• This card was the last of the 3 infamous Chaos monsters to be set as Forbidden in Advanced Format; its status was Unlimited prior to the September 2006 Lists. It is currently Semi-Limited as of the January 2014 ban list.

• This card's staus on the Forbidden/Limited List has changed seven times, the second highest amount for any card behind Nobleman of Crossout's eight.

• This card was nicknamed "the poor man's Chaos" due to its common rarity, as opposed to being Secret Rare like the two Envoys.

• The two orbs in his hands symbolize LIGHT and DARK.

• This card's appearance is based off of "Dark Magician of Chaos" and "Magician of Black Chaos".
