Summary[edit]

After a fierce exchange of effects, the battle between Luke and his rival Yuga comes to a conclusion. However, this is just the beginning of Luke's journey towards becoming a king!

Featured Duel: Luke vs Yuga Ohdo[edit]

Duel continues from the previous chapter.

Turn 5: Yuga
Yuga fuses "Sevens Road Magician" and "Sevens Road Witch" to Fusion Summon "Master of Sevens Road". Its continuous effect increases its ATK by 300 for each DARK Spellcaster monster in Yuga's Graveyard ("Master of Sevens Road": ATK 3000 → 5100). Yuga Sets a card. "Master of Sevens Road" attacks, but Luke activates his face-down "Dragon's Fortitude" to decrease its ATK by the Level of "Lightbringer Dragon" in his Graveyard x100 ("Master of Sevens Road": ATK 5100 → 4400). The attack continues, and "Void Strike Dragon Zerogaigias" is destroyed (Luke's LP: 2500 → 600).

Turn 6: Luke
Luke activates "Triple Seven", allowing him to add "Cladsoul Dragon Gaigias", "Nullstrike Dragon Zerogias" and "Multistrike Dragon Dragias" from his Graveyard to his hand, in exchange for being unable to Normal Summon this turn. He Maximum Summons "Great Multistrike Dragon Dragias Burst", "Great Multistrike Dragon Dragias Burst [L]" and "Great Multistrike Dragon Dragias Burst [R]" from his hand. Luke activates the effects of "Dragias Burst", sending 3 cards from his hand to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by 1000 ("Dragias Burst": ATK 3500 → 4500), and sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Muddy Dragon") to allow it to attack monsters thrice this turn. Next, he activates "Dragonic Stitch", shuffling "Sevens Road Magician", "Sevens Road Witch" and "Sevens Road Warlock" from Yuga's Graveyard into the Deck ("Master of Sevens Road": ATK 5100 → 4200) and preventing "Master of Sevens Road" from being destroyed by battle. "Dragias Burst" attacks "Master of Sevens Road" twice (Yuga's LP: 700 → 400 → 100). "Dragias Burst" attacks for the third time, but Yuga activates his face-down "Reversal Charge", increasing the ATK of "Master of Sevens Road" by the difference in LP between Luke and him ("Master of Sevens Road": ATK 4200 → 4700). "Dragias Burst" is destroyed (Luke's LP: 600 → 400). Upon its destruction, Luke activates his face-down "Auguste Dragon's Counterattack", shuffling the three pieces of "Dragias Burst" and "Nullstrike Dragon Zerogias" from his Graveyard into the Deck to destroy "Master of Sevens Road" and Special Summon "Multistrike Dragon Dragias" from his Graveyard. Upon its Special Summon, Yuga activates his face-down "Necromance", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Sevens Road Magician") to Special Summon a monster from his Graveyard - he chooses "Sevens Road Magician". "Dragias" attacks "Sevens Road Magician", but Yuga activates his face-down "Seven Crossroad", returning both battling monsters to the Decks. Since "Sevens Road Magician" left the field, the effect of "Necromance" allows both players to draw 1 card. Upon Yuga's draw, Luke activates his face-down "Daor of Dragon", allowing both players to Special Summon a monster from their hand in Attack Position. Luke Special Summons "Multistrike Dragon Dragias", while Yuga Special Summons "Sevens Road Magician". "Dragias" attacks and destroys "Sevens Road Magician" (Yuga's LP: 100 → 0).
