranran's Graveyard until the end of this turn, then if Ranran has a Level 5 Normal Monster in her Graveyard, she can destroy all face-up Level 7 or higher Normal Monsters Asaka controls. Ranran sends "Dahlia" and two copies of "Blanc de Blanc" from the top of her Deck to the Graveyard and chooses "Big Rollan", so she has 4 Plant Normal Monsters in her Graveyard ("Big Rollan": 1900/600 → 1500/600). Ranran activates the Spell Card "Shadow Flower Duplication", placing a card from her hand on the bottom of her Deck to Special Summon up to two Plant Type Normal Monsters from her Graveyard whose Levels are less than or equal to the Level of a Plant Type Normal Monster she controls, then if she controls a Level 5 monster, she can destroy all Level 7 or higher Normal Monsters Manabu controls. Ranran controls the Level 5 "Blanc de Blanc", so she places "Kudzu" from her hand on the bottom of her Deck and Special Summon two copies of the Level 5 "Blanc de Blanc" (1900/1000) from her Graveyard in Attack Position. One copy of "Blanc de Blanc" attacks and destroys a "Toby Shock" (Asaka: 4000 → 3600 LP). Due to the effect of "Demolition Frontier Defense Tower", the copy of "Blanc de Blanc" that just attacked is changed to face-up Defense Position. The remaining two copies of "Blanc de Blanc" attack and destroy "Toby Shock" and "Big Rollan" (Asaka: 3600 → 3200 → 2800 LP). Due to the effect of "Demolition Frontier Defense Tower", the two copies of "Blanc de Blanc" that just attacked are changed to face-up Defense Position.
Turn 3: Asaka
Asaka draws "Demolition Dragon Blasthamut", "Disaster Mining", two copies of "Demolition Soldier Sakan Yasan" and "High Kanko". Asaka Normal Summons "Sakan Yasan" (1300/800). Asaka activates "Disaster Mining", allowing her to shuffle 2 Wyrm monsters with the same name from her Graveyard into her Deck to Special Summon 2 Level 4 or lower Normal Monsters with the same name from Ranran's Graveyard to her field. Asaka shuffles two copies of "Toby Shock" from her Graveyard into her Deck and Special Summons two copies of "Dahlia" (200/1500) from Ranran's Graveyard to her field in face-up Defense Position. Asaka Tributes both copies of "Dahlia" to Tribute Summon "Blasthamut" (2500/2000). Asaka activates the effect of "Blasthamut" since there is a face-up Field Spell on the field, allowing her to send 2 Wyrm Normal Monsters from her hand to the Graveyard to destroy all face-up Level 8 or lower monsters Ranran controls, then inflict 300 damage to Ranran for each monster destroyed by this effect. Asaka sends "Sakan Yasan" and "High Kanko" from her hand to the Graveyard and destroy the three copies of "Blanc de Blanc" (Ranran: 4000 → 3100 LP). "Sakan Yasan" and "Blasthamut" attack Ranran directly (Ranran: 3100 → 1800 → 0 LP).
