Yu-Gi-Oh!

  • In episode 175, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Rafael. After Yami Yugi activates "Card of Sanctity" to make both players draw until they had six cards in their hand, he Special Summons this card via its own effect. Yami then Tributes this card to summon "Dark Magician Girl".
  • In episode 197, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Leon von Schroeder. After Yami Yugi activates "Pot of Greed" to draw two cards, he Special Summons this card via its own effect. Yugi then Tributes this card to summon "Dark Magician Girl".
  • In episode 200, this card appears within Yami Yugi's mind when Yami Bakura claims to him that his mind is an unsolvable maze and that he pursues games like riddles.
  • In episode 223, Yugi Muto uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. After Yugi activates "Pot of Greed" to draw two cards, he Special Summons this card through its own effect. Yugi then Tributes this card to summon "Curse of Dragon".

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light

  • During his Duel against Seto Kaiba, Yami Yugi uses "Pot of Greed" to draw this card. This activates its effect, allowing Yami Yugi to Special Summon this card. Yami Yugi then summons "Obnoxious Celtic Guardian". After Anubis interrupts the Duel and knocks Kaiba out, he takes over in Kaiba's place. On Anubis' next turn, he uses "Sphinx Teleia" to attack and destroy "Obnoxious Celtic Guardian" due to the former's effect allowing it to negate the effects of monsters that it attacks. "Andro Sphinx" then attacks and destroys this card. This activates "Andro Sphinx"'s effect, inflicting damage to Yami Yugi equal to half of this card's ATK.
