Yugipedia is an online encyclopedia for the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, including documentation and information pertaining to:

  • The anime, manga and video games
  • Real life cards, in the OCG and TCG
  • Alternative Yu-Gi-Oh!-related games, such as Dungeon Dice Monsters and Capsule Monsters
  • Documentation of past and present Yu-Gi-Oh!-related merchandise
  • Historical documentation of rulings, erratas, and artworks
  • Documentation of barcodes
  • Set lists and galleries

Yugipedia is not a publisher of original thought[edit]

  1. Personal essays that state your particular feelings about a topic (rather than hard fact). The primary goal of Yugipedia is to compile (ideally verifiable, but we know that's not always possible) knowledge of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. The secondary goal is to act as a "language" hub, holding information about Yu-Gi-Oh! on many different languages, helping smaller wikis by language branch off.
  2. Discussion forums. We realise that the fandom likes the ability to discuss whatever changes are being presented in the game, thus we have added the discussion forums. There are a few ground rules for users who wish to use it.
  • Be civil
  • Be courteous
  • Strive to help, not hinder
  • No flaming

We are not a blog, web space provider, or social networking site[edit]

  1. Personal web pages. Wiki editors have their own user pages. You can use that, and subpages to store your decks on, etc. We ask in return that you edit the wiki at least once in a while. We're no longer allowing user-made cards, we instead encourage you to use the Yu-Gi-Oh! Custom Wiki instead.
  2. File storage areas. Please upload only files that are used (or will be used) in encyclopedia articles or project pages; anything else will be deleted.
