When "Guardian Dreadscythe" attacks "Dark Magician", Yugi uses this card to switch every monster on the field into Defense Mode which includes "Guardian Dreadscythe". Rafael then activates "Spirit Hunting" to switch his "Dreadscythe" back into Attack Mode and destroy both of Yami's monsters since they were both in Defense Mode.
