Summary[edit]

Yuga and Luke agree to go all out against each other in a breath-taking match!

Featured Duel: Luke vs Yuga Ohdo[edit]

Duel continues from the previous chapter.

Turn 4: Luke
Luke activates "Dark Rise", decreasing the Level of Yuga's "Supreme Beast Magnum Overlord" by 2 ("Supreme Beast Magnum Overlord": Level 10 → 8) and Special Summoning "Cladsoul Dragon Gaigias" from his GY in Attack Position. Since Luke now controls 2 monsters, the effect of "Supreme Beast Magnum Overlord" increases its own ATK ("Supreme Beast Magnum Overlord": ATK 4500). Since "Supreme Beast Magnum Overlord" is now Level 8, Luke attempts to activate the effect of "Nullstrike Dragon Zerogias"; however, Yuga reveals the last effect of "Supreme Beast Magnum Overlord": monsters whose Level are lower than the Level of "Magnum Overlord" cannot activate their effects during the turn they are Special Summoned. Luke activates "Ship of Seven Treasures", sending a Level 7 Dragon from his hand to the GY and drawing 2 cards. Next, he activates "Fusion", fusing "Zerogias" and "Gaigias" to Fusion Summon "Void Strike Dragon Zerogaigias". Since Luke now controls a single monster, the ATK of "Supreme Beast Magnum Overlord" goes down ("Supreme Beast Magnum Overlord": ATK 4000). Luke activates the Multi-Choice effect of "Zerogaigias", choosing the 1st effect: the original ATK of all monsters Yuga controls becomes 0 ("Supreme Beast Magnum Overlord": ATK 500), and it can attack monsters twice this turn. He Sets 1 card and enters his Battle Phase. "Zerogaigias" attacks "Magnum Overlord", but Yuga shuffles "Sevens Road Magician" and "Sevens Road Witch" from his GY into the Deck to activate his face-down "Wind Spirit's Surplus", increasing the ATK of "Magnum Overlord" by the Level of "Zerogaigias" x200 ("Supreme Beast Magnum Overlord": ATK 500 → 2300) and preventing it from being destroyed by this battle. The attack continues (Yuga's LP: 2700 → 1700). "Zerogaigias" attacks a second time, destroying "Magnum Overlord" (Yuga's LP: 1700 → 700).

Turn 5: Yuga
Yuga activates "Graceful Charity", drawing 3 cards and sending 2 cards from his hand to the GY - he sends "Sevens Road Magician" and "Sevens Road Witch". He Normal Summons "Sevens Road Mage" and "Sevens Road Enchanter". Yuga activates the effect of "Mage", sending the top card of his Deck to the GY - "Sevens Road Warlock" - to decrease the ATK of "Zerogaigias" by 400 ("Zerogaigias": ATK 3300 → 2900). Next, he activates the effect of "Enchanter", sending the top card of his Deck to the GY - "Dark Revelation" - to return "Mage" to his hand. Yuga Normal Summons "Mage" again and subsequently activates its effect, sending the top card of his Deck to the GY - "Kuripotriple" - to further decrease the ATK of "Zerogaigias" by 400 ("Zerogaigias": ATK 2900 → 2500). Next, Yuga Normal Summons "Sevens Road Sorcerer" and activates its effect, sending the three monsters he controls to the GY to Special Summons "Sevens Road Magician" and "Sevens Road Witch" from his GY. He activates the effect of "Sevens Road Magician", sending the top card of his Deck to the GY - "Sevens Road Wiz" to increase its ATK by 300 for each Attribute in Yuga's GY ("Sevens Road Magician": ATK 2100 → 2400). Yuga activates "Fusion".

Duel continues in the next chapter.
