Summary[edit]

Luke and his gang run into Jango, a man who was forbidden to Rush Duel and is suffering from a draw deficiency. Luke offers to help him by Dueling.

Featured Duel: Luke vs Jango Arisugawa[edit]

Turn 1: Luke
Luke Normal Summons "Dragon's Setupper" and "Dragon Bat". He Tributes both monsters to Tribute Summon "Multistrike Dragon Dragias". Luke activates "Pot of Greed", drawing 2 cards. Next, he Sets 3 cards.

Turn 2: Jango
Jango Normal Summons 2 copies of "Ant of Justice", and subsequently activates the effect of both, each allowing him to draw 1 card. He Tributes both monsters to Tribute Summon "Antbellion of the Rebellion". He also Normal Summons "Ants Running About" and "Oppressed Ants". Jango activates the effect of "Antbellion", paying 100 LP (Jango: 4000 → 3900) to increase the ATKs of all his ants ("Antbellion": ATK 100 → 2500) ("Ants Running About": ATK 100 → 2500) ("Oppressed Ants": ATK 100 → 2500). Next, he activates "Brilli-Ant Draw", drawing 3 cards - "Ants Running About", "Oppressed Ants" and "United Resist-Ants". Since all 3 cards were ants, the ATKs of his monsters increase by 600 ("Antbellion": ATK 2500 → 3100) ("Ants Running About": ATK 2500 → 3100) ("Oppressed Ants": ATK 2500 → 3100), and he returns all drawn ants to the Deck. Janto Sets 1 card and enters his Battle Phase. "Oppressed Ants" attacks and destroys "Dragias" (Luke: 4000 → 3400). "Ants Running About" attacks Luke directly (Luke: 3400 → 300). Jango declares an attack with "Antbellion", but Luke activates his face-down "7 Chance", allowing him to draw 3 cards - "Dragolite", "Nightbringer Dragon" and "Lightbringer Dragon". Since he drew 2 Level 7 monsters, Luke gains 3000 LP (Luke: 300 → 3300). The attack resumes (Luke: 3300 → 200). As Jango ends his turn, the ATKs of his monsters return to their original values ("Antbellion": ATK 3100 → 100) ("Ants Running About": ATK 3100 → 100) ("Oppressed Ants": ATK 3100 → 100).

Turn 3: Luke
Luke Normal Summons "Dragon's Priestess" and "Palm-Sized Drago". He Tributes both monsters to Tribute Summon "Nightbringer Dragon", and subsequently activates its effect, allowing Jango to draw 2 cards and inflicting 200 damage to his LP (Jango: 3900 → 3700). Luke activates "Dragonic Advance Return", allowing him to add "Dragon's Priestess" and "Palm-Sized Drago" from the GY to his hand. He proceeds to Normal Summon and Tribute both monsters again, Tribute Summoning "Lightbringer Dragon". Luke sends a card from his hand to the GY to activate its effect, returning both cards in Jango's hand to the top of the Deck and inflicting 200 damage to his LP (Jango: 3700 → 3500). Luke enters his Battle Phase and declares an attack with his Dragons; however, Jango activates his face-down "Gi-Ant Revolution", destroying all of Luke's monsters. Luke activates his face-down "Cylinder of Chaos Slots", allowing Jango to draw 3 cards - "Ants Running About", "Oppressed Ants" and "United Resist-Ants". Since all 3 were monsters, Luke may Special Summon 2 monsters with the same ATK from his GY - he Special Summons "Nightbringer Dragon" and "Lightbringer Dragon". Both Dragons attack Jango's monsters (Jango: 3500 → 0).
