"Transcendental State! The Threatening Double Rank-Up!!" is the one hundredth and ninteenth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime. It first aired in Japan on September 1, 2013.

Yuma begins a Duel against the one who kept attacking him again and again, the will of the Astral World: Eliphas! The Astral World’s Duels aim to Rank-Up, and everything is capable of Shining Draw. Eliphas Summons one Rank-Up Monster after another, cornering Yuma! To save Astral who has been destined to die for meeting Yuma, Yuma wages a desperate battle, but can he escape from the brutal attacks of Eliphas's Rank-Up Monsters...!?

Turn 3: Eliphas
Eliphas performs a Shining Draw. He then activates "Rank-Up Advantage" which allows him to draw 1 card whenever he Special Summons a Xyz Monster by the effect of a "Rank-Up-Magic" Spell Card. He then activates "Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force", Double Ranking Up "New Orders 4 Etheric Anubis" to Special Summon "New Orders 6 Etheric Apophis" (2500/1500) in Attack Position. By the effect of "Rank-Up Advantage", Eliphas is allowed to draw 1 more card and he performs another Shining Draw. He then activates the effect of "Apophis", detaching an Overlay Unit, he targets "Number 39: Utopia" and it loses 2000 ATK (Utopia 2500/2000 → 500/2000). He then activates the other effect of "Rank-Up Advantage", which allows him to negate the effects of his opponent's monster that is targeted for an attack by an Xyz Monster Special Summoned by a "Rank-Up-Magic" Card. He then declares the attack of "Apophis" on "Utopia" whose effect is negated. In return Yuma activates "Half Unbreak", targeting "Utopia" and halving the battle damage (Yuma 4000 → 3000). Eliphas Sets a card.

Turn 4: Yuma
Yuma draws "Rank-Up-Magic Numeron Force" and activates it, Ranking Up "Utopia" and performing a Chaos Xyz Evolution to Special Summon "Number C39: Utopia Ray Victory (2800/2500) in Attack Position. Due to the effect of "Numeron Force", the effects of all cards on the field are negated, except for "Utopia Ray Victory". "Utopia Ray Victory" attacks "Apophis". Yuma activates the effect of "Utopia Ray Victory", detaching an Overlay Unit to add the ATK of "Apophis" to its own (2800 → 5300). "Apophis" is destroyed (Eliphas 4000 → 1200). At this point, Eliphas activates his face-down "Ascension Spiral", which allows him to banish 1 Xyz Monster from his Graveyard that was destroyed this turn and Special Summon from his Extra Deck 1 Xyz Monster that is 2 Ranks higher than the banished monster, while ignoring its Summoning conditions. Via this effect, Eliphas Special Summons "New Orders 8 Etheric Sebek" (3000/2000) from his Extra Deck in Attack Position.

Turn 5: Eliphas
By the other effect of "Astral Force", during his Draw Phase, instead of conducting his normal draw, Eliphas adds "Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force" from his Graveyard to his hand. He then uses it to Double Rank Up "Sebek" and Special Summon "New Orders 10 Etheric Horus" (3500/2500) in Attack Position. And by the effect of "Rank-Up Advantage", Eliphas is allowed to draw 1 more card and he performs a Shining Draw, drawing another copy of "Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force". He immediately activates it, Double Ranking Up "Horus" and Special Summoning "New Orders 12 Etheric Mahes" (4000/3000) in Attack Position. Again because of the effect of "Rank-Up Advantage", Eliphas is allowed to draw 1 more card, and thus performs another Shining Draw. He then activates the effect of "Mahes", which allows him to Special Summon all Xyz Materials attached to it on the field. This Special Summons "Sebek" & "Horus". He then activates the effect of "Rank Domination", whose effect doesn't allow a Monsters without Rank to declare an attack and monsters can only attack in order of their Rank, starting from the lowest. Eliphas declares the attack of "Sebek" on "Utopia Ray Victory", at this moment Yuma activates the effect of "Utopia Ray Victory" and add "Sebek" ATK to its own (2800 → 5800). Eliphas applies the other effect of "Rank Domination": when battle between 2 monsters that have Ranks occurs, the monster with the lower Rank loses ATK equal to the difference in Ranks × 1000, during the Damage Step only. Via this effect, "Utopia Ray Victory" loses 3 x 1000 ATK (5800 → 2800) annd the attack continues (Yuma 3000 → 2800), but since "Number" monsters can only be destroyed by another Number monster, "Utopia Ray Victory" isn't destroyed by battle with "Sebek" and its ATK returns to 5800 afterwards. Next, Eliphas declares the attack of "Horus" on "Utopia Ray Victory" and applies the effect of "Rank Domination", reducing the ATK of "Utopia Ray Victory" by 5 x 1000 (5800 → 800) and the attack continues (Yuma 2800 → 100). "Utopia Ray Victory" isn't destroyed because of its effect and its ATK returns to 5800. Eliphas declares the attack of "Mahes" on "Utopia Ray Victory". The effect of "Rank Domination" applies, reducing the ATK of "Utopia Ray Victory" by 7 x 1000 (5800 → 0).
