I am curious of that "Relinquished" that had a lore - If this card is destroyed by battle, the equipped monster is destroyed instead, and any battle damage you received from the battle is also inflicted to your opponent. - would mean that if I had losing the duel when I had 1400 Life Points while attacked the non-armored "Relinquished" with my "Number 61: Volcasaurus" OR I have won the duel when my opponent lost an equip card on "Relinquished" after I attacked it with my Gorz (2700 > 2500) then attacked it with my "Number 61: Volcasaurus" after I took 200 damages (1600 LP -> 1400)?
