Summary[edit]

Despite Luke's awakening of a new Summon, Neiru quickly shows him that there's more to what it takes. Now, if he wants to defeat the "King's Maximum", he must show that he is a true Duelist.

Featured Duel: Tatsuhisa "Luke" Kamijo vs Neiru Saionji[edit]

Duel continues from the previous Supremacy.

Luke has 1600 LP, "Great Multistrike Dragon Dragias Burst [L]" (1500/0), "Great Multistrike Dragon Dragias Burst" (2000/0) and "Great Multistrike Dragon Dragias Burst [R]" (1500/0) face-up on his field, all in Maximum Mode (3500), and three face-down cards in his Spell & Trap Zones; Neiru has 1300 LP and no cards on his field.

Turn 3: Luke
As Luke ends his turn, the effect of "Dragias Burst [L]" shuffles it into his Deck.

Turn 4: Neiru
Neiru activates the Spell Card "Heavenly Gift" to send any number of monsters from his hand to the Graveyard, and if the total Levels of those monsters sent to the Graveyard this way is 10 or higher, he can draw two cards. Neiru sends "Shrinker Shrimp", "Femtron" and "Yoctron" from his hand to the Graveyard and draws two unknown cards. Neiru Maximum Summons "Yggdrago the Sky Emperor [L]" (900/0), "Yggdrago the Sky Emperor" (2000/0) and "Yggdrago the Sky Emperor [R]" (600/0) in Maximum Mode (4000). As Neiru Normal or Special Summoned a monster, Luke activates his face-down Trap Card "Dragon Encounter" to Special Summon a Dragon Type monster from his hand face-up to his field. Luke Special Summons "Illusion Strike Dragon Miragias" (2500/1500) from his hand in Defense Position. As "Yggdrago [L]" is in Maximum Mode, Neiru activates its effect, sending the top three cards of his Deck to the Graveyard to destroy a face-up Level 8 or lower monster on Luke's field. Neiru sends three unknown cards from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard and destroys "Miragias". As a face-up Dragon Type monster on Luke's field was destroyed by Neiru's card effect, Luke activates his face-down Trap Card "Dragon Enduro" to Special Summon a Dragon Type monster from his Graveyard face-up to his field, except one of the monsters that was destroyed. Luke Special Summons "Multistrike Dragon Dragias" (2500/1500) from his Graveyard in Defense Position. As "Yggdrago [R]" is in Maximum Mode, Neiru activates its effect, sending the top three cards of his Deck to the Graveyard to change a Defense Position monster on Luke's field to face-up Attack Position. Neiru sends three unknown cards from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard and changes "Dragias" to Attack Position. "Yggdrago" attacks and destroys "Dragias" (Luke: 1600 → 100 LP).

Turn 5: Luke
Luke draws "Pot of Greed", "Dragon's Inferno", "Vengeful Dragon's Counterattack", "Muddy Ball" and "Mountain". Luke activates the Spell Card "Pot of Greed" to draw two cards. Luke draws "Muddy Dragon" and "Dragias Burst [L]". Luke Normal Summons "Muddy Dragon" (600/???). Luke activates the effect of "Muddy Dragon" to send the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, then if he sent a Dragon Type monster to the Graveyard this way, he draws a card. Luke sends "Dragias Burst" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, then draws "Phoenix Dragon". Luke Normal Summons "Phoenix Dragon" (500/500). Luke activates the effect of "Phoenix Dragon", sending a card from his hand to the Graveyard to add a Level 5 or higher Dragon Type monster from his Graveyard to his hand. Luke sends an unknown card from his hand to the Graveyard and adds "Dragias Burst" from his Graveyard to his hand. Luke activates the Spell Card "Muddy Ball", sending all face-up Dragon Type monsters from his field to the Graveyard to draw cards equal to the number of monsters sent to the Graveyard this way. Luke sends "Muddy Dragon" and "Phoenix Dragon" from his field to the Graveyard and draws "Dragias Burst [R]" and an unknown card. Luke Maximum Summons "Dragias Burst [L]" (1500/0), "Dragias Burst" (2000/0) and "Dragias Burst [R]" (1500/0) in Maximum Mode (3500). As "Dragias Burst [L]" is in Maximum Mode, Luke activates its effect, sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to allow it to make up to three attacks on monsters during this turn, but it is shuffled into the owner's Deck during the End Phase of this turn. Luke sends an unknown card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard. As "Dragias Burst [R]" is in Maximum Mode, Luke activates its effect, sending three cards from his hand to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by 1000 until the end of this turn. Luke sends three unknown cards from his hand to the Graveyard ("Dragias Burst": 3500 → 4500). Luke activates his face-down Spell Card "Dragonic Stitch" to shuffle three monsters from Neiru's Graveyard into the Deck, then he prevents a face-up monster on Neiru's field from being destroyed by battle until the end of this turn. Luke shuffles three unknown monsters from Neiru's Graveyard into the Deck, then chooses "Yggdrago". "Dragias Burst" attacks "Yggdrago" thrice (Neiru: 1300 → 800 → 300 → 0 LP).
