"The Mean-Spirited Man" (いじわるな男（おとこ） Ijiwaru na Otoko) is the seventeenth chapter of the Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS Luke! Explosive Supremacy Legend!! manga. It was first published January 21, 2022, in the V Jump magazine.

Summary

Luke and Yuga decide to settle their matters in an all-out battle.

The Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.

Turn 1: Yuga
Yuga Normal Summons "Kuribot" (300/200). Yuga Tributes "Kuribot" to Tribute Summon "Sevens Road Witch" (1600/1000). Yuga activates the effect of "Witch", sending a card from his hand to the Graveyard to Special Summon a Level 7 or higher DARK Attribute Spellcaster Type monster from his hand face-up to his field, and if he Special Summoned "Sevens Road Magician" this way, "Witch" gains 400 ATK until the end of this turn. Yuga sends "Raidacross, Hero of the Dusk" from his hand to the Graveyard and Special Summons "Magician" (2100/1500) from his hand in Attack Position ("Witch": 1600/1000 → 2000/1000). Yuga activates the effect of "Magician", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by the number of different Attributes in his Graveyard x 300 until the end of this turn. Yuga sends "Pierce!" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Magician": 2100/1500 → 2400/1500). Yuga Sets a card in his Spell & Trap Zone. As Yuga ends his turn, the ATK of "Magician" and "Witch" returns to normal ("Magician": 2400/1500 → 2100/1500; "Witch": 2000/1000 → 1600/1000).

Turn 2: Luke
Luke draws "Multistrike Dragon Dragias". Luke Normal Summons "Sportsdragon Pitcher" (0/1000) and "Muddy Dragon" (600/???). Luke activates the effect of "Muddy Dragon" to send the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard, then if he sent a Dragon Type monster to the Graveyard this way, he draws a card. Luke sends "Orebreaker Dragon Mine Groundra" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, then draws an unknown card. Luke Tributes "Pitcher" and "Muddy Dragon" to Tribute Summon "Dragias" (2500/1500). Luke Sets three cards in his Spell & Trap Zones. Luke activates the effect of "Dragias", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to this turn allow it to make a second attack during the Battle Phase it destroyed a monster by battle. Luke sends an unknown card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard. "Dragias" attacks and destroys "Witch" and "Magician" (Yuga: 4000 → 3100 → 2700 LP).

Turn 3: Yuga
Yuga Maximum Summons "Supreme Wildgleam Magnum Overlord [L]" (400/0), "Supreme Wildgleam Magnum Overlord" (1900/0) and "Supreme Wildgleam Magnum Overlord [R]" (500/0) in Maximum Mode (3500). As "Magnum Overlord [L]" is in Maximum Mode, its Continuous Effect increases its ATK by the number of monsters on Luke's field x 500 ("Magnum Overlord": 3500 → 4000). Yuga Sets two cards in his Spell & Trap Zones. "Magnum Overlord" attacks and destroys "Dragias" (Luke: 4000 → 2500 LP; "Magnum Overlord": 4000 → 3500).

Turn 4: Luke
Luke Normal Summons "Sportsdragon Slugger" (1000/0) ("Magnum Overlord": 3500 → 4000). As Luke has no other monsters on his field, he activates the effect of "Slugger" to Special Summon a "Pitcher" from his Graveyard to his field in face-up Defense Position, but this turn his Level 6 and lower monsters cannot attack. Luke Special Summons "Pitcher" (0/1000) from his Graveyard in Defense Position ("Magnum Overlord": 4000 → 4500). Luke Tributes "Slugger" and "Pitcher" to Tribute Summon "Cladsoul Dragon Gaigias" (2500/1500) ("Magnum Overlord": 4500 → 4000). Luke activates his face-down Spell Card "Dragon's Return", shuffling three Dragon Type monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck to draw a card. Luke shuffles "Muddy Dragon", "Mine Groundra" and "Slugger" from his Graveyard into the Deck and draws an unknown card. Luke activates the Spell Card "Pot of Greed" to draw two cards. Luke draws two unknown cards. Luke activates the effect of "Gaigias", sending a card from his hand to the Graveyard to send it from his field to the Graveyard, then he Special Summons a Level 7 Dragon Type monster from his hand to his field in face-up Attack Position, and he increases its ATK by 1500 until the end of this turn. Luke sends "Draco the Tiny" from his hand to the Graveyard and sends "Gaigias" from his field to the Graveyard, then Special Summons "Nullstrike Dragon Zerogias" (2500/1500 → 4000/1500) from his hand in Attack Position.
