- These cards are similar to the "Arcana Force" archetype in that they are based on Tarot Cards.
- These cards are similar to the "Koa'ki Meiru" archetype in that they revolve around the use of a specific name of spells.
- Many other cards in the OCG have the word "Madou" or
魔 導 in their Japanese names. For example "Breaker the Magical Warrior," "Defender, the Magical Knight," and "Giltia the D. Knight" all have魔 導 in their card names yet they do not support "Book of Spell" cards and are thus not related to these monsters.- Luckily there is no card currently that must be used with a "Madou/Magical" monster. All current members and support only work with either "Book of Spell" spell cards or Spellcaster-Type monsters.
