  • This card seems to be the thematic antithesis of the "Melodious" archetype.
    • It follows the same naming convention in its English name.
    • Melodious monsters are LIGHT Fairy-Types, whereas this card is a DARK Fiend.
    • A "cacophony" is disharmonious combination of sound, whereas a melody can be considered a harmonious combination of sounds.
    • This card first released in the TCG in Phantom Nightmare, shortly after new Melodious support released in the OCG in Legacy of Destruction.
