For trivia pertaining to this monster's Number, see Forum:"Numbers" Xyz Monster Trivia. Any contributions regarding this type of trivia should be placed there, instead of this page.
  • The number "32" appears on the left side of this monster's chest.
    • This monster's number can still be read as "32" even if it is upside-down. This could possibly reflect this monster's duality of being used for good despite its dark nature, in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime.
  • This monster could be considered the antithesis to "Number 39: Utopia".
    • "Utopia" relies on pure defensive strategies by negating attacks, while this monster relies on pure offensive strategies, Special Summoning the opponent's monster it destroyed by battle and attacking it again, causing even more damage to the opponent.
    • Both monsters' "Number C" forms, after undergoing Chaos Xyz Evolution, have opposing color schemes with their base forms. "Utopia" has a primarily bright color scheme while "Number C39: Utopia Ray" has a primarily darker color scheme. This monster has a darker scheme while "Shark Drake Veiss" has a lighter color scheme.
