Summary[edit]

Yudias confronts Zuwijo over what constitutes true peace.

Featured Duel: Yudias Velgear vs Zuwijo zir Velgear[edit]

The Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.

Turn 1: Yudias
Yudias Sets two cards. Yudias Normal Summons "Vortex Shooter" (1400/1000), "Giant Bulge" (1300/1300) and "Bright Sentinel" (1500/100).

Turn 2: Zuwijo
Zuwijo Sets a card. Zuwijo Normal Summons "Voidvelgr Peltast" (0/1500) and "Voidvelgr Hoplites" (1500/100). Zuwijo Tributes "Peltast" and "Hoplites" to Tribute Summon "Voidvelgr Transi" (2400/2000). As "Transi" was Normal or Special Summoned this turn, Zuwijo activates its effect to destroy all face-up Normal Monsters on the field, then increase its ATK by 300 for each monster destroyed this way until the end of this turn, but he cannot attack for the rest of this turn, except with this card. Zuwijo destroys "Vortex Shooter", "Giant Bulge" and "Bright Sentinel" ("Transi": 2400/2000 → 3300/2000). As two or more face-up Normal Monsters on Yudias' field were destroyed at the same time by Zuwijo's card effect, Yudias activates his face-down "Brutal Retribution" to Special Summon up to two monsters from his Graveyard face-up to his field. Yudias Special Summons "Vortex Shooter" (1400/1000) and "Bright Sentinel" (1500/100) from his Graveyard in face-up Defense Position. "Transi" attacks and destroys "Bright Sentinel". As Zuwijo ends his turn, the ATK of "Transi" returns to its original value ("Transi": 3300/2000 → 2400/2000).

Turn 3: Yudias
Yudias Sets a card. Yudias Normal Summons "Asteroeva" (900/100) and "Interstellime" (1000/0). Yudias Tributes "Asteroeva" and "Interstellime" to Tribute Summon "Galactica Oblivion" (2500/2500). Yudias changes "Vortex Shooter" from face-up Defense Position to Attack Position. Yudias Normal Summons "Vortex Shooter" (1400/1000). Yudias activates his face-down "Galactica Force", shuffling three Galaxy Type monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck to increase the ATK of all face-up Galaxy Type Normal Monsters on his field by 300 for each face-up Normal Monster on the field until the end of this turn. Yudias shuffles three unknown monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck ("Vortex Shooter" x2: 1400/1000 → 2300/1000) ("Oblivion": 2500/2500 → 3400/2500). "Oblivion" attacks "Transi", but as Yudias' Level 8 or lower monster with 2500 or more original ATK declared an attack, Zuwijo activates his face-down "Hardefense Mission" to destroy the attacking monster. Zuwijo destroys "Oblivion". As Yudias ends his turn, the ATK of the two "Vortex Shooter" return to their original values ("Vortex Shooter" x2: 2300/1000 → 1400/1000).

Turn 4: Zuwijo
Zuwijo Normal Summons "Peltast" (0/1500) and "Hoplites" (1500/100). Zuwijo Tributes "Peltast" and "Hoplites" to Tribute Summon "Voidvelgr Requiem" (2500/2000). Zuwijo Normal Summons "Voidvelgr Pale Rider" (1600/0). Zuwijo activates the effect of "Requiem", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by 300 for each face-up DARK Attribute monster on his field until the end of this turn, then if Yudias has a face-up LIGHT Attribute monster on his field, "Requiem" gains 600 ATK until the end of this turn. Zuwijo sends an unknown card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Requiem": 2500/2000 → 4000/2000). "Pale Rider" attacks and destroys "Vortex Shooter" (Yudias: 4000 → 3800 LP). "Transi" attacks and destroys "Vortex Shooter" (Yudias: 3800 → 2800 LP).

Duel continues in the next Rush.
