- This card is called "Magic Arm Shield".
- This card does not take control of the opponent's monster, and thus, the controller's opponent takes all battle damage.
Battle City
- In episode 64, Joey Wheeler uses this card during his Duel against Weevil Underwood. When Weevil's "Insect Queen" attacks Joey's "Panther Warrior", Joey activates this card change the attack target to Weevil's "Insect Soldiers of the Sky", destroying it instead.
- In episode 69, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Mako Tsunami. When Mako's "Fortress Whale" attacks Joey's "Panther Warrior", Joey activates this card to change the attack target to Mako's "The Legendary Fisherman", destroying it instead.
- In episode 76, this card is shown in Joey's hand during his Duel against Yugi Muto while the former was possessed by Marik Ishtar. Yugi took this card from Joey's hand via "Exchange". In the next episode, when Joey's "Rocket Warrior" attacks Yugi's "Beta the Magnet Warrior", Yugi activates this card to change the attack target to Mako's "Panther Warrior". Due to "Rocket Warrior's" effect, it is not destroyed by battle and Joey takes no battle damage. After damage calculation, "Panther Warrior" loses 500 ATK until the End Phase. Joey's "Attrition" then decreases the ATK of "Panther Warrior" by the ATK of "Rocket Warrior".
Virtual World
- In episode 104, this card can be seen when Joey is selecting his Deck for his Duel against Johnson.
Waking the Dragons
- In episode 161, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Rex Raptor. When Rex's "Horned Saurus" attacks Joey's "Rocket Warrior", Joey activates this card to change the attack target to Rex's "Gilasaurus", but Rex activates "Jurassic Heart" to negate and destroy this card. The attack continues, destroying "Rocket Warrior".
- In episode 173, this card can be seen in Joey's hand during his third Duel against Mai Valentine. Joey later sets this card. Later, Mai activates "Harpie's Feather Duster" to destroy this card.
Scripted Duels
- In the non-canon duel North American WCQ 2012 Special: Joey vs. Kaiba, Joey activates this card when Seto Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" attacks Joey's "Joey Token", changing the attack target to Kaiba's other "Blue-Eyes", resulting in a double KO.
