- In episode 10, Yami Yugi plays this card during his Duel against Ghost Kaiba. He uses this card to Special Summon one of Ghost Kaiba's two "Blue-Eyes White Dragons".
- In episode 13, Yami Yugi plays this card against Yami Bakura. He uses this card to his own "Cyber Commander", which contained Tristan Taylor's soul at the time. Later Yami Yugi uses the Flip Effect of "Magician of Faith" (that contained Téa Gardner's soul at the time), allowing Yami Yugi to return this card from his Graveyard to his hand. He activated it again to Special Summon his own "Flame Swordsman" (which contained Joey Wheeler's soul at the time).
- In episode 21, Yami Yugi plays this card during his Tag Duel with Joey Wheeler against the Paradox Brothers. He uses this card to Special Summon Dox's "Suijin".
- In episode 24, Seto Kaiba plays this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi to Special Summon his own "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" as a third head for his "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon"(who had its ATK reduced down to 900 thanks to the combo involving "Mammoth Graveyard", "Polymerization" and "Living Arrow").

- In episode 61, Yami Yugi and Arkana both use this card during their Duel to Special Summon their "Dark Magicians" after both "Dark Magicians" were destroyed in a Double KO.
- In episode 67, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Marik Ishtar while the latter was possessing Strings to Special Summon his own "Buster Blader". This activates the effect of "Card of Safe Return", allowing Strings to draw three cards. This also activates the second mouth effect of "Slifer the Sky Dragon", decreasing the ATK of "Buster Blader" by 2000.
- In episode 70, this card was shown in Kaiba's hand during his Tag Duel with Yami Yugi against Lumis and Umbra. In the next episode, Kaiba activates this card to Special summon his "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".
- In episode 83, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Yami Bakura to Special Summon Bakura's "Dark Necrofear". Since "Dark Necrofear" was no longer in Bakura's Graveyard, Bakura's "Dark Sanctuary" is destroyed.
- In episode 85, this card can be seen when Yugi is rebuilding his Deck.
- In episode 87, Joey Wheeler uses this card during his Duel against Odion to Special Summon his own "Alligator's Sword".
- In episode 93, this card is shown in Ishizu Ishtar's hand during her Duel against Seto Kaiba. She discards it by Kaiba's "Michizure of Doom". In the next episode, this card is shown in Ishizu's Graveyard as "Exchange of the Spirit" swaps the cards in both players' decks with the cards in their Graveyards.
- In episode 96, this card is shown in Yami Bakura's hand during his Duel against Yami Marik. Yami Marik takes this card from Yami Bakura's hand via the effect of Yami Bakura's "Exchange". In the next episode, Marik activates this card to Special Summon his own "The Winged Dragon of Ra".
- In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in Kaiba's thoughts when he learns that most Trap Cards don't work on the Egyptian God Cards and that Spell Cards affect them for only one turn.

- In episode 99, this card is shown as part of the card pool available when Yami Yugi builds his Deck.

- In episode 111, this card is seen in The Big Five's hand during their Duel against Yugi and Joey. Crump intended to use this card to revive "The Legendary Fisherman" as part of his strategy to get the upper hand again (he also planned to activate "A Legendary Ocean" which would complete his plan on rebuilding the Big Five's previous combo). However Yugi thwarts Crump's strategy by activating "Card Destruction", which forces all players to discard their hand and redraw a new one.
- In episode 118, after Yami Yugi takes over the duel for Kaiba, he uses this card during his Duel against Noah Kaiba to Special Summon Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", which was previously destroyed by Noah's "Shinato, King of a Higher Plane".
- In episode 121, Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Gozaburo Kaiba" to Special Summon his own "Ancient Lamp".
Battle City Finals
- In episode 127, Yami Marik uses this card during his Duel against Joey Wheeler to Special Summon his own "The Winged Dragon of Ra".
- In episode 132, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Kaiba to Special Summon his own "Dark Magician". Later "Dark Magician" attacks "Lord of Dragons", but Seto activates "Magical Trick Mirror" to copy the effect of "Monster Reborn", allowing Kaiba to Special Summon his own "Obelisk the Tormentor" and use it to intercept the attack. This causes the attack to fail. Two episodes later, Kaiba activates his own copy to Special Summon his own "Blue-Eyes White Dragon". He then activates "Polymerization" to fuse his three "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" together and Fusion Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". Yugi then activates "Double Spell" to mimic both "Monster Reborn" and "Polymerization". First, Yugi uses the effect of "Monster Reborn" to Special Summon his own "Buster Blader". Next, Yugi uses the effect of "Polymerization" to fuse "Dark Magician" with "Buster Blader" in order to Fusion Summon "Dark Paladin".
- In episode 136, Joey activates this card against Kaiba to Special Summon Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" which was destroyed by Graverobber mimicking "Enemy Controller". Later, Kaiba attacks "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" with "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", resulting in a Double KO. Kaiba then activates his own copy of "Monster Reborn" to Special Summon one of his "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" that was destroyed.
- In episode 138, Yami Marik uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He adds this card from his deck to his hand via "Left Arm Offering". Yugi then activates"Exchange" to take this card from Yami Marik. Yami Yugi then activates this card to Special Summon his "Queen's Knight". Later "Slifer the Sky Dragon" attacks Yami Marik directly, but Yami Marik activates "Dark Spell Regeneration" to activate "Monster Reborn" from the Graveyard to Special Summon "The Winged Dragon of Ra". In the next episode, Marik activates "Zombie's Jewel" to add "Monster Reborn" from the Graveyard to his hand and activates it to Special Summon "The Winged Dragon of Ra" for a second time. In the following episode, Marik activates "Magical Stone Excavation" to add "Monster Reborn" from the Graveyard to his hand. In the next episode, Marik uses this card to Special Summon "Ra" for the third time. Yami Marik then activates the "Egyptian God Phoenix" effect of "Ra" to destroy "Obelisk the Tormentor", but Yugi activates his own "Monster Reborn" to Special Summon his own "Slifer the Sky Dragon" and use it to intercept the effect, destroying "Slifer" and saving "Obelisk".
- In the first above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers his Duel with Yami Marik and when he is explaining to his friends that Yami Marik just needs this card in order to bring "The Winged Dragon of Ra" out because many of its devastating effects can be activated when it's revived.
Waking the Dragons
- In episode 145, Gurimo uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi to Special Summon his own "Marauding Captain". In the next episode, Yugi activates his own copy to Special Summon his "Valkyrion the Magna Warrior".
- In episode 148, this card appears in Yugi's thoughts when Yami Yugi notes that although Pegasus no longer has the Millennium Eye, he was the chosen one and he was the creator of Duel Monsters.
- In episode 150, Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Alister. He uses this card to revive "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".
- In episode 153, this card is shown in Joey Wheeler's hand during his Duel against Mai Valentine. In the next episode, he activates it to Special Summon his "The Fiend Megacyber".
- In episode 159, this card appears in Doma's card vault.
- In episode 163, Yugi Muto uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi to Special Summon Yami's "Dark Magician Girl". Later, this card is shown to be in Yami Yugi's hand, but he discards it from his hand when Yugi activates "Card Destruction".
- In episode 167, Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Alister to Special Summon his own "Y-Dragon Head".
- In episode 171, Joey activates this card to Special Summon his own "Rocket Warrior". Later Valon uses his own copy to Special Summon his own "Buster Pyle". Joey then activates "Scapegoat" to summon four Sheep Tokens. The effect of "Lord of the Red" then activates, destroying all other monsters on the field.
- In episode 172, this card is shown in Mai's hand during her Duel against Joey. In the next episode, Mai activates this card to Special Summon her "Cyber Harpie Lady".
- In episode 174, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Rafael to Special Summon his own "Queen's Knight". Two episodes later, Yami Yugi notices that Rafael discarded this card in order to activate "Orichalcos Sword of Sealing". Later Yami Yugi activates "Spider Web" to take Rafael's copy and add it to his hand. Yami Yugi then activates Rafael's copy in order to Special Summon Rafael's "Guardian Eatos".
- In episode 183, this card appears in a flashback that Rafael has while trapped within the Great Leviathan when he remembers seeing his family's graves and Yami Yugi using this card to revive "Guardian Eatos".
KC Grand Championship
- In episode 195, Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Zigfried von Schroeder to Special Summon his own "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".
- In episode 198, Leon von Schroeder activates this card to Special Summon his own "Cinderella. This activates the latter's effect, allowing Leon to Special Summon "Pumpkin Carriage" from the Graveyard. Later Yami Yugi activates his own copy to Special Summon his own "Dark Magician".
Dawn of the Duel
- In episode 200, Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Yami Bakura to Special Summon one of his two "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" in his Graveyard.
- This card also appears within Kaiba's briefcase when he opens it up and takes his Duel Disk with him.
- In episode 224, Yugi activates "Gold Sarcophagus" against Yami Yugi and banishes this card from his deck, Face-down. Later Yami Yugi activates "Monster Reborn" to Special Summon his "Slifer the Sky Dragon" (whose ATK became 4000 due to Yami having four cards in his hand). Yugi then activates the effect of "Gold Sarcophagus" to reveal the card he banished. To Yami Yugi's shock, the banished card was this card. Due to the effect of "Gold Sarcophagus", the effect of Yami's copy is negated. This means that "Slifer the Sky Dragon" goes back to the Graveyard.
- Ishizu Ishtar comments during the Duel that this card represents Yugi's final message to Yami: "The dead should not linger in the world of the living".
Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light
- During the Duel between Pegasus and Kaiba, Maximillion Pegasus forces Kaiba to discard this card via the effect of "Toon Gemini Elf". Pegasus later uses his own copy to Special Summon his "Toon Gemini Elf".
- Yami Yugi uses this card against Kaiba to Special Summon his own "Dark Magician Girl". Kaiba later plays his own copy to Special Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". Yugi later uses "Double Spell" to use Kaiba's copy of this card and Special Summons Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon".
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
- In episode 1, this card was shown in Jaden Yuki's hand during his Duel against Vellian Crowler. Dr. Crowler later activates "Confiscation" to discard it.
- In episode 2, Jaden reveals to Alexis Rhodes that he drew this card on the last turn of his duel against Chazz Princeton and had intended to use this card to Special summon his own "Elemental Hero Flame Wingman" to attack and destroy Chazz's "Mefist the Infernal General" and win the Duel, but the Duel ended prematurely due to external influences.
- In episode 3, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Alexis Rhodes to Special Summon his own "Elemental Hero Sparkman".
- In episode 4, Syrus Truesdale is shown wearing three copies of this card on his headband while he was praying to "Slifer the Sky Dragon" to do well in a test. Another copy of this card was shown on the table that Syrus was kneeling in front of.
- In episode 8, Zane Truesdale uses this card during his Duel against Jaden to Special Summon his own "Cyber Dragon".
- In episode 10, Para uses this card during his Tag-Team Duel with Dox against Jaden and Syrus to Special Summon his own "Jirai Gumo".
- In episode 20, this card appears when Blair Flannigan drops Zane's Deck.
- In episode 21, this card can be seen when Jaden rebuilds his Deck.
- In episode 23, this card can be seen when Jaden rebuilds his Deck.
- In episode 66, this card appears in a flashback Jaden has when he sees Wheeler as Zane which makes Jaden remember his first Duel against Zane.
- In episode 85, Franz draws this card during his Duel against Jaden via the effect of Jaden's "Neo-Spacian Glow Moss". After his "The Winged Dragon of Ra" was destroyed by "Glow Moss", Franz intended to play this card on his next turn to Special Summon "Ra" from the Graveyard, but he is defeated before he can do so.
- In episode 156, this card appears in a flashback to episode 2.

- In episode 1, this card is shown as part of Yuma Tsukumo's Deck when he gathers it up from his desk at the start of the episode.
