- This monster's name is a portmanteau of Heartland and draco. The former is a reference to Heartland City and possibly Mr. Heartland himself. The latter is latin for dragon.
- This monster appears to have a wind-up key in its belly, similar to the Wind-Up monsters.
- If you add 8 and 2 together you get 10, then if added together, the result is one, the "Number" monster Mr. Heartland received in the Anime.
