Legacy of Destruction is a Core Booster in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game (OCG) and Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game (TCG). It is the 4th Core Booster of Series 12, following Phantom Nightmare.

- In the OCG, the first print runs of Legacy of Destruction boxes include 1 Legacy of Destruction +1 Bonus Pack. In addition, 1 Hidden Chapter Pack 2024 Vol.1 was given to buyers for every Asian box purchase of Legacy of Destruction.
- In the TCG, 4-pack boxes and 3-pack blisters include 1 of 5 English Super Rare Tokens.
- Introduces new members/support for the "Ancient Gear", "Archfiend", "Centur-Ion", "Diabellstar", "Earthbound", "Fishborg", "Fusion", "Gadget", "Gandora", "Goblin/Goblin Biker", "Gold Pride", "Lightsworn", "Melodious", "Melodious Maestra", "Memento", "Polymerization", "Silent Magician", "Silent Swordsman", "Sinful Spoils", "Snake-Eye", "Voiceless Voice", "Vaalmonica" and "Yubel" archetypes, as well as the Trap Monster and Wight series.
- Introduces the "Ragnaraika", "Sangen" and "Tenpai Dragon" archetypes, as well as the Shining Sarcophagus series.
- The TCG version also introduces new members/support for the "Ashened", "Pendulum", "Salamangreat", "Supreme King Dragon", "Supreme King Gate" and "Synchro" archetypes, as well as the Supreme King series.
