Summary[edit]

The rematch between Shoma and Ohza continues with a fierce exchange of effects. Even with the champion's full power, Shoma seems to be able to breakthrough! How will the "zero feelings" Duelist respond...?

Featured Duel: Shoma Yusa vs Ohza Akaboshi[edit]

Duel continues from the previous chapter.

Turn 3: Shoma
Shoma has just destroyed Ohza's "Aleister the Invoker" and "Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon". Since it left the field, the effect of "Mirrorjade" activates, making it so that it will destroy all of Shoma's monsters during the End Phase of this turn. Since Ohza's monsters were destroyed, Shoma activates the effect of "Magikey Dragon - Andrabime" to draw 1 card. Ohza chains with the effect of "Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous", Tributing herself to Special Summon a 3rd "Fallen of Albaz" from his Deck. The effect of "Andrabime" resolves, with Shoma drawing a card. Upon its Special Summon, Ohza activates the effect of "Fallen of Albaz", discarding a 2nd "Branded Fusion" in an attempt to use Shoma's "Andrabime" as a Fusion Material, but Shoma chains with the card he's just drawn - "Magikey Battle", shuffling the 2nd "Clavkiys, the Magikey Skyblaster" from his GY to the Deck and making his own monsters be unaffected by the effect of "Fallen of Albaz". Hence, the latter resolves with no effect. Shoma enters his Battle Phase. "Andrabime" attacks and destroys "Dogmatika Fleurdelis, the Knighted", while "Magikey Mechmusket - Batosbuster" attacks and destroys "Dogmatika Ecclesia, the Virtuous" (Ohza's LP: 8000 → 7200). As Shoma enters his End Phase, the effect of Ohza's "Mirrorjade" destroys both of his monsters. Furthermore, Ohza activates the effect of "Incredible Ecclesia" in his GY, adding itself to his hand as a Fusion Monster was sent to his GY this turn. At this point, Shoma's hand currently contains the 2nd copy of "Magikey Mechmusket - Batosbuster".

Turn 4: Ohza
Ohza Normal Summons "Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous", and attacks Shoma directly with it and "Fallen of Albaz" (Shoma's LP: 5300 → 2000). During his Main Phase 2, he tunes both monsters to Synchro Summon "Draco Berserker of the Tenyi". At this point, Ohza's hand currently contains "Fusion Deployment".

Turn 5: Shoma
Shoma activates "Pot of Desires", banishing the top 10 cards of his Deck face-down to draw 2 cards - "Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands" and "Magikey Duo". He Normal Summons "Manju" and activates its effect, adding "Advanced Ritual Art" to his hand. Shoma subsequently activates "Advanced Ritual Art", sending "Beckoned by the World Chalice" from his Deck to the GY to Ritual Summon the 2nd "Batosbuster" from his hand. Upon its Ritual Summon, the effect of "Batosbuster" activates, allowing Shoma to add a 2nd "Maginificent Magikey Mafteal" from his Deck to his hand. He activates the effect of "Mafteal" from his hand, but Ohza chains with the effect of "Draco Berserker", banishing "Mafteal".

At this point, some steps are skipped. Shoma now controls "Magikey Mechmusket - Batosbuster" and a 2nd "Magikey Dragon - Andrabime", both in Attack Position - besides his Field Spell Card "Magikey World". He activates the effect of "Andrabime" by selecting "Clavkiys" in his GY - allowing him to destroy Ohza's "Draco Berserker". Furthermore, since he destroyed a monster, the effect of "Andrabime" allows him to draw 1 card. "Batosbuster" and "Andrabime" attack Ohza directly (Ohza's LP: 7200 → 2500).

Duel continues in the next chapter.
